This song makes me emotional. I’m halfway through my teen years, and I’m also a newer tdh fan, IM OBSESSED. I’m going through a rough bit (in a not “teens will be teens” and “quirky” way), and I found this song. I immediately broke down. I now listen to it a lot. Even though I’m new and wasn’t really able to follow the band as they grew (act 1 came out 2 years before I was born 😭😭😭), I have listened to all of the acts, and so many of those songs stuck with me, specifically this one (I know, it’s a demo. But still, GYATTAM, this is good…) I hope Casey brings this one back like he did owls… maybe he’ll bring back some songs if act 6 comes out?
Guys - check out The River Empires. It's another band Casey is in. It's a bit different but still good! Just google them. They have a bandcamp profile.
Oh is he actually in it? I have their whole album on my iPod; but I never realized Casey was actually in it. I just thought he kind of promoted them or something.
He's not "in" the river empires. The River Empires is a side project of some dudes from another band. Casey, along with other musicians, helped them record an Album.
The River Empires is a project Jessy Ribordy of Falling Up did/has done. Casey was in-effect a large part of it given he played and even sang on 1 song from their only record. But he also did production work on it. But when it comes down to it, it's Jessy Ribordy's band/project baby. I'm not sure technically if anyone else in-effect is considered a "member"..other than Jessy and Josh Shroy, whose also in Falling Up with Jessy.
