Being a girl boss has phases. I just closed a 2 million a year business with 15 employees that I grew from scratch over the last 20 years. My kids left for college, covid changed everything and I decided this girl boss was moving to the beach, going to downsize my lifestyle and be a reseller. The best part of my day is driving down the beach to the post office. I’m choosing freedom over money.

My youngest daughter just left for college this year- a year early (she’s a senior in high school but decided to be dually enrolled). I can’t tell you how hard it’s been without them. I wish for a minute I could go back and hug those little pigtails. Listen to their sweet high voices. Embrace your babies. Live your life. On the end, that’s really what matters most.

First - so glad you’re ok, I was worried something terrible had happened but it’s the opposite, something wonderful! I think you have found your “enough”! As women we are always told now that we should want it all, can have it all, etc. but we don’t need to do it ALL. I’m so glad to hear you’ve found a balance that is just enough to make you happy and suit your life!

Congratulations on your next phase! This popped up in my feed at exactly the right time. After 20 years of a volatile career and being treated like there was always a fire and emergency to solve only to be let go after getting companies to stable / successful waters, I'm taking a time out and full time reselling to take back control over my life and time. It's time to have fun and be creative again! What you and other resellers have been able to accomplish from an earnings point of view has been so inspiring over the past few years, that it's been fuel for helping me see that I can do it too. I’m so sorry I’m seeing my life in you. So inspiring!! My Aunt my icon my second Mom was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in September 2022. It looking back was more like 2018 undiagnosed. She was with us until a few weeks ago. I am so happy that you’re having another baby 🥰 I promise you it will lift the heaviness of your Dads diagnosis bringing new life and love into the world it’s the only thing that got me through such a hard time was knowing another little Angel would be coming into my and my family’s life. I am so glad that you found the balance that works for your life! That is why I started reselling so I could cater the hours I am working to my current life situation! If the kids are sick I can work less, if I decide to volunteer I can. Flexibility is the greatest thing about reselling especially when you have a family!

This really hit close, I am struggling with the same hard decision with my babies growing up. I was told I may have to travel for work during my daughter's first birthday, and well I might just quit before that happens. Love your videos and so happy to see you back and living the best life.

Love it! I started reselling in 2018 and I left retail management to have quality of life I wanted to travel more and with all the black out date restrictions in retail I was miserable. I’m from Brooklyn born and raised and want to see how other people live in other parts of the world since I left retail I went to Cuba, Greece, Portugal,Italy, Egypt, Mexico and I just got back from a two week trip to Japan. I do just enough to pay the bills and save for my next adventure. I have family on Maui and I’ve been here since June and my sister mails out my sales from New York life is good 😊

Loved this video!!! I have watched since your beginning and have learned so much from you. I too was fearful at first you were leaving us but I second that really I think you ARE LIVING the ultimate girl boss life!! Freedom!!! I’m so glad you are sticking around. It’s utterly amazing how these little humans can change and enlighten us for the better. I also have 2 girls in high school and college giving me more time to focus on business so there are seasons in life!! I’m so happy for you! There is NOTHING as good as being a mother, for most of us. You are doing GREAT. Success isn’t what the world says it is. It’s one part of a pie that makes up life. The mom life is long days with short years! You will never regret the time you spend with your Dad and daughters, but you would regret the times you spent weren’t there. Congratulations! I've owned a small housecleaning business for 36 years. Three separate times I've hired employees with the intention of building the business. Every time I've decided to go back to being a solopreneur. It's just way less stressful. I plan to run my reselling business myself as well Once you add employees its a totally different thing
