The death of Superman was a game changer for the character. It even made news coverage in the real world. Superman really was that beloved, and I honestly hope he'll be that loved again soon. Superman will always be my favorite superhero.

to a point, i can relate to that, i was born to middle age parents, my dad passed in 2014 but lived to the ripe old age of "92" but sadly i lost my mom to cancer in 1997 before i turned 28 and she was barely a senior citizen then and that was a good 25 years ago now, i still miss her very much...

My very young mind reading this for the first time back in 92 was life-changing, I remember this actually made the news and people truly did feel a loss as I did. He is my first childhood superhero and got me on the path to my love for marvel and DC

Celebrating 30 years of a personal challenge the DC bullpen gave to themselves because they were told they couldn't marry Lois and Clark until the TV series did. And from this point on, every comic character ever, too, went through their own type of hyped up Healing Coma. Also, kudos to Dan Jurgens for putting his foot down on which Jon Kent he clearly wants to write about in this story. Kid Jon.

I was collecting the original issues with my dad as they came out. He was a big fan of the Triangle Era, and actually stopped reading after completing the return of Superman. He wasn't even upset, he was just like "I can't imagine a better finale for all the Superman I've read".

Doomsday was surprisingly simple and thought to be a throwaway villaim but has had a pretty cool impact in some stories throughout the years. Like Jimmy Olsen vs Black K Superman in All-Star, or Devastator from Metal. DC could find a way to make him interesting somehow

Cyborg could literally just boom tube him into a black hole realistically. I'm hoping he isn't just bigger doomsday with more arms and has a bit more going for him but my hopes aren't that high

i remember back when they first released the death of superman comic, if i remember correctly it was a mad house, people were camping out over night in front of comic book stores to get get a copy, and some stores were sold out of copies is less them 2 hours, and in that case you had to wait a few days more for your copy, and of course this was a a few years before most people has a home computer and the internet so you could not order one online hence the long lineups...

Well, that’s not exactly how it played out in the comic. He *was* legit dead. The Eradicator had to make use of some advanced Kryptonian tech to resurrect him wholesale. The healing coma thing was just in an animated movie.

Hey Warner Bros. If there’s even seconds of Amber Heard in Aquaman 2, we won’t be watching it in the cinema. It isn’t fair you remove Johnny even without proper evidence and even after the Verdict Amber gets to keep hers? We will be doing a Johnny Depp Marathon instead when Aquaman 2 comes out. Also, why cancel Bat Girl and keep The Flash? After everything he has done, you decided to keep him and his movie instead. Why tolerate him?
