no matter which melee/unarmed weapom you are using they just drain your hp with their fucking claws... the best weapon against them is anything that uses AP or a good missile launcher

Please. I went full Jetstream Sam on their asses with the katana and all the relevant melee perks. Absolutely cuts them to fucking pieces, permanently knocked down. Throw in the GRX Implant and the Elijah’s Ramblings perk if you want total overkill, but they’re not necessary. Chance’s Knife, Blood-Nap, Oh Baby, shit you can use the baseball bat or a nail board. It doesn’t matter. Melee and Unarmed are both hideously overpowered if you actually have a single, solitarily idea whatsoever what you’re doing when you’re building a character. People regularly clear this promontory on very hard + hardcore with rolling pins and lead pipes. It’s like a New Vegas rite of passage. Kids these days, sheesh

@@MrWestcoast52 The locations, the Quests, the very memorable factions, the characters, the soundtrack, the atmosphere of the Mojave wasteland, the DLCs & theres just something about NV that no other game has captured in my opinion. But do yourself a favor, and give New Vegas a go.

I should mention its possible that they are indeed members of those two factions that left after their respective battles that destabilized their factions and became prospectors and traveled together, putting the past behind them, hence explaining how they have that armor. Its also possible that they were deathclaw hunters which would explain the helmet at the cave full of deathclaws, possibly making a last stand, as we find mercy, maybe he was rescued by the BoS prospector, as there is not the T-51 helmet there. But hey, thats just a theory...
