Basically, quality of life at Hutt Space’s “Coruscant” was Zero

Corouscant is a Star Wars version of Gotham mixed with Metropolis, While Nar Shaddaa is the StarWars equivalent of Sin City, Frank Miller's version. But in colour.

I always thought of Nar Shadda as being like if someone peeled the first 50 layers off of Coruscant and started from there.

I'd like to hear more about New Vertica. I can barely find any info about it, but, essentially a decent chunk of the moon gave the Hutts the finger and declared independence. After devastating losses on both sides, the Hutts allowed New Vertica independence as long as the pay yearly tribute. It's an interesting dynamic, as it is in the heart of Hutt Space, but, not directly ruled by them.

The hutts are one of my fav species their world's and societies are so cool could you do the zigarian empire next and why the republic or empire never took them out

Ngl Nar Shaddaa is one of my favorite planets in Star Wars. It's like Las Vegas in space, how awesome is that.

Nar Shadaa needs a multi season episodic series . The possibilities are just endless with this planet. Maybe we could get a gangster/criminal series with the same quality as early game of thrones where there is basically no plot armor and every death avoided is due to the character being smarter, tougher or both. ( plot armor is why I somewhat dislike the Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett .)

Hutt Space is probably my favorite part of the galaxy. There's so many species that are either slaves or Clients or have carved out an uneasy armistice.

Not just Hutta, but also what lays beyond the more Militarized Hutts & such…

It seemed to me that after the fall of the First Order across the galaxy, the Hutt Space will be the most populated and might rose up as the one of the new major powers in the galaxy in the Mid and the Outer Rims, considering how many refugees fled to live there ever since the time of the Old Republic.

Thank you for this video. I was always afraid but fascinated by the hutts when I was young and introduced to Star Wars. Politically and economically I would say Hutt Space and it’s sphere of influence was operating similarly to China and the Mafias. I read somewhere in legends that many of the Galaxy’s advanced technologies developed on Nar Shadaa because there were no regulations on hazards and safety which made it easier for dangerous experiments to take place necessary to develop technology fast and effective! Cheap labor was also one of the backbone of Hutt space because slavery was not allowed in republic space but legal within Hutt space so the republic was actually indirectly supporting slavery by trading goods and services with the hutts!

Nar Shadaa is my favorite planet in Star wars the old republic. It looks so cool and even beautiful in a way in that game.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like this moon is in the new Disney Canon due to not being seen in the space shots of nal hutta in 2008 clone wars. which is a shame because nar shadda is very interesting place. Or who knows maybe they're going with a more realistic distance between planet and Moon

You know, I both understand and loathe the demarginalization of us humans on Nar Shaddaa. We sure do quite a lot of damage across this galaxy... and then there's the Multiverse as a whole. The Imperium of Man and those Mirror Universes sure are quite a handful of infamous examples.
