THE DEER OF IRELAND - A BRIEF Look at IRELAND'S three DEER Species -WHICH is your favorite ? 

In This Video we take look at the three Separate Deer species that call Ireland home,
Sika, Fallow and Red Deer are all 3 species that call Ireland home,
Sika being a small Japanese breed, introduced most recently in 1860.
Fallow Deer being introduced in the 13th Century from south East Asia and would be our most numerous Deer in Ireland.
Our Red Deer is our only Native Deer, but the population has been limited to only few places left in Ireland and with very little or none of the Irish bloodline left.
