Non dual teachers need to have an fMRI certification on their pages now that we can actually map enlightenment in the brain. This is nobel prize winning type of discovery, perhaps most important discovery of mankind.. the meeting point of science and religion in an age where we are near self destruction. And somehow it only has 25k views and hardly anyone is even talking about it?? Am I insane??

this is the beginning of a spiritual revolution my friend! much like the Buddha grew bored of his material wealth and so he looked within, so will the masses who have grown up in pleasure, leisure, and decadence in the Western world. In this way, we will ressurect Jesus, Muhammad will return, The Kingdom of God is among us! Or the apocalypse will eat the ego of man, and we are in end times!

28:40 This explains a lot about how the great Indian mathematician Ramanujan "received" his proofs and theories. The genius and capabilities of Ramanujan were such that they could not be due to mental powers, because the intellect moves very slowly, thinking takes time, but Ramanujan didn't take any time in responding to Hardy's questions. No sooner was the problem written down on the blackboard or put to him verbally than Ramanujan began to reply, without any time gap for thinking. It was very difficult for great mathematicians to understand how it happened. A problem which would take about six hours for an eminent mathematician to solve - and then too he was not sure about being right - Ramanujan solved instantaneously, unerringly. It proved that Ramanujan was not replying through the medium of the mind. He was not very learned, he had actually failed in matriculation; there was no other sign of intellectual ability, but in connection with mathematics he was superhuman. Something happened that was beyond the human mind.

I know 3 people that can Do exactly the same Throw anything mathematical at them, & they can answer instantly most times before it's been finished being asked/written All 3 are completely different come from different sorts of lives, all 3 come from lower income government public schools. If you put them in Mathematics they'd be Called "Genius" a 'freak of Mathematics" They don't even use mathematics in thier jobs/careers, & not one teacher they had Ever picked up on thier GENIUS All 3 never even knew that what they could do is Just Incredible, Until they met me & I noticed it in them started telling them How freaking Amazing they are to be able to do what they do with Mathematics all within thier minds & all Instantly no calculations just instantly answer & always correctly Like many a "Genius" to them it's normal as they've always done it & they mistakenly think/believe EVERYONE else is the same can Do the same so don't recognize the Brilliance of themselves thier Minds The only astounding part to me is How didn't any teachers see this? Pick up on it? Says ALOT about teachers & the education system, Class system doesn't it ? There are Many Many Brilliant minds out there All not recognizing thier Own Brilliance or even using it, they're quite Happy living life quiet simple & easy, & even when they do know they're not interested in sharing telling the world How Brilliant they truly are they're not very Egotistical rather stay Humble within themselves they know what they can do, those closest to them know what they can do (not through bragging) they just carry on life quiet humble in the knowledge of thier Brilliance !

He underestimates the I. We do think of what we say it's just happening faster than we recognize. Our individual I is our central nervous system. The I is local to our own flesh and bone only. No organism defragments itself to find the I. The personal body/mind is the whole unit. It's like trying to prove you can't find you in your foot. Your foot is part of you. It's not anything other than another local sense to the self. If certain things are missing or fouled up in your system, you'll percieve your world different. However...it's still you. This is you...a whole. Wherever you go,there you are. Also I don't change like he says. I just only show sides of me to different people. We hold back.Omit certain things to other humans. We are all complete...just discreet:)

@@justbreakingballs I don't really care if my ego has been triggered or not, I just think it's incredibly rude to just tell ANYONE that they are resisting the truth. You are not them. Well said Allen Love your point about how only an Ego feels the need to think it has "something" special to teach others Non ego wouldn't feel the need to Also a non ego enlightened one Knows Life itself chooses whom to share itself it's secrets with, if Life itself didn't come to teach you show you how it all is as Life being the only thing that can show you itself then it's false a false prophet/teacher Only ego believes it's been chosen given secrets that it NEEDS to go share with the world, needs to write books about it, have a stage with an audience to spout off to, Non ego knows Life itself chooses whom to visit impart itself to, NONE NOTHING will come from a man from Ego So unless IT comes from Life itself It's false a false teaching/prophet When Life comes You just KNOW you can't argue with it question it It comes it shows you & now you just KNOW Also If we weren't meant to think then why do we? If we weren't meant to have thoughts why do we? If the body doesn't matter why was a Body/mind created in the 1st instance? It's the kind of thoughts that matter Not thoughts themselves Nothing happens for no reason Anyway I just Love that another finally said Only an EGO A HUGE EGO believes it's got something special to teach, a secret to teach, only an Ego sets up talks/audiences writes books, starts spiritual practices calls themselves a Guru a spiritual teacher, sets up video recordings RU-vid channels & believes in itself that much to do all of the above ! Hi Gary, I had my own experience of release in 2008 ... then in 2009 I became T1 diabetic and that seemed to somehow bring the sense of suffering back in a way. You're the first person I see that includes blood sugar as a factor that affects the awakened state. When I have hypoglycemia I've notice a tendency to self contract. I guess is a primitive self preservation mechanism. I've been practicing through the years and seem to be able to navigate it better (i.e I've learned to let go more and more as it happens). You have thoughts again?
@spiralsun1
@spiralsun1 4 года назад
I wish people would be more detailed and specific about what they mean by “blah blah” and in the now. Or what “thoughts” are or inner dialogue? People act like everyone knows what it means but to be honest I have no idea what they are talking about. When I take LSD, AYAHUASCA, Psilocybin etc. I have an expansion of consciousness into spacetime and feel more normal. My sense of meaning similarly expands to include things with less survival relevance, but I have never hallucinated. I took MDMA and it was the pure crystal stuff people were raving about (literally, lol) and it just felt like a more intense version of how I NORMALLY FEEL. that feeling to me is more important to enlightenment than the LSD alone. When I do LSD the main effect is that my here and now ideas about the present are what fall away and I become timeless. Like I perceive back to the beginning of time. Once with Ayahuasca causality reverses and I saw the causes in the future and it was logically linked to past occurrences. This still happens if I pay attention and am calm. The way I see it is in synchronicities on a large scale. That’s the only way to describe it. However, I have never had an experience of the normal narrative of blah blah near as I can tell. However I did have an event that happened when I was just over 1 year old-when the self is forming. I almost died from lack of oxygen. My parents had the new neighbors escort them to the hospital emergency room. However I experienced it as an NDE ! I was floating 30 feet or more above the cars and watched them turn into the hospital. So I always felt like an alien, and I literally could not stand to be around normal people because of how they acted. It was like they were insane just acting in the way normal kids act I now know. But the more I learn about nonduality, the more I realize that I think I was at the 10,000 hour yogi level when I was 4 years old. Not even joking. I made up a mantra to clear my mind not of an inner narrative but to try to stop the unity of myself with others which scared me and stressed me out so much because I thought if anyone realized what I was like and what I was doing they might hate or even kill me. This was when I was 4 years old. My mantra was “that there:there that” and what I did by saying that was go underground. I had a fantasy underground world I lived in too. Anyway I used to think that I was an alien left on Earth by accident. I saw a different world than most people. I didn’t see a division between myself and others and what was painful was seeing and feeling all the pain and darkness around me. I used to have blinding migraines where I would throw up when I was a little kid. My brothers didn’t see. I was totally alone, but I brought home dogs and animals until my mom kept making me get rid of them. One day I caught a bunch of snakes and brought them home all proud and to me they were so cute and wonderful but my mom lost her mind and screamed like she was dying and chased me out of the house. I loved all the animals and she screamed again when I brought home a field mouse, but it was so cute I couldn’t believe she did that. Then I brought home eggs left behind in a field they mowed by the house and that she let me keep. I hatched them and they were mallard ducks! We raised them and taught them to fly. Anyway, I have always had an affinity for animals too and they do unusual things around me. So if anyone has any info or ideas about NDE or OBE effects on this stuff please let me know. I have never thought in words, and it just sounds strange. How can you even think using words?? I go over what I am going to say because I am so different and I used to think this is what people meant by the inner dialogue but when people give examples I am just bewildered because I have never done that. As an undergrad I once told my professor that I didn’t have an ego because I didn’t have a personal self/important combativeness I always found painful in others... before I knew about any of this stuff. Seriously I am a mutant. Not even kidding. Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

@@davidsaintjohn4248 yes. This is the year I come out. I am posting a video about my papers from 20 years ago so that you can see what I predicted. Obviously the direction I speak of back then, the process, and all the researchers working on my stuff now, is ongoing. Prediction 1) we will discover that we are inside of or a projection through a black hole computational process. Is that enough? There’s more... 2) Everything is symbolic and can be read like a book. Been trying to tell people that for 25 years... but it’s finally going to catch on. 3) Symbols are natural law-based structures in an information universe. Again, in all my papers and books from 20 years ago. 4) Humans are an integral part of the universe. And we are not at all separate. 5) The universe is very obviously a teaching machine which is structured beyond the one-way causality we tend to live our immediate lives in. -we are going to discover all these things this year. Because I am going to show you. Starting with my video I am posting this evening of a paper I wrote on the experimental methodology I invented to gather real data on these predictions. I used to teach experimental methodology at Emory university, so I made a hybrid method which you could statistically analyze. This is going to change how you think about the world forever, just so you can be ready. If you don’t want that, don’t listen. Thanks for your comments ❤️🥰

Meditation doesn’t work for me, and in here it seems that meditation is needed. Nevertheless, a couple of glimpses where the sense of I was gone happened, all this without a single meditation session. For a long time I thought I was special because of my spontaneous awakening, I never did anything to elicit this, but recently I learned that there are different ways to start an “spontaneous” awakening, and listening to binaural beats was my portal. Instead of wasting time on theory, learn to sit quietly in a room and meditate. That will decrease your suffering!
@AF-nh2ux
@AF-nh2ux 5 лет назад
Theory is way more important because it can potentially lead us to better understandings of the mind that can potentially lead to far more efficient methods of decreasing suffering. We might even find something better than learning to sit quietly. That's the thing that's good about science, nobody has any idea what they're gonna get so it's good to assume that we don't know the answers but we should still try to find them the best we can.

@@AF-nh2ux By all means, bring in the EEG helmets and the brain microchips, but the theory behind spiritual practice is pretty straight forward. Then again, you have movements like integral psychology a la Ken Wilber who would argue that there are multiple lines of human development that spiritual practice does not address, but either way, the path to waking up and spiritual development is still firmly established, which addresses the bulk of suffering.

I´m all for getting rid of blah-blah. The "I" can be conceptualized in many ways - and none of them is absolutely correct. When we say "I", we don´t refer to some point in the brain. We refer to the subjectively experienced mind/body as a whole. Or some part(s) of it, BUT it´s always subjectively experienced, unlike some point in the brain. So, saying, that because the "I" don´t have any specific one correlative point in the brain, it doesn´t exist; is like saying that anything we refer to with words doesn´t exist. It can be said, yes. But it´s just one way of talking of things, and not necessarily the most sound one from the subjective point of view. Or another possibility is, that when we say "I" we refer to the awareness, and/or the presence, in which the mind-body-phenomenon takes place. Anyways, it´s always something subjectively experienced:) Just saying.

Carl-Richard Løberg no. I'm not you and you're not me. The ocean doesn't discriminate. It's the host/medium or atmosphere to the things that live.An inert hydrogen mixed with everything that grasps it.

@@raz0rcarich99 In some ways it raises questions about perspective. Are there not perspectives from which an ocean is truly just a water drop? His whole thing about the self being puny compared to the not self is one perspective, but it ignores how in many ways the self can still guide this vast ocean of thought. Tiny things can often have tremendous effects on large systems. The I is a part of the unconscious mind, but that doesn't mean it isn't important. In some ways right now Gary is teaching our conscious mind tricks to steer the unconscious mind towards inner peace. The conscious mind cannot control the whole mind, but it can certainly guide it towards specific directions over long periods of time.

@@AF-nh2ux Sure, there are drops of water in the ocean, but they're not separate from the ocean, and essentially their individual "drop-ness" becomes feign in the larger perspective. However, these drops should not disregard the shape and condition of themselves, because they do matter to them. You have a body and a mind that has needs, and even though you are essentially not these things, it's still a valid part of your life. Now, you 'have' these things, but they're not 'you'. Sadhguru tends to put it like this: "Your body is essentially a bunch of food that you have gathered. Your mind is similarly just a bunch of memory that you have gathered. What you have gathered can be yours, but it cannot be YOU".

Here is the easiest fastest route calm peace of mind.....repeat this simple phrase, "I love you Father in Heaven" In nearly all situations people receive negative feelings....moderate the statement to something like, "I don't know you but from what i have heard you love me. so, I am trying to love you even through I do not see or have any sense experience of you Father in Heaven.

thats exactly what Ramana Maharshi says. Google 'Ramana Maharshi and silence' 'saying things' tho, i think depends on where in the mind is it coming from? and is it adding to the current styled DMN or is it spontaneous or Task Positive Network. Gary has another video on '3 different types of thoughts' which breaks it down pretty good. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WnWxCgiZfrc.html but again, as ramana says, the silence is everything
