@@HDreamer let me ask you this: Do you think a nice good town is that because of its buildings or because of its people? IF you think its the buildings there are pretty nice european towns in china with very nice architecture. IF you think its the people, we got some very nice towns here in Germany, but Alsfeld is not one of them.
Coincidentally I just read Red Storm Rising this week and only now realized that Alsfeld is the city where the major breakthrough attempt that occupies most of the ground-war story of that book occurs, which I assume is deliberate from the devs but cool coincidence if not!
It's funny how many of my personal critiques of the game's first Army General were mirrored in this playthrough. Weird lack of AA for a western unit, arty spam cancer with no counter arty in position, capping city point without actually capturing said city by killing the units occupying it, ATGM meta kills everything, etc.
You really don't need to fight with this campaign as the Russians. You legit can just move pass all NATO troops and they literally cannot stop you. Once you reach the back end of the campaign, NATO loses the ability to spawn anything at all.
@@alfredkabatay656 Well they planned to do secruity units in order to not allow one to exploit things. But they only did those for the RU side and not NATO one. Perhaps they should, but even then, I cant call that fun. Fun is the feeling when you win after your beat the HARD AI with 2 friends in CooP

I only clicked on this video, because Alsfeld is only 50km away from me. So they could fight for my hometown. Edit: They couldn’t liberate my hometown :(
