During the big NFT surge of the past spring, the hype was around 1/1's. Exclusive sales from named artists brought the muggles scrambling for any way they could to access platform 9 and three quarters. But didn't that all feel all so very web2. There was some cool work created and sold but to me the best work to come out of this space has always been the work that feels like it could only exist here, a genuinely crypto native experience. Generative art, styled by humans, executed by code - fills that brief.

Great video, it helped me understand and appreciate generative art relative to NFT. In the minting process, properties are chosen at random to affect the art; is it also possible to take some user input? Like for example, if it’s generating word art, is it possible for the first patron in the chain to input his/her name?

Great mini docu and production and love your video's in general. But when you turn 360 on generative art and make a movie like this it basicly turns into a sponsored promo for artblocks. No tough questions, No discussion points. No different perspectives from different artists. This artblock dude is basicly saying gas prices on eth are affordable and this is making art available for everyone? How much ETH do you need to have to say that with a smile on your face. Seriously. Its gambling, earning money on the same principle of knives and skins in CS-GO. You pay to open a chest and hope that the thing that pops out has colors or shapes that someone else has deemed "rare". Its not for artistic reasons, its for money.
