I Almost 100% Agree With Your List, The Only Thing I Would Change Would Be Having Sinclair A Bit Higher, As I Feel He Is One Of The Best Characters In 2 And Brings Alot Of Personality To The Missions
i remember back in the day playing the demo over and over and it never got old hearing andrew ryans speech and at the end of the demo he puts the splicers on you such a great character.
I think your tierlist is very good, but I would have put Eleanor in tier A with Delta, I really liked her as a character. The story she has and the transformation she gets learning from her father during the events of Bioshock 2, going from the innocent girl who just wants to spend time with her father to the endgame growth girl who forgives or takes revenge. And one more thing, is it me or is Porter missing from the tierlist?
Thats true man, Eleanor is such a good character and also a loveable one, also Porter is indeed missing from the tierlist for some reason and he is a such good character and addition for the rapture lore.
Great list! I would have placed Comstock and Songbird a tier lower, and placed Tenenbaum one higher, but that's it. Ryan and Fontaine were as perfect as it gets, especially Armin Shimmerman as Ryan. I love your channel!
Great tierlist! I agree with the vast majority, however I feel like Steinman also had a whole lot of potential (as well as the fact that his character and backstory is very interesting overall). So I probably would have put him one tier higher. But that's just my opinion :)
So there was a weird in-between I found myself in. I could've used this list, which uses the main characters of their respective games... or I could've used a list with every character within the game.
@@TheBioshockHub I was wondering where some of the characters were. I'm satisfied to know you chose this list versus the other one with too many characters.
Just checked out a video of yours going over some Easter eggs (since I just got back into the game with the collection on PS5) and it was 6years old I figured the channel was probably dead, cool to see its still going and your pumping out new content!
I feel like Elinor and Elisabeth are the top of my list. They feel like the main characters of Bioshock even if for half of their games, they are damsels in distress, but they can still fight and have powers no other Human has managed to reach.
Elizabeth and Eleanor kinda feel similar to be honest When I played Infinite, it seems like Comstock trapped her own daughter in a tower where she is like called the "the Lamb" Then I remembered Sofia on how she trapped Eleanor in Persephone where she is like "the Messiah"
Here is my list: 1. Andrew Ryan 2. Zachary Hale Comstock 3. Brigid Tenebaum 4. Frank Fontaine/Atlas 5. The Lutece Twins 6. Daisy Fitzroy 7. Booker Dewitt 8. Charles Milton Porter 9. Sofia Lamb 10. Elizabeth
I agree with your tier list by 90 %! Although you walked over the characters superficially, it is clear. People require more such content! My favorites: 1) Sofia Lamb (an excellent antagonist, its background is excellent, as it was affected by the surface, this is stated in the diaries and in the game menu about the characters, yes, you can find out a lot of things there. The character knows what he does and how to do it I love similar “psychological topics.” It was brought up by her father, she was affected by work, events on the surface and much more. I can tell a lot, but I have to rush, and there may not be enough space. In general, a great character with a good story, in her words It makes sense, although she speaks smart, but many consider her crazy. And I like her; 2) Delta : It is a pity that he was poorly prescribed, as if he were the last in line for the developers for the study. Although the background is still not bad, such as an underwater researcher, who accidentally discovered the city, became a local celebrity there, he was given a nickname - “Johnny outside”, but thanks to the famous journalist and his equally famous (even very popular) newspaper, the tribune of delight, “Johnny "I got into the article, and Andrew does not like such guys from the surface, plus because of the paranoa that its city will be declassified and will become known for the surface, they generally took" Johnny "into custody at the Persephone, just where it was at about the same time sitting Sofia did its job, simultaneously with the planning of the rebellion (excellent villain, manipulator, smart, cunning ... I adore it). "Johnny" became a delta, but not any kind of, but the first successful prototypes successfully connected with the younger sister. (For me personally, prototypes, they are a series of alpha are the best model of daddy and not because they are the first prototypes, because they look cool, and simply more deadly, and they have a little more will!) 3) Sinclair. He is heavenly memory, though there is a spoiler about him in the game menu (on the "M" button and in the tab - the characters), but still a great character, I also did not trust him, like the Tenenbaum, because in this city you can’t trust anyone, but He is so funny, cheerful and simply cool :) And the audio days about him ... Yes, he is one of the elite of the underwater city, yes he is a businessman, loves money, but has many enterprises and a good business, even though Frank is a hundred times more, like Ryan. In general, I love him, like Delta, two of my favorite characters! 4) Eleanor. I just understand her, I have an almost similar situation. Like not like the "daughter" of Delta and Sofia. And as a compound - excellent! Strong, fast and also smart. Just another great character 5) Gilbert. One of the normal and good people in the city, which is not like the rest. I feel sorry for him. A good scientist, a good worker, just did his job, but is ready to go for a lot to atone for the deed, strongly ... And what remains of him in the tank is just something amazing and amazing! Have you even seen Arts? And also love: Tenenbaum, Frank and Cohen with Jack Explain for a long time, but know that. 6) secondary characters from voice recorders. Full random and everyone is interesting and good! Sorry for the verbosity, I just love the very universe of the game! I give you all a big hug from Russia! Ryan agree with that :D
I wish the minerva's den characters were on this list, but otherwise, I enjoy this list. I would have put some characters into different tiers, but everyone has their own opinions
Lady Comstock is an alternate of Elizabeth's real mother and earlier in the story development was going to have a larger part. Comstock is more important as something after the game is ended. The player is supposed to wonder about how Booker and Comstock are so different despite starting off as the same person. Songbird can't be an alternate Booker. I remember that Ken Levine once said Irrational was bad at boss battles. I suspect that a Songbird boss battle would have sucked much worse than the endgame with Fontaine. A major point of the game that the decision to accept or reject the baptism makes Booker and Comstock into very different people. (Booker also seems to suffer from PTSD) I don't understand what you mean when you say Comstock is a future version of Booker. Booker can never be Comstock in any way shape or form. There is also cut content for BS2 that says Eleanor is NOT Delta's daughter. Gilbert Alexander was a slaver, people need to remember that. sm
Unfortunately, this was a pre-made template and I don't think they included them on here, along with many other characters from the series. I can try to look for a much better one.
i’d throw elizabeth in S and i’d probably slide fontaine to atleast B just because of how much impact he has on the entire world of columbia and how much he links to bioshock 1. i think if you did a tier ranking on plasmids, and then weapons, and maybe different levels would be super cool
You have respectfully offended my very person by not including Booker n Elizabeth in the top tier buuuuuuuuut. I'll make you a deal bring me the girl and I'll wipe away your debt, seems a fair to me. 😂😂
My top 3 from the first moment I played the Bioshock games were always Atlas,Booker, and Elizabeth Usually I can always tell when a character is a duplicitous shit from miles away and Atlas was one of those characters that actually fooled me right up till the end and I love that lol
Unlock Origin is fantastic for blocking ads, there's an extension for chrome, edge & Firefox. Great list though, that's pretty close to how I would have done it. Though I gotta admit I have a hard time not taking the book into consideration when ranking the characters from the first two games
Booker would be a A along with Elenore. And Sinclair plus A row excluding Jack (Because he felt dull to me) would be S Don't get me wrong, Jack was a great character but compared to the rest I didn't quite have a connection to him.
@@TheBioshockHub Everything else you have down I totally agree with and I sort of have a soft spot for Troy Baker after he played Talion in Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor and War.
While Infinite wasnt the best game in the trilogy I think it had the best characters by far. Booker, Elizabeth and the Luttece Twins are all "S" tier for me.
Bro, I was literally going to suggest that you do a tier list and wat do u do… u do a tier list. LOL. By the way, yes u should do more content involving the face cam especially with special content like this.
I pretty much agree with the list 100 percent. I would have lowered Delta and Eleanor. Delta to B. And Eleanor to C. Something about the relationship doesn't feel organic. Which it isn't lore wise. But Bioshock 2 did have the worst cast of characters besides gill alexander. Who is a mirror of Cohen. And Sophia Lamb philosophy was very interesting.
