So happy 1920 came in (tied for) 2nd. Don’t have enough OF to do and OF only blind, but 1920 (and 1910!) is so damn good

1920 is my favorite bourbon. Chocolate, cherries and caramel with some circus peanut residue in the scent. I'd drink it over anything. Watched this because I asked a guy at Old Forester what to try that isn't 58% (I drink half a bottle every night eek) and he recommended 1897 BIB and Statesman.

OF is my favorite brand. And 1910 is my far and away favorite. I also bought a bottle of Statesman and honestly ending up pouring it out as I hated it so bad and didn't want it taking up space on my shelf. 😷

As an OF fan would be interested how President's Choice or 150th Anniversary stack up to see if they are as overrated as the Birthday Bourbon compared to regular lineup. Also, it sounds like you guys need to try the "1915" blend of 1920 and 1910.

Shocked Signature 100 came in last. That and OF Rye are my go to inexpensive bottles.

Definitely the 1910 is my favorite, I had the birthday bourbon at the distillery, it is really good but I will never have a shot at getting my own bottle. Statesman is actually surprisingly good.

I was lock step with Sean on the old 1920 versus the new 1920 - i.e. not a fan when it was released, so much so I went and hunted down all the old-style necks I could find. I guess with a little "shelf-aging" they might be getting better? Time to revisit.

Can't comment on BB, KR or Statesman but everything else from OF is just solid, you'll have one you like better but I'd never be upset to find any of them in my glass. That said I do love 1870 and 1910 the most currently.

Old forresters 86! That’s my absolute favourite bottle ATM!! I’m completely new on my bourbon 🥃 journey I’ve had the usual suspects lol . IE buffalo trace, old forresters 86 proof! I’ve got a bottle of woodfords reserve the normal one I think you would call it? It’s a little harsh imho to be honest. But I still enjoy it. Old forresters on the other hand is amazing to sip! On ice 🧊 and it’s great for cocktails too I really like the cherry kinda birthday cake 🍰 taste along with? Dates or something else amazing along with the smell ohh it’s lovely! I’ve got some eagle rare and a bottle of that new ish belleit stuff . I’m just starting to build my collection like I said . Ps great video I enjoy it

I always enjoy this channel but I can’t rely on the tasting notes for recommendations, my palate is completely different than these guys on most bottles.

The Whiskey Row line may be the best readily available family of bourbon ever. I'm a little surprised 1897 came in under Statesman but I get the younger taste. 1910 & 1920 ftw.
