I played with the Wideloads in SMB3 for 4+ seasons and the top 3 you named were good but Masha Donga, Janus Friedman, and Fungo Accuro were consistently my best players. Loved that team
My team use to be the Buzzards in SMB1, I stuck with them in SMB2 as well but something was off in 3, mainly that they traded my favorite player Kimmy Smoke to the Hot Corners. She was mysteriously lucky in SMB1 and became a monstrous homerun hitter with the boosts I gave her, in SMB2 she did ok as my main catcher. Anyhoo, my secondary team is the Moose so I play with them in SMB3... Wait, what do you mean by you didn't ask?
started playing this game 2 days ago. started a franchise by closing my eyes and holding down the random button. got the sand cats LOL. here i was thinking they were pretty good!
Yea im playing as Sand Cats in SMB4 i think they are still F tier in that game too. The pitching is horrendous and in batting i have to overly rely on Hercules and Marsha Brown to get RBIs via homeruns. Hercules got the triple crown but i was still last in my division. Getting more pitching and an additional power hitter to offload some of the burden from hercules and marsha helped a lot though.
As a sirloins player I think they have defense where it matters, having such a solid center fielder takes away so many hits. I also think their offense is better than ranked, but I like guys with very little contact and a lot of power
I’ve played two franchises thus far, my first with the Blowfish and second with the Wideloads 😂 maybe next time I try with a worse team for a real challenge
@@longballhq3128 exactly! i think ur rank of B is perfect for them! they are a good team but on paper not the best exactly lol but this is a great team for beginners to use too! i feel their offense is balanced whether u wana play small ball or go long ball :)
i wish we could do sims but doin my franchises with the buzzards and now the sawteeth it’s hard for me not to have bias. it’s hard for me to disagree with the list too bc in my seasons the hot corners are never in the playoffs but teams like the beewolves and crocs are it’s weird
I rarely see the beewolves and crocs. I do think that it's likely different which teams do well in sims and which are more advantaged for players. This list is more focused on the player perspective.
Relatively new Super Mega Baseball player here. Can anyone give me tips on how to balance custom teams for season play? I've made a few so far but I think they might be a bit too strong.
Yeah, that's a tricky question for sure. One easier way is to leave the stats as they are generated since in theory those are balanced I believe. If you want to tweak them, just try to give as much as you take to keep it even. But you need to keep in mind that certain skills are more valuable than others. Like power is always huge, but fielding for outfielders is not super crucial
@@longballhq3128 I see. The game does keep telling me that the stats are "extreme." I'll try to maybe lower some of the higher-letter players to to B or C. Thanks for the advice! Is there some way to reset the stats without having to completely remake my teams?
@@longballhq3128 Yeah, when I'm viewing the team in most menus it says stuff like "Extreme Rotation Aces" or "Extreme Speed Demons." I might just completely remake my teams from the ground up when I get SMB4, and balance them better this time.
idk, these are all the standard teams. Maybe you're using a custom league? Try whichever mode you want and change the league to standard teams, you'll find them all there
Crying shame EA haven't given you any early access or "creator" love. You should contact EA yourself and ask. Just point to your channel for proof you're all in on the series.
@@longballhq3128 Grappler's. If you can't homer with Zoom it's because you're bad don't blame her. Gave a like for captioning the video though, that's very thoughtful.
