its always soldiers vs soldiers and kings vs kings, soldiers do not interfere when the kings fight ( unless the soldiers are done fighting all the opponent soldiers ). Even expert archers dont shoot the opponent king as that is against ethics of war.
One of my best experiences on gaming is completing this game once and trying again for another ending. Perfect parrying a boss you spent HOURS beating on the 1st run is cathartic.

This guy ain't shit. He is good at the game, but he ain't no god gamer. This looks way harder than it is because he sped it up (i think, based on the deflection timings that i have memorized). Also, I do not dislike this person. He is genuinely skilled at the game. I just think people are hyping him up more than is reasonable. Note: When I said this guy ain't shit in the beginning, I was referring to basic phase one isshin. This is from the perspective of someone on new game plus 11 or 12. And I've also 100% the game along with no hitting genichiro, inner genichiro, isshin, and inner isshin. (Without chip damage from moves like ashina cross or sakura dance, damageless would be a better description)

Sekiro feels like playing a Hack and Slash, but where you do all the moves that seem incredible without the game helping you in the slightest, incredible.
The fact that you HAVE to get this good at deflecting to be able to clear bosses in this game is mindblowing. I used to watch people deflect every attack an enemy puts out and thought they were good. Thing is, they HAD to be good otherwise they can’t clear it lol
one thing i truly love about sekiro: sdt is that it’s a “rhythm” game… for me, at least. constant aggression mixed with timely deflections along with the satisfying clashes is cathartic to my music loving ears 🔥🥷🏽❤️

My first play through of seikiro I didn’t beat the game. I was mid and couldn’t beat final. Waited a year or so later played again was a lot better and managed to finish the game 💪🏾those moves def took time to master.
The controller not looking like a malfunctioning strobe light christmas tree is the most surpising part It looks so calm and slow for inputs when youre not watchig gameplay 😂
Just started today and got off it just now man felt like I was playing Star Wars but so much more fun and smooth the clashing of the swords to the and the dodging once you get that down game over and deflecting is insane man I love it more the the sabers clashing had to restart bc I was just running threw diving mfka up then I realized once I hop on here n watched a couple clips I started a whole new game barley getting of man best game I’ve played in years man
