There’s a lot of deleted scenes in The Batman and personally I would’ve sacrificed certain scenes in the film to include them. That Joker scene at the end for example can go.
Agreed, I feel like a lot of these scenes add characterization and depth to these characters who were underdeveloped such as Jim Gordon and Alfred, who I thought could have been done much better!
Completely agree. That scene with Edward and Joker's giggling literally sounds like a recording of Reeves being excited after setting up the war of jokes and riddles 😢😢😢 Not saying it shouldn't happen lol but it's a bit extra.
The amount of attention to details and realism this movie has is INSANE! I Can Understand the massive effort in this film. Love the this Film in one word
I don’t understand why people hate on the movie but I also don’t understand why people love the movie. The one reason I don’t like it is because Batman isn’t written like Batman normally is. He’s not a good fighter, he’s not very smart. And I know people say it’s because it’s year two but that doesn’t make a difference because he went around the world to train and prepare for 10 years. If you have been practicing for 10 years you should have no problem when you come back to Gotham. I mean the year one comic he didn’t screw up like this. He took out a whole swat team and he wasn’t even bulletproof
Exaaactly, I saw it 5x in theaters, ive nvr done that, usually 2x max n I'll wait till home release to rewatch but it was so immersive, the atmosphere, aesthetic, score, characters, story, everything was so slowly burning in a way that kept me hooked, EL RATA
The only scene I wish they'd kept was the one with Gordon at GCPD watching the cops trying to decipher the code. It emphasises Batmans competence and let's us spend a little bit more time in Jim's shoes. I could do without both the joker scenes. There's no rush to introduce him. Batman has one of greatest rogue galleries in comic books and I'd prefer a lot more build up before his introduction in this more grounded feeling world.
Excellent video! At 4:08 the scene that originally featured Selina was actually an intentional bait & switch by Matt Reeves, the crew filmed those scenes with Zoë Kravitz to trick the audience into thinking it was Selina, when they watched the movie. They did something similar with Barry Keoghan, where he filmed scenes playing the valet that parks Bruce's car in the same scene. All of this was confirmed by Matt Reeves during interviews for the film.
Deleted Scenes in the Final Cut of The Batman or not, this movie is still amazing and I’m still excited for The Batman Part II! I also still hope that The Batman gets two trilogies like MCU Spider-Man.
@@WarpingFist well it's MCU. They'd do that if they want to. Though I really wish we had another Raimi Spider-Man trilogy. Even if it means we wouldn't get other Spider-Men at the time. But I heard that Tobey's gonna return again in Avengers Secret Wars. So that's a plus I guess. Hope it's not fake 😅
Used or unused didnt matter but what matter is that the movie is a masterpiece. This movie hands down saved the DC and the butt of WB, I loved it and i am really looking forward to its other contents coming
Bro these deleted scenes were golden especially the ones with Penguin helping out Selina and Bruce dealing with his company. They would've add even more nuance to these characters. Would an extra 10 minutes seriously derail an almost 3 hour movie lol.
Too bad the Scenes couldn't make sense or connect with the plot. Expect the penguin more sequences, other scenes just Seem forced and I don't mind that they got deleted
I Think those scenes were cut for necessary reasons. Such as The joker scene couldn't make sense as the Gotham already has gone into the flooding or the Suit scene cause They want it to show in it The Batman PART 2. Whatever the reason the changes was made I Think we still can agree that the movie is amazing
The only issue I have with this masterpiece is the fact that they did not reference the 'adrenaline' shot earlier in the film...it would have been nice to have seen it come full circle
I have to agree. I can imagine Selina seeing it next to his computer equipment. Selina: "What's in that syringe?" Bruce: *Glances at it* "Epinephrine" Selina: "An adrenaline shot?" Bruce: "For emergencies" *Grabs it and puts it in his belt* Then it comes full circle when he injects himself with it to save her.
I would love it to be this universe's early version of Venom. Bane could go on to modify that compound, creating a more potent version like his iconic Venom
i find it a bit cool how the color correction in the trailer were saturated blues (probably because they took inspirations of how artists sometimes draw Gotham in the comics), while in the movie its gray oranges light reds.
@@tobiaspegues7318 Sounds like Aquaman 2 Will Dogshit if the screening reports are to be believed! On the Bright side Lobo fans may finally get what they always wanted!
@@WarpingFist In fairness The test screenings went quite well for it, it’s as good as the first Shazam(although I still call that character Captain Marvel since Shazam is supposed to be the Wizard’s name) according to test screenings
I can get cutting the Joker scene but they should've kept the Penguin scene since it leads into his show, possibly the gcpd scene and the accountants scene maybe should've stayed in, it had me thinking mostly because I wanted to see a little of Bruce and how he handles his company
Movie was already too long so good they didn't strech it further. I didn't have to see extra minutes of Batman slowly moving around crime scene. ZSJL being longer didn't feel long as The Batman. Good job as always Warping!
Thanks. Typically I’m the type of guy who has a general standard for the quality of my videos. If I don’t reach that standard then I literally won’t upload it. It’s like I have OCD or something.
the one scene i thought about for the longest was when he threw the box over i was irritated when i saw it wasn’t in the movie hopefully they release it aswell as the newspaper glasses scene
This movie uses a lot of things that were never used before in different ways that make it like you are seeing batman for the every first time used in this movie that you seen in video games and the novels
i want atleast a trilogy of trilogies focused on batman/bruce wayne with comics, specials, animation, audio story, merchandise, shows and movies of villains and side characters like batgirl, batwoman, robin, nightwing, batfamily etc. plus crossovers like world's finest, trinity, the justice league.
They should of removed the Salina Kyle and Falcone storyline, where he is shown to be her father. The character building was way more interesting than that kinda random storyline in the movie.
I wish they wouldn’t have even showed Joker yet. In my headcanon ideal Batman universe, Joker shouldn’t appear until probably year 4 or 5 of Batman’s career. I prefer using more “grounded” villains for the first few years of Bruce’s career (Riddler, Black Mask, Calendar Man, Zsasz, Penguin, etc.) Joker doesn’t really fit as a “year one” type of villain imo.

While It’s true that I said “14+ Unused Scenes” in the video that was a mistake. That’s why it says “14+ Unused content” in the title. Penguin Scene Joker scene Suit up scene Detective scene Waynes apathy Catwoman funeral set photos 6 alternate takes on lines in the film 8 unused shots That counts as 14+ unused content. Especially since theres some more minor shots that I didn’t include that were present in the Fandome 2 bts video.
Whilst I liked the Batman I wish some of these scenes had been added in! Penguin’s ambitions seem particularly interesting as in the comics he was portrayed as trying to take Falcone’s territory as well as the reference to Barbara!(there were also theories about the Riddler being Batman’s half Brother as the result of an affair from Thomas or Martha, which could have been interesting!)
@@WarpingFist Yeah I kind of wish we got more with him though He was brilliantly portrayed by Collin Farrell and I’m excited for his spin off show! Also since Clancy is playing Maroni, do you think if they ever introduce Harvey, they’ll actually have Maroni do the one act he’s known for yet hasn’t done since Batman Forever?(Yeah I know that’s the last Batman story I can remember where Maroni was the one who scarred Dent and lead to Dent’s transformation to Two Face)
@@WarpingFist Yeah True, it’s just interesting that Harvey’s scarring tends to be the result of other characters rather than Maroni in most adaptations!
Literally people were whining because the movie was long which is quite a kind of sad like all the movies too months I'm like d*** what do you expect I've already seen a longer movie than the shorter movie
