when the dad said “your family always has time for you beta” .. ITS SO PURE THE WAY HE CALLED HIM BETA (it means ‘son’ in hindi) like even tho joey doesn’t know what it means just... THE DAD IS SO PURE 🥺🥺
I'm really happy with the fact that the dad understood the teens' addiction to smoking unlike most parents that act as if the sudden withdrawal won't cause problems
I feel really sorry for the boy because he literally has to go and get drunk just to keep happy and have self confidence😢 Edit: omg thank u sooooo much for over 700 likes I’ve never got that much before!
It was genuinely so sad and heartbreaking when the sweet daughter was crying because they were letting her parents down and everything 😭 I feel bad for the Indian girls because the new kids are ruining their reputation and everything.
@@goldster100 different? if the first world countries accepted their "differences" there was no need for them to land in India. Finding loopholes in other cultures when it ain't fixed in your own isn't doing any good, even in comparisons.
that was very disrespectful to the dad. it's the anniversary of his dad's death. how could you not be doing your best to help him get through his time of grief?
KJ 5000 yeah, like if I was asked to do something like that regardless of who I am I'd still do it because its respectful to the dad and the dads father
@@_JustJoe yea me too, it is infuriating sometimes to see some strict families actually go through the teens bag and their personal belongings behind their back, seizing their ciggies and then asking them to "respect the rules of the house" even OUTside of it...
@@SeArCh4DrEaMzalso smoking is the last of there problems all these other family’s spend ages battening that with them not getting to there deep rooted problems.
The dad is so adorable when he sends 'his new kids' off to school. And then so tender and precious when the one daughter is crying because they let her dad down.
I can't believe that girl actually had the NERVE to complain about the clothing she had to wear to his father's memorial service. I can't even put into words how pissed that makes me. How freaking rude.
@@brianaf5410 why not? I mean it is his house, they're invited guests. He didn't hit her, he didn't physically harm her anyway. He just made her leave.
Rosendale Jr.- I have actually thought every family I've seen on these "strict parent" shows was really great to and for the kids.. But I do agree that this family seems lovely.
@Mr. danger More likely they live unhappy lives of 'normalcy' and while you can pretend that those people are so much better than the kid shown on this screen, at least this kid will be able to get help and not live in misery because the symptoms are easier to see. Don't pretend like these people don't exist, it's just that cultures such as the ones you talk about are no as open with emotions and are less likely to show it.
Nyssa Treviño he didn’t have to but at the time she was his daughter he didn’t harm her she wasn’t being smacked or punched simply grabbed and put outside it’s just discipline and he has the right do discipline his child anyway he thinks is correct
"dont bring stress to yourself" after she blatantly disrespected his dead father over 'fashion'. i dont know how anyone could bring themselves to disrespect this family lmao
@@ashr.k5041 not just woman we have set rules for men too. Men should not roam around, don't talk to woman disrespectfully, don't smoke or drink ,don't wear weird clothes ,don't fight, talkback. We are equally controlled dear . These family is pretty chill. Apart from the dad grabbing the girls hand which was shocking cuz male do not really touch members of opposite gender if not given consent or if they don't know each other that well ...
Prakriti Jeff Sometimes it doesn’t feel like that. Even tho my parents are equal with me and my brother, my friend gets treated unequally. Her brothers can do whatever they want and she has to cook and clean all day.
The Indian couple is the most patient I’ve ever seen for the amount of disrespect and disobedience they had to put up with. I would have called their parents the second time I caught them smoking. I would have been tempted to make them walk home!!😂
the girl annoyed me so bad. she had no respect whatsoever for anyone. “I never say sorry to anyone” well honey sometimes in life u have to say sorry for the things you do wrong. you aren always right. my mom would’ve killed me man
@ֆɨʍɨօռ ʊֆαȶօv̟ yea my dad would ahve done the same to me if I had ever been so disrepectful which I never would be. My parents would also never let me and my brothers be brats either they weren't mega strict they just gave punishments for us being disrespectful and raised us to work hard for what we want. Guess what because they didn't soft serve parent none of us turned out like these kids. We all have teh qualifications we wanted and all work.
@ֆɨʍɨօռ ʊֆαȶօv̟ still his house his rules if she refused to leave which she was he had every right to force her. He didn't hurt her he just made her leave
@@kingthief9118 she's is like this cause she gets to do everything that and the way she wants. Always.. and never even pause to think of others... extremely self centered and selfish
@@proudindiancitizen2494 She was extemely hurtfull to the father, he had lost his father which of course is diffcult to cope with the least she could of done was respect the fathers wishes in the furneral
I like this dad, he’s more positive and understanding than the other ones I’ve watched. I wish they would have listened to him more. Although that principal is something else lol
Ookami Megami yep.. when he was talking to them and they laughed i literally was like this man is trying to help you and you laugh at him right in the face
except hes been v sexist throughout, insisted that shola cover up but not joey, only raised his voice on shola, manhandled her. And obviously gave joey privileges he didnt give shola like his own room, the freedom to drink/smoke whenever
Indian food smells very strong, the smell in the buildings probably covers it, they clearly werent chewing gum or brushing teeth between sips or cigarettes
She keeps talking about Africa but no African auntie would have accepted that behaviour… she ruined things for the other guy, at least he took the family’s side when she disrespected his father
the problem is they're not very smart about hiding they're bad behavior they're flaunting it because they think it makes them cool, so they're getting caught
Indian kids will be up to mischief and then act like angels. So that the parents don't find out who did it. The truth will eventually come out when the beating begins
I love these parents. Not too harsh , yet they get their point across sternly. Still even with the poor behavior they surprised both of them and made them feel understood.
Honestly this is the most sweetest family that’s ever been on the show (that I’ve seen) there so understanding and patient. These teens were disrespectful at times but they never gave up on them.
I feel that most of the kids appearing in this series, just want to be heard in some way or another. They're crazy and disrespectful, but they obviously feel like they can't talk to anyone about themselves. These kids always change when the stricter parents get them to open up. It's interesting.
Bruh the Indian mom was awesome and the Indian dad was really good and understanding (but Like he snapped in that one scene bc like she disrespected him and his dead father and he was probably really hurt but yeah he was aggressive)
Well this dude grabbed her at 35:16 idc if it’s his house he’s abusing her. He is controlling and thinks he controls women. His daughters look miserable. Also I get his father died but why sign up for the program if ur dad died like ofc the teens will flip out. 🙄
unknown But he is too controlling I get it’s his house but if he’s gonna invite bad teens to live with them he should at least be more mature. He also grabbed her. She said multiple times ‘get off me’. Anyways I get his father died and stuff but why invite them during the week of his service? Also you need to realize this girl isn’t his own kid.
Yes me and my sibling. And almost every Indian children. No matter how strict parents are at the end of the day we always realise that they can never hurt us (mentally/physically). They protect us. It's just like when there are children at home parents usually hide sharpen things so the child don't hurt themselves.
@@terranowa2080 we, Indian kids, would not want to let our parents be ashamed (most of us). If they feel ashamed, we get really really hurt. At least that's what I experienced living in India. Parents work so hard for us, and try to give us the best while they themselves suffer trying to do the best for us. The least we can do is to keep them happy.
@@robertkrista5551 it definitely has to do with india more then most other countries, but even in US and other places, that type of stuff does happen. Ive seen it plenty of times
These were actually the first parents I've seen that haven't been so selfish and unncaring. They actually listen to the kids and change their own rules for their benefit
what if these teens were in iran?alchol is forbidden and girls should cover their body and if they don't police and family will cut our heads off😑so sad that i'm an iranian girl🥺
15 year olds in india: angel kids 15 year olds in the u.k.: smoking/vaping, arguing with teachers for 5 minutes straight, drinking since 5, flirting in lessons and vandalising everything
What's ironic is that Shola ended up looking extremely beautiful in the dress the father gave her. The green actually did go with her complexion lol & she was stunning.
Ikr! Indian clothing is beautiful. I live in Canada so I do not wear it often but I love when I get the chance to wear my traditional Indian clothing when I go to temples:)
“What kind of hairstyle?” “Why they need such kind of hairstyle?” Omg that’s something every adult in my family would say 😂 my family’s Indian and I dyed my hair hot pink last year and they were like WHAT
