Also, all life started in the waters. Babies are nurtured and grown in the waters of the womb. And while that doesn't mean that "evil" can't be grown in the waters too, not everything that comes from the waters is nefarious. You're totally right about that.

being of yoruba descent adopted by black american christian parents, there were a lot of things that i learned about my culture that parents have demonized. i have a deep connection with yemoja and she has taught me a lot of things and has even given me a name. i was so excited to tell my parents about what i learned and they looked at me like i was crazy, saying that i’m messing with “dark” entities or something, but the lord has shown me that: i need to stop trying to seek validation from ignorant people. my path is for me and not for anyone else.

Finally someone has spoken up! I hate that religious people look down, judge, demonize literally everything. Everything in this world has “good & evil” not everything that is of light is good nd not everything that is dark is bad and once i grasped that. I stopped fearing the dark. I’ve always loved different beings, water, witches, etc ! Anything spiritual nd supernatural but cause i grew up in a Christian home. I was hushed outta fear of being “evil”. My intuition is so strong that I’ve known who to open up to about things so at 25 many still don’t know certain sides to me because i don’t care to hear the judgment.

My grandma actually told me a story on how she was a mermaid in her past life- she even has a tattoo on her leg of HER !

My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and all she wants my grandfather to do is take her to the ocean or some type of body of large water. Plus she’s extremely knocked kneed and when she stands she looks like she has a mermaid tail. Her and I are both Pisces ♓️ but I’m more on the cusp with Pisces Aries. My grandpa takes her to the water everyday that’s where she finds peace

This is right on time. I didn't know there was hate against the Marine Spirit. I got into sailing over 15yrs ago. I have owned 2 boats. Five years ago I sailed from Annapolis to Panama on my 44' Gulfstar Ketch and yes, I am the Captain of my own ship. At that time, I owned 2 boats. I am still in Panama where I sailed right up to my farm. I prayed to The Goddesses for this. I was very specific in what I wanted in a farm and found it less than 3 months after arriving here. I really had a spiritual connection after the dolphins showed after we left Key West. The dark skies, the moon, and the millions of stars was all talking to me. I highly suggest getting a sailboat and going sailing. It saved my sanity. And yes, I am throughly connected to my Ancestors. That's why my family thinks I am crazy. But, they all in the church. And then later they crucified Jesus on grounds of witchcraft and sorcery keep in mind most of his miracles had to do with water ( water into wine walking on water feeding people with fish, even raising the dead is affiliated with fish since ancient Egypt and the story of Osiris/Ausar) and the ancient christians ...we were persecuted for following him and used the fish as symbol to practice our ancient faith which he was continuation of. I unknowingly baptized myself some years back in far rockaway ny ocean. I held my nose counted to 3 and threw myself back and before I came back up it felt like I was being held like a child. I came back up thinking I might've imagined that but the feeling never went away. But I knew it happened. Aside from that, there is so much things on this earth that many of us won't believe is true but is. "Truth is stranger than fiction." I’ve had many dreams of Yemaya for about 18 months now. But most recently I had a dream of a jellyfish. Most of these dreams I can not see her but I feel her presence and she is there with me in the ocean and in the lake

And actually, there was a time when the Mother was worshipped as God and as a sovereign virgin being (not connected to a man). I feel like "historians" always focus on specific ages and time periods when patriarchy ruled -- for example, they say that ancient Sumer and Mesopotamia were allegedly the first major civilizations around the 5th century BC, but I just don't believe that. Human beings have been on this Earth for wayyy longer than that, so do they mean to suggest that people were just chilling in huts or caves for tens of thousands of years until men created civilization? Nah. I think they deliberately avoid talking too much about the years prior to the 5th century BC because that was the time that the MOTHER was worshipped as God. It's been theorized that the Mother was worshipped as God for over 30,000 years -- it wouldn't surprise me if Goddess worship was the predominant spiritual system in Lemuria and Atlantis, which is why some historians are so desperate to make those places seem "mythical." I think the veneration of the Mother was worldwide and lasted for far longer than patriarchy, and certain people on this Earth are hellbent on preventing people from finding that out.

I'm Pisces and since my youngest age I have a huge conection with the water and Yemoya, i am nurse for more than 10 yrs and always being a good person that cares, love, a giver of all good things, with a good vibes always very protective with people. And i don't care what others says about marine spirit I feel like I am from the waters. ❤ I have a beautiful experience with yemaya I helped my sister give birth my niece, my sister was cursed and in all her pregnancy she had a lot of moments that she was about to lose her daughter and I started dreaming with my grandmother who by that time passed away showing me that my sister lose her daughter in front of me. So I started asking yemaya and I fired a blue candle and that day when the candle ended I started getting high blood pressure and I thought I was about to die and what people told me is that i collected all that bad energy thru that procedure I flew to Puerto Rico the day that my sister delivered and she came with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck but thank God doctors did his job and now she is already 5 yrs old smart and a beautiful girl, and in the exact moment that she was coming to the life the person who cursed her was gunshot by 18 times and died, karma always come around.

I am from South Africa. I was born in ancestral worship and marine worship, in my language we call it "amandawo spirit". Christianity and the marine spirits never mix... and please understand that Roman Catholic and Christianity are two different religions. Please my sister don't mislead people.
