This might take the cake for most underrated track for me. Haven’t heard anyone talk about it but each section has been playing on loop in my brain all day. And it’s just so fitting as the preamble to a final boss. Man, this game’s ending is TERRIFIC.

I love this one, actually I love the whole path that lead to ganon, the atmosphere, music etc is so well done. An unnerving music starts to play that gets more and more then you see a giant hole, you go in it thinking that this is the final fight where you'll fight ganon, but instead, you fight Ganon's whole army. I did none of the story bosses so when I gets there I need to fight all of them. I love what nintendo is doing with the Zelda games. I'm waiting for the DLCs

So good. I have to say it’s a better ending than BotW’s (and that says a lot coming from me) since for BotW, you aren’t really there for the boss fight, you’re there to save Zelda. In TotK, it’s like, “Why not both?” But I like BotW’s epilogue more for sure.

1:32 this section is actually a reference to the descent into the pit in Skyward Sword where Link fights the hordes of monsters to reach Ghirahim. The main difference here though is that this track is not very desperate, but more heroic and epic.

THis reminded me so much of that scene. You want to get to the Demon King? You have to go through hundreds of monsters. They may be weak but shit there's a _lot_ of them.. "I don't care if you're all skewered on the end of his blade, just buy me enough time!"

What I love about this fight is that it sets up Ganondorf so well. Of course a Demon King would have hordes of monsters that would fight for him at a moment's notice.

This track is amazing because, if you listen to the normal battle music from throughout the game, it references this track. Like every bokoblin, moblin, lizal, etc. you’ve fought has led up to this moment. Fantastic musical design

Yeah and I love how it also has the leitmotif of the music that plays when you're fighting a horde of monsters, it's like a sign that this will be your final fight against them before you take out their source

I like how Ganon is built so good and link doesn't even have a single muscles but can still lift a broadsword with one hand when merged to a sword

This theme is so good for so many reasons. BOTW/TOTKs battle theme is dynamic, and starts quiet and picks up depending on the enemies around and how many there are, but in this moment it feels like you're hearing that same battle theme you've been hearing fully unbound in all its glory. It starts tense and dark, but as you make progress the theme gets more and more hopeful with each phase.

best track in the game, and one of the best in the entire series. it's almost unbelievable how excellent of a grasp the composers have on layering and composition. the sheer amount of complexity in the soundtrack throughout the entire game is wild.

@@AwesomeCaden73I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the music is not created digitally. It wouldn't be so high quality otherwise, as far as I'm aware we haven't yet come up with such good quality digital music yet (except for AI but AI can't read sheet music, it can only create a new piece from a preset database). So yeah it's probably live music, and that's why it's so good. (MIDI files in older games are very recognizable, and not as good quality as this).

I ADORE how well this fight was implemented to be sure that you're ready for the battles ahead, the amount of loot is always SO good despite not being able to keep it. The encouragement to give it all you've got and keep going is so cool

0:48 This is the kind of musical shit I adore. This ostinato is ever so slightly longer than the beat, so it gets slightly delayed each time (until it loops back to on-beat), which makes it very "different" to hear despite being the exact same notes each time. It also adds a certain progression and the feeling of longing for a goal/destination despite (again) the motive itself being very repetitive. It's basically musical wizardry.

I love how this theme not only mixes in the battle themes of both BotW and TotK, but also the final Ganon Fight theme from A Link to the Past, which is one of my favourite boss themes in the series. Couple that woth it sounding like it comes straight out of Age of Calamity, this is a really well made track

I just can't get it out of my head how this section was so similar to Devil May Cry 5. The battle theme sounds like "The World Is Screaming" from DMC5, and this whole area felt and looked like the Qliphoth. And Ganondorf was literally chillin just like Urizen.

It’s mostly used on past Ganon’s fights such as A Link to the Past, Four Swords Adventures, A Link Between Worlds. It even plays on Wind Waker during Phantom Ganon’s theme. Personally it’s my favorite leitmotif and song from the Zelda franchise.

Best fight track in the game. Even Colgera doesn't stack up in my opinion.
