As a follower of Jesus, I'm so glad He redeemed me from these festivals, I used to love going to Ultra, Bonnaroo, E-Zoo and the like. The last one I went to years ago, I knew in the Spirit it was going to be my last, thank you Lord for not letting me resist, I don't miss it at all and pray He leads all people to Himself.

I've seen Christian's make videos speaking to their witnessing about Christ to people at the Burning Man event and saying some people were receptive but their indeed were occultic undertones to the event. When we "play" with the forces of darkness that appeal to our fallen nature we open ourselves to grave deceptions. The gnostic connection and calling for special "enlightenment" via narcotics, supernatural 'knowledge,' a symbolic burning pyre . . . seems reality there.
It's depicted very straightforward in the 70s film The Wicker Man....the cult specifically chooses a Christian virgin to sacrifice in the burning wood....for the summer soltice..which Burning Man was based on. We have a similar ritual in Croatia, particularly in the area where I live. It comes at the end of a period of a series of carnivals, beginning one day after Epiphany (6th of January), and finishing on Ash Wednesday (first day of Lent). Basically, there's a whole ritual surrounding it: making a life-size straw-man (literally), and its christening, giving it a name on Saturday; putting it in prison on Monday; displaying it publicly on a high pole on the main city square on Tuesday, along with laying on it all the local negativity, evils and troubles from the past year in a court play (with a judge, a prosecutor, and a defense attorney); and finally on Ash Wednesday it is taken from the main square to the port, put in the sea, doused in gasoline, and set on fire, with the crowd cheering. The heathenism of it is astonishing.

I have heard those same arguments from close family members, they can’t even see the destruction they are bringing on themselves and the brokenness it’s causing in their families, it’s a serious problem, as a Christian I have been taught from the scriptures to test everything to see if it’s of God and we do that by knowing the word of God but when people brain wash others that the Bible is simply a book written by Men they stop reading it and following those other voices. It’s a very sad and revealing world we live in because of the scriptures we know what’s going on.

I was at this years Burning Man event (2023). I had previously been in 2018 but was only there for 4 days and missed the burning of the man and temple. As a believer in Christianity and God, I had given some thought about the darker things that occur at BM. This year put the nail on the coffin for me though. On Friday of the event the playa flooded. All the money and prepararion i put forth to attend seemed to go to waste. I made it to Sunday and after a second day of postponing the burn I figured it was a good time to leave even though the BMIR radio station and rangers were lying to us about leaving saying the gates were closed and they were fining people. We made it out in about 15-20 minutes, yes the roads and playa were bad and a lot of people were stuck really bad in the mud, so i can see why they told people that. However i see divine intervention from God that we left when we did, after a week in the desert, one day before the burn. This would be my second time at the festival not seeing the burn. I can't help but think this was Gods way of saving me from seeing the culmination of this event in a neopagan Satanic ritual. That's what it is. I know now that despite my love for what Burning Man can be that ultimately it is tied to very dark forces. God is saying don't come back, as in the Bible it forewarns of these practices. There is a lot that can be said in addition to this but they openly mock God and worship pagan idols there, the temple a great example. A video that i watched of the burn this year, no lie you can hear spirits screaming from Hell it's very eerie.

It was crazy for me. I didn't know about this festival. I had a dream the night before about a square opening up in the floor with fire visible in it. Satan was in it, too. I told him I was going to pour Holy Water down the opening to put out his fire. Next morning I read about "the rain putting out the burning man fire!"

One of the female kittens was all gray, the 2nd female was black & white and had an identical brother, and the 4th was a gray&white tuxedo boy like his daddy. Spitting image, same markings even their noses which are half white/half gray. I ended up keeping 2 of her offspring, I fell in love with the gray ones and I thought KikiBird would like companionship. At 8 months I adopted out the black & white ones. The nurse who helped the vet perform their spay/neuter fell in love with them. It worked out perfectly for them to go to a good home.

Burning man has gone on for years. I didn't get it back then, and a coworker who never missed it explained. She said it was about the burning away of your troubles and starting a new leaf. I've seen comments about the movie Wicker Man. The movie idea came from actual human sacrifices practiced by the druids. You didn’t explain the 10 burning man principles that was the original point of the gathering of the people but most people don’t read them or abide by them making it into what it is now a “party”….I’ve been 4 times and have seen actual demons there. There is def. Evil there and evil people there but There is light there as well….the temple was a healing place for me and many others. While I basically agree with what you had to say, there is some error in the video. I'm an older Christian, who does pet sitting. One of my clients went to Burning Man, so I was monitoring the conditions. The video you showed of the burning was not from 2023. It was not done until September 4, Labor Day. You posted the video on August 30, prior to the scheduled Saturday night (9 - 2) burn. Also, dust was anything but a problem this year, as Hilary flooded the dry lake bed a week before, and there was another large rainstorm during the week. The water hatched out "dinosaur shrimp" with 3 eyes from the dried mud. You're right, but no dust devils this year!
