ONE MILLION PER CENT RIGHT MATE ! I STILL miss it every day 25 years later....Being able to stand and move around from, latterly, one side of the 1/2 Way Line to the other to see us kick in both halves at close range and before that from End to End and see the movement at Half-Time from The Ilderton to The Cold Blow. What an atmosphere we HAD . At this sanitised stadium even the ends are open to let the sound out...
The Old Den was less than a mile away. They moved to the New Den in the early 90's (92 or 93ish??). They should never leave the area, a lot of Bermondsey, Rotherhithe, New Cross, The E&C, bleed Millwall and i think it's important to say, screw the council. Remember this is Millwall, in the past there would've been riots if someone threatened to harm the club.iıu ***what actually happened with all this then?*** Hope everyone's doing good. The Old den was about 300-400m meters to the south of the current 1990s stadium, about halfway between it and New Cross gate station. As far as I know this little scheme fell over (thank the lord) when the developers turned out to be dodge and didn't do anything anyway. The last I heard is that Millwall are planning to slowly replace the 1990s stadium with a fancy new stadium of capacity ~35,000 on the same site. From the CGI images it looks like it will be a rather nifty little venue (if it happens).

Wow I actually thought the comments section would have been disabled by now 😂. I think most true football supporters saw this as a shame. There an old established club. Like them or not they do alot for this area and discovered some phenomenal players through there academy.
Love to see this sanitised, soulless, stadium with its rows of empty seats raised to the ground and a PROPER football stadium built on the very edge of London and Kent where in 2017 Millwall's largest catchment is, ironically.
