What i have learnt with my various encounter with doctors is that if a doctor doesn't agree with you and doesn't listen you then find another doctor. If at any point of treatment you feel that the doctor is just not listening leave him/her. Never take your body and health for granted.
Learned that the hard way today because they wouldn’t listen when I said I needed to wait for the second numbing shot to kick in. I felt really bad pain and they only stopped when I screamed in pain.
That’s so terrible! I had a dentist drill so deep on one of my teeth that she opened the root canal, didn’t realize, filled the cavity and sent me home. Once the numbing went away, I was in excruciating pain from the exposed nerve!!! I had to rush back, she had to open up the tooth, had to get a root canal treatment and killed a tooth with a tiny cavity. I had no pain, no issues with the tooth before. Ended up spending hours and hours and paying a ton of money to end up with a ruined tooth 😖
Apologies in taking so long in getting back to you!! 😱😱😱😱😱 NOOOOOO WAY!!!! Please tell me you complained and took it further?!! How could anyone make such a mistake like that!!..Thats even worse than mine!...I'm sorry you had to go through that, i can only imagine how painful that must have been for you! 🥺❤️ xx
So awful. Mine had cavity and needed a filling. The tooth wasnt even painful but instead the dentist removed the whole tooth. She was like there is no other way to save it...
This how I feel. Went to the dentist for a cleaning recently and then started feeling aching after they chip my tooth from scraping so hard and I went back and she filled it nowww I’m dealing with itchiness around that same tooth. I would have never went my teeth were fine until I went to the dentist. At this point I don’t trust any of them.
Dentists can get away with murder. In 2004 I was "roofied" by a dentists, woke up with the dentist talking about how she was going to destroy my teeth. She ground down all my front lower teeth and destroyed my molars so they splintered apart. All dentist I went to make things worse. In California if is a second dentist points out damage by the previous dentist the previous dentist can sue the second no matter how valid it is. I videos my latest dentist grinding down my teeth with a high speed diamond bit while telling me it's a polisher. We have to change the laws!
Tiana, you are so brave, first for publishing this video. Secondly, you are not alone, and this is more important than people might believe. Something similar to you happened to me over a year ago, and I still have PTSD. One perfectly healthy teeth premolar was also drill for no reason, put a crown, and it's been painful, now I have to get a surgery on my bone to access the root and remove the rest of it, to avoid break my teeth from the exterior. Also, I was recommended brackets to fix an slight overbite and avoid wearing away my teeth, well, terrible service at the same place, as now my bite is worst thant in the beginning, my occlusion is off, so off that I can't close my mouth and feel comfortable... It took me a year to no cry when talking about it, to understand that I have to decide be happy with this new health situation, and now to accept that I will have to pay more and more to improve my bite and feel comfortable... I have became a better person because of this, understanding that happiness comes from within even during the worst situations, but there's something in me that still carries this emotional pain of losing part of your health. People don't realise how important are teeth, we/they take them for granted sometimes, it goes beyong white perfect smiles, I rather prefer healthy, functional teeth... Wish me luck in my journey, trying to get some of my health back, physical and emotional. (at the moment I cant' chew by my left side, and my right side's oclussing is just wrong I feel my molars contacting awfully, I got removed my brackets as they were doing more damage, but I need to get them again... I prey to have the strenght, the money and the good luck to find a great dentist). Mariana, Mexico.
Hooooww. I can feel your paina little bit..🥺 mine is not serious as yours🫂🫂.... i feels so bad for last 4 months. I feels so sad and depressed and cried for a long time. You story just give me some hope to be better. I hope you will be good. I pray for god for you. Thank you so much.. 💞💞.. i wish you will be better.
I'm so sorry this has happened to you. I don't know if it's s good idea to go back to the same dentist. It took me years to find a dentist I clicked with so please search, take recommendations, read reviews and select someone that is truly willing to listen.
Oh yes yes!!!...I wasnt thinking straight because everything was so fresh, but i will never be going back there again...They've been my dental practice for over 6 years, but my actual dentist left so i ended up with someone new unfortunately 🤦🏽♀️😩💕 xx
Yeah hope she didn't go back the mess up sounds intentional base on seeing they even used dark filling drill extra deep. There seems to be an issue in finding good honest dentists, but she knows that one is Definity dishonest best take chance on someone else after research and asking around
@Tiana Peri I'm so sorry this happened to you and thank you for sharing what happened. And you are not being dramatic. Recently I had a similar experience. I went to the dentist to get a small chip on the inner corner of my front tooth filled. Well that dentist took it upon himself to shave and make deeper and wider the chip, then shaved the whole edge of my tooth off up to where to tooth had originally chipped off at(there was no point in filling the chip if he was just gonna shave my tooth off to where the tooth was chipped off at), then he shaved the sides of my tooth off and the surface of my tooth! He reshaped my whole tooth without my consent! He left me with a smaller shorter square shaped tooth, that is now thinner and sensitive and visibly smaller. Like you I have a big smile and smile and laugh a lot and now I no longer smile or laugh. I'm so sad about my tooth and emberassed. It's hard mentally and emotionally when something is changed cosmetically without our consent. In this case our teeth, our smile. I hope you found a dentist that can help you. And maybe you already did give an update, but did you find a dentist that can rectify what this dentist did?
❤️❤️❤️ - they're investigating what has happened and will be coming back to me within the next few weeks..I am definitely never stepping foot in there again!! Thank you so much for the reassurance, they made me feel like i was going mad 🥰💕 x
Not for dentist. For a bad dentist.. i met a dentist(she has no ethics she have no desire to have the name dentist) who ruined my tooth so bad🥺.. i feels so bad. I feels like having a sad days for a whole time. But i think a good dentist do good this.. but now i think the good dentist are so small in amount🥺🥺💔
Girl. I went to a dentist, and the woman filed down 2 teeth in the back in addition to the one I wanted filed down. I didn’t go back. A couple years later I went to another dentist, for a sharp piece to be filed down, different tooth… he filed down that one and another one in front of it. I had a panic attack. Months later… I went to the same office, diff dentist, and had it built up… then he built up another one IN FRONT OF THAT… mind you this is 4 teeth so far worked on without my consent. When I went to a diff dentist months later to get that extra built up one filed down, they filed down another of my bottom teeth… yes without my consent. Now there are 5 teeth worked on, 4 different dentists, all without my consent. I don’t have the words to express how traumatized I am. I know your pain.
This happened to me as well. I went to a dentist who completely destroyed most of my teeth- deliberately that I'm having a hard time getting anyone to believe me. I have a long story, like yours, no mirror, no info, my entire face was numbed. This is so horrific that I can hardly believe it.
I believe you!!!...Its funny because someone had left a comment saying 'how didn't you know which teeth they were drilling' so you're not the only one who people don't believe...I've been questioned too...You never think something like this would ever happen, until it does...I'm so sorry 😩🤍 xx
Dentist here, and I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. That being said, I would very strongly advise against replacing the fillings. Silver fillings are by far the best choice for your premolars. If you replace them, the dentist will have to fill away more of the healthy tooth structure. This will make your teeth weaker. And to make matters worse, the white composite/plastic fillings do no last as long, they increase the risk of you getting more cavities and/or gum disease as bacteria grows really well on them, increase the risk of those teeth needing root canal treatment, or cracking. I would stick with silver fillings now that the damage has been done, and your teeth have already been drilled. The alternative is just so much worse.
You're breaking my heart 😱😩... Someone suggested crowns? 👀...It honestly would't be a big deal if they weren't so close to the front, but they are, and i have the BIGGEST smile/mouth which means people will see it when i talk 🤦🏽♀️ - thank you for your advice none the less, its going to be something i really need to think about....💕 xx
@@TianaPeri Crowns would basically mean drilling away a lot of your teeth, and all the enamel on them. That would really be to destroy them. With silver fillings they will stay healthy for very many years to come. I really wouldn't mess with them anymore now... Really hope you can come to terms with having them, as they really are the best solution for your teeth now that they have been drilled.
Hi Tiana, I'm sorry this happened to you! You are not be dramatic at all!!!!! Teeth are precious and they don't grow back... I would advise you get another dentist even if you have to pay out of pocket. I would not trust them anymore! I hope you feel better!!!
Thank you so much for the reassurance and apologies in taking so long in getting back to you!!..I will definitely be going to a totally different dentist going forward, i think because everything was so fresh i was still processing things in my head...🥰💕 xxx
My dentist was meant to do edge bonding for a little part of my front tooth that had fallen off when I bit my nail. She bonded the whole 4 front teeth. This was on march 1st and so wish I could go back and never have it done…I had the bonding taken off and she shaved down 1/4 of my 2 front teeth…it looks ridiculous. My teeth are all misaligned still. Mentally I’ve had panic attacks every day, severe anxiety and real self hatred for why the hell I had this done. She was a horrible dentist.
I had a similar experience I was in a mental state of mind hormonal anxiety and went back to get my bonding adjusted and she thought I meant I hated it because i wasnt happy. So she removed my bonding and took some length off my front teeth. I am mortified. I was already suffering from anxiety now I can't even look at myself I feel so ugly and my teeth are so thin now. Did you get your teeth fixed? how did you handle it?
Hey Folks, just want to say I know how you feel, and I hope things get better for you , A similar thing happened to me where the dentist damaged my two front teeth for no reason.
@@lanac1636 I’m so sorry something similar happened to you, it’s a total mind f**k. Well it’s been just over a year since I had it done and I’m finding it hard because I know it happened this time last year. I’m still not happy with my teeth but at least I’m not having panic attacks every single moment of every day. My bite is very off still but I’m too scared to have any more work done to be honest. I’m just hoping as time goes by the rest of the filling on my lateral just grinds away itself.
What a horrible and shocking mistake and the nerve they have to than put it all on you. Totally Unacceptable! Very understandable you’re upset! I wouldn’t go to the same dentist. Sending love and hope it all get fixed. X
I know right!?!...How much easier things would have been if she just put her hands up and apologised for her mistake as opposed to lie and make up a whole story ❤️ Thank you so much, and believe me, maybe it was still too fresh for me to realise and make decisions BUT, i will never step foot in that practice ever again!!... 🥰💕 xxx
They never apologize because they know if they do, they are admitting fault. Did you ever step foot back into that dentist office...or did you just take the lose and not get a lawyer and sue?@@TianaPeri
I sympathize with you so much on this. I recently had a few trips to "fix" my teeth between a couple dentists. The first one pulled a tooth completely from the top that he admitted multiple times during the numbing/gassing phase that he doesn't know if he should pull since my sinuses were so close to it and that it probably needed an oral surgeon to be safe, but then decided randomly to pull it. He damaged my sinuses somehow, and I've had non-stop issues with my sinuses since then every single day. Went to another dentist to finish up the work my mouth needed (a regular cavity and a couple tiny ones) and like...I don't know WHAT they did, but I can no longer chew almost anything on my right side without pain/sensitivity/feeling like the tooth will break from pressure. He "fixed" it when I came back with pain from the procedure by "sanding it" and "Applying sensitivity cream" which naturally it just went back to feeling fragile and sensitive after it wore off. It's been months and they're still treating me like I'm making it up. My mouth felt like it was in better condition WITH the cavities. It's so disheartening.
Omg! I’d raise he!! Don’t apologize for being emotional, you have every right to be. I’m so sorry. She’s out of order for blaming you. I’d for sure get a lawyer.
🤦🏽♀️ I guess thats always been my biggest problem in life i'm 'too nice and polite' as my lovely friends love telling me, Hopefully they do the right thing and i won't have to get a lawyer, because this is the one time i refuse to back down🤞🏽💕 xx
I’d be so pissed bc teeth don’t grow back. It’s over. I would sue them if you can. shaking with so much anger is understandable. It’s the same as amputating the wrong foot and it doesn’t grow again
I know right?!!!!!...Its the fact that the second opinion dentist came down and was like 'it's only your back teeth' - as if i'm crazy and being over dramatic!!...Terrible terrible people!! But thank you for making me feel like i'm not crazy for feeling the way i do, and apologies for the very late reply 🥰💕 xx
@@TianaPeri ONLY! seems like shady dentist are connect did you ever find a decent on have an issue myself starting with one F up a tooth that likely had an issue unable had another try to patch up mounth later see the rot on top of that tryed a 3rd because I no longer could eat on one side from F up had a tooth I couldn't eat on due to chipped and to weack but I avoided for many years do to good dentist rare but was left with no choice due to not being able to eat and number 3 did the crown wrong drilled the crap out of tooth preparing it leaft gap were things getting stuck under plus the fact he slice the gum. what should I do being that both teeth still fixing now to theeth that didn't cause and issue before to scare now waiting is dangerous but so is picking wrong dentists not to mention I spent likely over 6,000 on mistakes and almost out of money due to not working since pandemic. One-person mention doing consultations I believe that is about 200 not sure how many I would need to find a place I feel safe with on top of trying to figure out how to get a loan for the journey of wasting cash on specking to hundreds to find a decent one. I already know fixing a crown around 3000. The other maybe about 1000 yet still first need to blow a ton on searching while no insurance or job AHHHHHHHH really could use help if anyone can just name a few safe dentists
I am so sorry to hear that! I am not sure what the process is in your country but in America we sign off on a treatment plan before any treatment is started. In order to prove that the dentist intentionally messed up by filling the wrong teeth, you would need a copy of the xrays before they were filled and the treatment plan that was mutually agreed upon. That would help your case. On the plus side, I honestly do not think your new silver fillings look that bad. If you keep from chewing hard things like ice and just keep on polishing them they will last you a lifetime. Thats the one advantage of silver fillings if you do not chew on them regularly! I hope this helps!
No that is bad when her teeth were perfect before not to mention the sliver has mercy that leaks into body drinking eating beverages leads to build up of deposit in brain that can cause dementia. Maybe you being nice true strangers aren't really going to see that, but she still will she will be reminded of the trauma of perfectly good teethe being destroyed for no good reason
Sorry that happened to you. I had a terrible experience at my dentist today too. I just had them fuck up my numbing shot today, they were running pretty late it seemed, they waited forever for the first numbing shot, and it did nothing. Then I had a second numbing shot, it finally started doing something, I asked to wait longer because I could still feel my cheek and tongue, but they wanted to rush, they seemed to want to do my fillings quickly because they were behind (keep in mind I had 4 cavities and they were gonna do 2-4 when they had told me before that they’d just do 2) and the second they start “rinsing” right before drilling, I feel excruciating pain and have to scream and moan to get them to stop. After they immediately took out the tongue guard I am crying and they seem to just want to shut me up and send me home. I will never ever go there again and I have a feeling that they messed up like this before and that’s why I was afraid of getting cavities filled when I was younger and just forgot. I feel so betrayed.
i'm here because a dentist butchered my teeth too, i am crying and shaking just absolutely furious. dental is so costy and to have to pay again for someones mistakes
@@TianaPeri Yep people in power position tend to be protected against corruption at least get the world out if enough report the same dentist for negligence there is a small chance, they will be removed mess up many need to be harmed to stop things like this, but silence adds to bigger number of people facing same fate. Make sure to post a review could save a few
Atleast i am not alone in this bad dentist do wrong stuffs🥺.. i went to a dentist for placing crown. Since the crown has so much high points instead of remaking the the ctown she just reduced my opposite tooth without informingme... like she reduce my opposite cusp to flat. I hate this now. Now I can't chew easily on that side.. i hate this.. it spoils my food.. i can't chew easily it so hard to chew with the reduced flat teeth of my first molar...
🥰🥰 Fingers crossed they honour what i asked for otherwise i'm guessing this would be a very lengthy case...😩 The UK system can be a tad ridiculous at times ❤️ xx
Oh Tiana I’m so sorry this happened to you! You have every right to be frustrated and upset! I would be equally if not more. I would of rather her just omg I’ve made a huge mistake vs the cover up. Really feeling for you xx
I SENSED A HOLE THEN SAW YOUR VIDEO, OBVIOUS THE EPIPHANY COMING TO FRUITION TO AMAZINGLY STUMBLE UPON YOUR VIDEO. MY UPPER LEFT BACK MOLAR HAD A FILLING HE PUT IN THAT CAME OUT. NO WONDER THE PAIN.
Know the feeling. I pointed a finger at the corner of an incisor in an annual checkup. The dentist didn't ask why, and instead immediately cut the corner off the tooth. Did the same to the next incisor, and then ground the teeth thin, flat and painfully sharp. And he cut the tip off of one of the teeth, making it significantly shorter than the other incisor. Completely butchered my teeth doing unrequested, unwanted and unneeded work. The teeth shred my mouth constantly, and work by other dentists to try to fix the teeth made them shorter. A complete nightmare.
I have braces now. What happened to you.. if you tell me some thinks to check and inspect i can prevent those from your lesson. Pls give me some advice..
Go to a good ortho and then at the end of the treatment they’ll probably do a thing called enameloplasty which could cause sensitivity. So do some research and let your ortho know before hand. And don’t let your dentist do anything to your teeth except your ortho
I'm sorry , Tiana. Unfortunately this is one of those life lessons: being confrontational has it place. Go with your intuition and don't be pleasant and trying to bother anyone. And change dentist. Good luck
😂 Over here you choose between white and silver, the cheaper option is silver (i'm a cheap skate lol) and because i thought she was filling teeth that are at the back of my mouth i opted for silver because you wont be able to see them....But she decided to choose her own teeth to fill which means you can see it now 😂 - they will get replaced either way now, i just need to figure out what the best thing to do is, whether to get a crown or white filling 💕 xx
No need to be apologizing for what happened to you. I’m sorry for it happening. I know that I would have been screaming and crying in that dentist office. It’s not ok for her to be saying one thing and then say something else when she filled the wrong teeth. I would definitely find another dentist because I would not to go back there after messing up.
Thank you so much for the reassurance and apologies in taking so long in getting back to you 🥺... I know right??!...I think i'd be a little less upset if she owned up and apologised rather than make it seem like i'm crazy and she did tell me what was what..But the facts of the matter is she didn't...And i will definitely be finding a new dentist FOR SURE 🥰💕 xx
Fingers crossed!!...Once i hear back from them i'll start looking for a dentist to go through my options, but i agree, i do think it might need to be a crown because any further drilling would definitely cause more damage that just filling wouldn't be able to rectify alone 💕 xx
Oh Tiana, this is such an awful situation. I'm sorry this has happened. If it's any consolation at all I couldn't see them whilst you were talking - however yes you do have an enormous (beautiful!) smile so the amalgum fillings will darken with age and likely be visible. In terms of fixing this, could you get a private dentist to drill out the amalgum and refill with teeth coloured filling? Not ideal but it could give you back your confidence in at least the short term. I'm not sure if this was an NHS dentist or if you originally went private but either way they have a duty of care and it feels like something definitely went awry here. Or, and it's a big or, maybe now is the time to consider veneers? They're expensive and require upkeep, but if I remember correctly you have another video where you mentioned your teeth and their organisation at the front of your mouth. If you're going to be maintaining these 2 unexpected fillings for the rest of your life then why not go the whole hog and get them designed exactly how you want them. It's just a thought. But remember that somebody else's mistake does not invalidate your beauty, your amazing personality or you personal success. xx
🥺😞 Isn't it just?!..I think whats most upsetting is the fact she's lying about everything. I've sent a formal complaint over to them with a detailed description of what happened as well my requests going forward. Whats great about this whole thing is i have pictures as well as the x-rays of my teeth before she filled them because i was enquiring about braces with the orthodontist, so if they do come back and say we're not honouring anything then the only thing left is to take it further legally. As for veneers, are they the ones that file your own teeth down to little pegs?...👀 I'll more than likely either get a crown on the left hand side and white filling on the right because that side isn't as deep as the left, but these are all assumptions, and me taking in what everyone else online is recommending, i need to actually find a new dentist to see me first so we can discuss what can be done 😅 Thank you ever so much for your kind, kind words 🥹💕 xx
@@TianaPeri Veneers file down less tooth than crown. But a crown if done right has a better seal. Know an old man that got a mix of crowns and veneer while younger all the ones that had veneers rotten and fell out crown still in place and believe all was done by same dentist so if I was to go by sample guy crowns seem to hold better but they do shave the tooth to nothing meaning if not done correct no tooth left for do over
Yes, yes!!...Most definitely never!!!!...I wasn't in the right frame of mind when i agreed to the appointment, i've made a formal complaint so i'm waiting to hear back from them 💕 xx
Idk im a dude and im still really embarrassed about what happen tho i was at max like 13 my teeth really didnt need braces i needed jaw surgery anyway the ortho kept me in 4 braces for like 2 years and most of it was my fault and i didnt take care of myself like i should have and i wqs crying and saying to the ortho you made my teeth loose but i mostly think it was my moms fault for wanting me in braces like the other kids and idk
They mutilated my mouth and im so destroyed.. i want to disappear..i cant eat.. god help me! There is no legal way to force them to fix it. He pulled my tooth against my will. Help me God!!!
Not a pointless video at all. I would ask them to release your records from the first visit. They sometimes put the recommendations on there. Not sure if they'll go back and edit it though. My body would be shaking from the anger (think it's because it's a sort of injustice that you can't reverse or control).
So i've got all the records now, they're currently 'investigating' and i've made my requests that include them paying for whatever treatment i decide to go with from a totally different practice, i hope they honour it because she really did mess up, and things didn't need to be so horrible if she'd just been apologetic about the fact she messed up as opposed to gaslight me 😩...Oh well, you live and you learn 🥰💕 xx
Don't be sorry, I'd be out of my mind too! Plus, who in the heck uses silver anymore! Silver fillings are a mixture of liquid (elemental) mercury and a powdered alloy made up of silver, tin and copper. Even tho they say the mercury is safe I had every bit of it removed from my mouth and replaced with white fillings as an adult. She sounds like a quack. I'd consider a lawsuit. I'm so very sorry.
Thank you so much for the reassurance and apologies in taking so long in getting back to you lovely!..So long story short, i've sent a detailed formal complaint over with my requests going forward included...Hopefully they give me what i want and i can start looking for the best dentist to sort my teeth out 🥺💕 xx
This was true years ago. I know because I'm from the poorest state in the US. I'm from MS, a former recipient of Medicad and I have a mouth full of it to know. However most dentist don't use the stuff anymore and if you have a choice why use that dentist because it has been found that it is bad for your teeth in the long run. My point being its not the best for your teeth and she obviously has the means@@bunnyboo6295
@@TianaPeri just inadvertent cues when you said "hole" I had felt there has got to be a hole still even though the tooth was filled causing me severe pain.. Sure enough I was right. Your video I stumbled on just resonated with my gut instinct.
They're in the process of 'investigating' what has happened and will be coming back to me within the next few weeks...When i had spoken to the dentist she lied and said she told me what teeth she was filling and that there were cavities, so speaking to her was pointless because she had me questioning my sanity for a moment 😂🤦🏽♀️💕x

Sorry this has happened to you but why are you going back to this place that clearly doesn’t know what they are doing and cannot be trusted. I would go to an alternative dentist which is highly recommended to have the original issue looked into as well as the now drilling down of teeth that didn’t need filling’s. Hopefully you can also get some compensation and an apology from the cowboy dentist. I hope the drilled down teeth don’t cause you any long term issue’s 🙏🏽❤️
🥰 Ohhh believe me i'm most definitely not going back to them!!..Because everything was so fresh i wasn't in the right frame of mind. I've written a formal complaint with my requests going forward so hopefully they honour it and i can start looking for a good dentist to fix what they damaged 🥰💕xx

I think you should replace them with white fillings and get your xrays for a second opinion. That sucks that it happened but I feel it was out of your control. I'm so sorry for your experience.
I will definitely be looking at white fillings, some people suggested crowns, but i'm waiting to hear back from them before i start looking at other dentists to fix what they've damaged - sorry for taking a while to get back to you 🥰💕 xx
I would definitely stick with silver fillings. Your dental health will benefit greatly from it. To place crowns, your dentist would have to drop down your teeth a lot, and that would cause extensive irreversible damage, far more than these fillings have caused.
That isn't always the best ideas sliver has mercery drill it out you will shallow and breath in the fumes. not to mention it seems one is deep meaning root canal crowns that come with other risks. If she goes that route you need to Reserarch and find a dentist the dose the right safety precautions also with the high amount bad dentist she is opening up to more risk, she should follow her instinct we are the ones to know are bodies best. sliver filling comes with releasing small amount of toxins into body depending on things like temp of drinks. A healthy body can cleanse itself with small doses of toxins at a time
crying about my own dental issues and found your channel. I had a dentist drill the SIDE of my tooth, like the wall...without telling me. He just said there was a cavity in this tooth. Now the filling feels like plastic and i cant even chew ice. The first time the filling fell out because its such an odd place to place a cavity. It was so deep and felt scary. I had it refilled for $200 and now its really bothering me....i cant even chew down on it. Im so sad. I wish I hadnt trusted the dentist.
I'm so sorry....I can't chew on ice anymore the way i used to either 😞... All you can do is put in a formal complaint and i guess say you want compensation. But unfortunately no matter how much money they give you, your tooth won't be fixed, and thats the bothersome part no matter how much money they give you. Sorry you've had a horrible experience 🥺🤍 xx
@@TianaPeri What happened with your teeth? Are you doing better? Im still mad about the holes in my teeth. I think I am slowly learning to accept it somehow. But its not easy. I wish these dentists would give us an apology. 🙁💙💙
OMG I get anxiety with teeth and when I was 18 the dentist took a piss giving me some unnecessary silver filings. Anyhow 20 years later I restored them with best quality white (close to your colour) fillings. I hope this dentist of yours didn’t drill to the nerve which may lead to a root canal. Please go to another dentist and sue her ass. I wouldn’t advice you go back to her, trust me I am obsessed with teeth and I believe everything you say. Btw X-ray shows it all, woman needs to be sued. In regards to the white fillings please call them and ask white filling (name) and let me know and I can guide you. Sorry hun I wish I could give you a hug and please rang more.
Hello lovely...Sorry for taking a tad longer than i usually do to get back to you!...Its definitely safe from the nerve so far, but i am worried that when the silver fillings get removed that they'll end up going even deeper 😱😩 - I definitely won't be going back to them, i've made a formal complaint with my requests in it so hopefully they honour that. Once thats sorted with them i will then find a much better dentist to get the problem fixed. Some people even suggested crowns...But we'll see what happens...Thank you so much for your support 🥺💕 xx
Dentist here… the incorrect filling was done on the opposite side of your lower arch big mistake. However, administering anesthesia/ a numbing agent is standard prior to starting the procedure. How were you not able to tell her she was numbing the wrong tooth/ side prior to starting? We usually event wait five minutes for it to kick in and ask to patient if they feel numb on that side. Even after the filling is done we do a bite check to make sure you can chew your food as you normally would. Sorry this happened to you, it just seems like it could have been avoided all together and you should have definitely realized it was the wrong tooth before leaving the chair and not when you were in your car.
Both sides were meant to be filled according to her, but the teeth which were giving me issues were not those nor was there anything wrong with them. She drilled and filled the wrong teeth not 'tooth' and i didn't see my teeth until i got to my car so i have no idea how i would have known otherwise. Anyway they accepted the fact they messed up and didn't follow procedure.
