Also slight correction on wowmao saying that the rich areas are where all the gay people are, there's DEFINITELY as much if not more gays in the countryside and rural areas; there was even a joke on twitter a while back about gay kids in the filipino and thai countryside having a decades long slayoff LMAO. Also fun fact: the term we use for gay, “bakla” originally was a third gender which meant a man assigned at birth who identifies as a woman and they were highly respected prior to Catholic and Islamic influence. This is opposed to the generally more "scientific" theories aspoused by Italians etc.. Hindutva race science is almost a carbon copy of esoteric Nazi race science (Anthroposophy), except it has this very British class racial character in the form of the cast system. I believe Hindutva founders also believed the Hindus to be descendants of Aryan settlers, don't know what their current consensus is though.

I'll try to explain it in straightforward terms, the Brahmins wrote the Sanadhan Dharma to impose their power on the rest of the people of India. In this Canadian dharma, you have the varna system, which groups castes under the four varnas. The upper caste was the Brahmins who wrote the ideology in the first place. These were the people who could speak to god, and they were above the kings. And the power the Brahmins hold today is not something new. Historically, the Brahmins were pushing for the fall of Buddhism in India by propping up kings who liked the idea of Sanadhan dharma because it gave them a natural slave class called the Sudras, the lowest caste in the varna system. The Brahmin-backed kings overthrew the Buddhist regime, an egalitarian movement against the earliest version of Hindutva. So, the subjects of the failed states, who had no other option but to accept the rule of Canadian dharma, became the Sudras. But then you had a lot of communities around India who fought the Brahminic hegemony, and all these people, even after failing, did not accept the Brahminic ideology; these were the ones who became the Dalits or the untouchables. So the Brahmins decided to sanction the Dalits; technically, they didn't even become Hindu until I think the British regulated the Hindu Religion. Once again, there was no such religion as Hinduism itself until the Britishers regulated it for their administration purposes. There were several different religions which were forced and coopted into Hinduism, with Brahminism on the top. This is Hindutva. So, Why did the Hindutva and colonial states have friendly relationships? The Hindutva faction has always been historically in power in the Indian subcontinent. Before the rules of the Sultans and Mughals, they propped up the Hindu empires, which destroyed Buddhism. In turn, this king agreed to make the Brahmins the most powerful caste in the society, which they became. Eventually, kings were defeated and dominated by the Muslim empires, which ruled India until the British. Only the Hindu kings were forced to lose, but the Brahmins remained in power with the Mughals. The Mughals saw them as a useful tool to manage the various kingdoms under the Muslims. Use see the sultanate or the Mughals did'nt rule directly; they made the kings vassal states and a lot of these vassal states were united by the Brahminic hegemony, so the Mughals used to their advantage to manage their vassals. So, these Brahmins or Hindus today complain about Islam, but when they were actual Islamic empires on the land, they sided with power and betrayed several kings that they backed. So eventually, the Mughals lost power to the Europeans; once the Europeans took over India as a colony, they needed educated local people to manage and exploit their colony. You know, the ones who can read or write are not even the Hindu kings; they are the Brahmins. According to the Varna system, brahmins were the only ones who were allowed to be educated, and the rest of the country was highly illiterate. Some communities found education, but I could explain it in a different conversation. Also, today, the BJP government employs schemes in a way to deter education to the masses because it's their ideology, and they have practised forever; so coming back, the British used the Brahmins to exploit the Indian subcontinent, so during the entire colonial rule, the people who supported the colonial state where the brahmins or the indurates. For example, the modern-day Hindutva idealogy was formulated in the 1920s, and the person Savarkar who founded the idealogy was a British stooge. He got a militia funded by the British to fight Subash Chandra Bose, the Indian freedom fighter who raised an army to fight the British. The hardcore Hindus never wanted a secualr independent India, so they preferred being under the British where they could maintain their ruthless caste system. But the liberal Brahmins wanted a secular state, and that's where Hinduism ended up taking a back seat until the 1990s. So, India gained independence. So, did things change? No, the people who formed the bulk of the Congress party were Hindutva sympathizers. Despite INC being a liberal and secular organization, since they were not fighting Hindutva ideologically, they let it grow inside the party like cancer, which has caused their downfall in India. Since India was led by liberals who practised socialist economic policies, the Hinduvaites had to be more clandestine and formed a bureaucratic capitalist class. But the fall of the soviet union and countries like India adopting neoliberalism gave freedom for a lot of the Hindutvaites to use their caste hegemony to gain more wealth and power and get back to mainstream politics through the BJP. See, what I am saying is India is an apartheid state under the caste system employed by Hinduvaites, during the Hindu empires, Muslim empires, and British empires, until now. The Hindutavaites wanted solidly their apartheid state through bjp against the Muslims, Dalits, Christians, indigenous tribes, and sudras who are resisting Hindutva and the national, ethnic minorities. So, the indurates are not victims; they are oppressors and have always been. I am open. to explain parts of my explanation. in detail since I just gave an overview. other situation. I am Tamil.
