I'm an anti-social mild observer of humanity at large. And I've enjoyed a few of your reactions so far, but I have to say, the opening of this one... _before_ the movie started, just your intro and banter parts..... were at top form. Seriously.... you guys *NAILED* how to open a video with this one. Not that you guys were bad before or anything... but the edits, quick cuts to alternate angles, timing, and the odd random, *BUT REAL* , human bit of "Am I not going to like caves after this? ... Do you _Like_ caves now?" tangent, was gold. It was a perfect blend of "Obviously real people just being real" and "People experienced and smooth at their work". And It really doesn't come off as "Commercial" when you guys ask for the like/subscribe/comment part. So in short, I'm loving seeing you guys really coming into your own with this, just don't lose that down home good neighbor sense as you guys get better and better at "Putting on the show". *Also,* love the capturing of honest *genuine* reactions... but goddamn... you have just filmed one of, if not *_THE_* Best jump scare reaction for movies. This, Dog Soldiers and Severance are three of my favourites. If you've not already seen it, Severance is a dark (very dark) comedy-horror about a group of office workers on a team-building weekend in the woods. The company they work for has rented a large (practically ruined) old hotel in an Eastern European forest (I don't think the actual country is named but I _think_ it's meant to be post-war Bosnia) and arranged a series of exercises designed to bond and develop teamwork within the workers. However, all is not as it seems and things go very, very wrong. Highly recommended viewing with lots of jumps, gore and laugh-out-loud moments. Also, I don't think there are any reactions to it already on YT. Anyway, loved this vid - was laughing my ass off start-to-finish!

I've always considered spelunkers and free divers as people determined to get themselves yeeted out of the gene pool. You can add mountaineering and free climbing to the list as well. Life is difficult enough without looking for ways to die. 💀

Don't forget parkour many stories up, rail walking etc & even riding a darn bike on a rail... all while hundreds of feet up. These people are nuts!!!

This film might be the beginning of an adult-onset fear of the dark, for some viewers... It was pretty impressive in its gruesomeness.

Really good low budget film. They used a lot of the same set pieces for the cave walls and just rearranged them to give a different setting.

I've seen this film a handful of times since the original release and that mid scream gurgling throat bite at 17:38 will probably haunt me for the rest of my days. Good stuff.

I didn't realize how much House of Ashes took from this movie but it definitely makes sense why some of the scenes in the game felt so familiar.

Actually the sequel is about if Sarah got out of the cave and she and some spelunkers going into the cave to recover her friends! The thing is, the US version actually cuts off right after Sarah sees Juno's ghost in the truck. I think the implication is just supposed to be that she is haunted for life, but really, it doesn't make much sense without the rest of the ending (the constant hallucinations of Jessica also don't have any pay off without it). It was cut there for the US release just so they could make a sequel. I only found out there was an alternate ending to the version I watched (Tubi) because I came out of it feeling somewhat confused and read about the alt ending on the Wiki.

Remember that episode of the X Files where Mulder and Scully were just trippin on shrooms the whole time? I think that takes place underground too, at least partially.

This was the alternate version. In the original, Sara does make it out of the cave. When Sara sees Juno in the Bronco after the 18 wheeler passes her, the screen cut to black.

I think it’s pronounced like ‘throw an apple atcha(n)’, according to Karen and Georgia in the MFM podcast when they did a live show the audience shouted it at them.

I think the small monitor should be called "the angry monitor". I knew a rock climber. They are kind of crazy but cavers are crazier than they are. He stopped doing it when he took a fall and broke his ankle so bad his foot touched his leg. His Dr told him it was like a bomb went off in his ankle. He got an external fixator for awhile and a good number of pins for about a year. Then he took up sea kayaking.

Love this movie and this channel. Jump scares are great. A truly great jump scare occurs in the Exorcist III. This movie is A much scarier version of a slightly different movie, but sort of the same concept of a movie called The Cave (2005.... I think). I kinda reminds me of an underground version of a movie called Wrong Turn as well. Great stuff, y'all! 👏👍

I love horror/thrillers but I thought this was going to be a cheap cliched horror movie so watched it hungover one Sunday. I had sweaty palms, racing heart, taking deep breaths. It was incredible and gave me that horror movie rush I hadn’t had in so long.

My girlfriend at the time held my arm and sobbed the entire movie. She was terrified. The premise of possibly being trapped, lost, and dying in a fuccin cave is enough, but to add gotdamm monsters to the mix. Damn!
