I feel like I got a full $70 experience out of FF7 Rebirth. Took me like 140 hours to beat, most of which I very much enjoyed. Most. There were some rough spots, but overall a great game. It's the only AAA series I have any hope for ATM.

They literally told us to Downvote the game to hell and are making a free in game item to commemerate the debachle to boot..

Yeah he basically had a small team. Like a tinyyyy team. He did like 90% of the work tho. He made the game, programmed it, etc.. But had help with all the artwork and a bunch of character designs. Photoshop Flowey was straight up made by someone else too. The assets anyways.

To be fair, Todd Howard is also "one guy with help".

I've had this same problem last week brother, a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to try it out and I agreed. Instead what I did was waste 45 minutes trying to log in the game. We had a total of two okayish matches and I went "nah, I'm not playing this again." because the game crashed on me 3 times. I was confused why this game is still running poorly on medium when I could run cyberpunk on high settings without problems whatsoever.

The Sony Sisters on X were something else, pure victim-blaming, projection and bootlicking before making petitions to ban Sony from making games on PC because they were so MAD that PC gamers got them to reverse their decision (for now).

The only redeeming quality is that the game is actually really good and on gamepass day 1

Yeah the formula is a much more fun pokemon game for sure. Performance and bugs are the real problem, which might also be an issue on the switch as a console

​@@OriOriOhGI do wonder if I upgraded to a OLED would it run faster and smoother. Because I notice that on the family switch (which is a launch model) it chugs in certain areas, but my switch lite runs better in those areas.

The original S.Squad comic series (which lasted 66 issues from 1987 till 1992 and was written by writer John Ostrander) was actually really great and was very profitable for a good long while. Sales declined drastically by mid 1991 into 1992, but that had more to do with how at the time there was a huge "comics boom" resulting in TONS of new comics (and many new comic companies) coming out at the time and the series got lost in the shuffle, but it was still very good. The 2016 to 2019 comic series that lasted 50 issues and was written by someone else was pretty good at first. But it starts to get pretty bad later on. All the other S.Squad series aren't very good. The main problem with a lot of the other series is they eventually try to emulate what John Ostrander did with the original series, but they never come close to matching the writing quality of that original series.

​@@stevebohn4439 That's what my husband says, he's played thru all the various endings/styles but I'm still pissy about what they did. I confess, when it comes to things like this, I'm a petty petty wench. I had been waiting for that game for a LONG time and it was just unplayable. (Also felt like crap for the poor programmers and designers, it wasn't their fault the company was so stupid) I'll eventually give it a look, but the first bug, the first stumble and I swear I'm deleting if from my Steam account and rage quitting. I've just got such a stack/backlog of excellent indies I've bought it will be awhile until I look at it again. In the last perhaps 15 games (Look, I got sick over covid, had to have surgery, got stuck on my assets for 2 years so I played a STUPID amount of games for a STUPID amount of time. So I bought so many it's actually embarrassing🙄🙄.) I've bought, most are early access and they STILL play better than a ton of "AAA" games. I've had exactly 2 that pissed me off about the crap they pulled - but indie EA, you place your bets, you spin the wheel. And even those were playable before they got abandoned and with each under $15.... 10 hours of workable play on each, I got my money's worth. It's just shocking what the big companies are doing. I've got a game I've sunk literally 100's of hours (see "stuck on butt for 2 years" as an excuse please) and it was made by a total of 2 people. Who update still now it's released routinely. And they added new things to the EA almost every three weeks or so for a couple ~years~. AAA have HOW many people? Gah, crazy making. (Gee, can you tell I'm still a bit annoyed? Sorry 'bout that. Been a bit of a day and I think I am cranky. Perhaps a good time to take a nap and listen to the rain.)

The indies aren't really any better. There's literal thousands of shitty indie games coming out every week across all platforms. The fact that a small handful a year pop out that are decent isn't indicative of a revolution.

I won't say revolution as it either falls in 3 categories not good Meh And this will pop off Sad part is only a handful of big marshmallows are allowed to pop off and with this pop off comes terrible publisher's who will rear their heads and screw over the creative vision also a toxic fan base

I'm personally pretty anxious of how Gen 10 is gonna turn out in comparison to Sc&Vi. The way I see it it'll either be just the turning point we've been needing, taking everything established from its predecessors to become something genuinely good or the boiling point that will further exacerbate all of the series's current problems, further dividing the fanbase and sending them into a frenzy. No inbetween. I pray for the former but must expect the latter... Let's hope Legends Z-A delivers at least.

@@RJS2003 See now, Legends Z-A is what I'm worried for. A regular pokemon game doesn't have to change much, but Legends was the actual FIRST attempt to do something different and had ideas that sadly didn't transfer to other games. So here's hoping Z-A will be JUST as good if not better than Legends Arceus.

@@zacharybartolo5111 My theory is that by the time the PLA devs made stuff like the catching mechanics, avoiding the hostile pokémon on the overworld and other QOL features the devs of Sc&Vi were already too far along in setting the foundation for the game's mechanics to majorly change anything. Pokémon's biggest problem right now is everything being on such a tight deadline afterall. My hope with Legends Z-A is that they don't repeat the same mistake. They for sure already know how much people loved PLA so now they can work off that from the start and keep expanding on that base. I'm cautiously hyped for Legends Z-A, I hope it's awesome too! For real though, if Gen 10 doesn't have PLA's catching mechanics or even a teeny little smidge of real voice acting I might just _lose it._
