The Despenser War (Also known as The Glamorgan War)  

In the early 1300s a short but brutal war ripped through south Wales and parts of England. The trigger was a dispute over land in Glamorganshire. The man whose name was given to the war, Hugh le Despenser, was an avaricious and cruel noble. This is the story of that conflict.
