Very entertaining & informative, Luke. For me 'Iron fallout remover' probably (other than wax or sealant) can be an expensive product, so using sparingly (or correctly) is bang on! Engine bays - being a Technician, aswell as a Detailer, I do hold my breath when I see engine bay cleaning....I recently had to change an ABS ECU on a Astra G, due to an overzealous detailed engine clean done by an 'approved detailer' - now on the Astra under the coolant bottle sits the ABS ECU, which was flooded, corroded and eng man light on, abs light on, no speedo........basicly kerknackered. £1600 main dealer fix, fortunately I sourced a recon unit, fitted etc for a lot less. So IF you must use a power washer, lowest setting, cover as much electrical units with a glove or bag and be brief with water flow. It is the water pressure that will force through the rubber covers. Your way shown gets a thumbs up from me, takes time, but works. Like the fallout remover, too many glossy social media shots on engine bays too! Autoglanz do a good video on engine bay clean on YT. Oh dear, my comments are getting as long as these vids!!!! But seriously I'm glad that your covering these types of issues - well done, mate.
Yeah hopefully I've shown that you don't need to drench your bay. Id agree when people say they're more shielded than in the past however they are not submarines.😂
Welcome to the first of many Team TBD giveaways! To take part you must be UK based and in a position to post a review of what I send to you on Facebook, Instagram or both. To enter simply tell me in reply to this post, how many times i used a widescreen style shot in the video (black border top and bottom of the screen) Good luck to all, this will be closed after the first twenty correct answers and the winners contacted shortly thereafter. EDIT*** Maybe i was optimistic at this early stage to have twenty entries. I've picked the winners a little bit earlier than i said. Thanks all for taking part. Next Team TBD giveaway coming soon.
Loved the "what not to do with fallout remover" excellent, defo more of that. Engine bay clean I really enjoyed as I'm just becoming brave enough to start working on my own, do use metal polish though ☺. Screen twice? Really enjoyed this, thank you!
With exchange, duties and shipping items become prohibitively expensive. There is a detailing outfit in my area that carries a very small set of its products but not the ones I would use. :(
Thumbs up purely for the funny take on people using fallout removers incorrectly lol... Saying that it cleans any brown staining on one of our toilets in the house well ;)
