Well, as simbiotes fight and their host uses them up (leaving peices of them everywhere), they have less to repair themselves with. This is usually corrected with time as they slowly regenerate.
@@devilbringer1102I guess the Anti-Symbiote powers are more of an active ability in this version instead of a passive, considering the numerous times Peter has to intentionally activate it like Miles’ Venom Blasts.
It’s actually COMIC accurate. When using Anti-Venom’s healing touch ability it slowly burns the suit/symbiote away (it needs time to regenerate). Thats why Eddie had to give it up. And how *Spoiler* for Red Goblin Storyline: Flash was killed after using Anti-Venom to heal all of Spider-Man’s friends and family including Spider-Man. It left the suit so dilapidated it couldn’t heal Flash when Goblin struck a mortal blow.
A lot of people say they don't consider the Raimi suit a symbiote suit, but it's simply accurate to that portrayal of the symbiote. If anything, this proves they acknowledge it as one and are just being accurate
@@emanculesend of film and sometimes when Eddie brook you can actually the tendrils popping out and I think as well organic webbing is basically just the tendrils anyways so it's accurate

The Raimi black suit seems to go back and fourth about being a symbiote as you can actually do the symbiote nests glitch with it, I actually changed between the classic and raimi suits on the nests and both worked, I think it has to do with the fact raimi's black suit does not use tendrils and yeah you could argue the classic one didn't either but Raimi's spider man had organic webbing which causes the change.
@TvRF2.0 spider-man in the comics does not have an organic webbing so naturally when the black suit and venom were introduced they used normal spider-man webbing and venom in particular was essentially a more buff spiderman, it was not until much later that venom starting using it's tendrils and it's black goo as main weapons discarding the webbing all together I believe one if not the first instance to do this was the "ultimate spider-man" game, anyways this caused a ret-con on how the black suit was portayed, using tendrils and goo instead of webbing, the in-universe explanation was that the symbiote uses the hosts abilites to evolve itself and gain it's abilites, since regular spidey does NOT have organic webbing, the symbiote does not assimilate it, BUT Raimi's spidey does have it so the symbiote asimilates it, hence Raimi's spidey uses regular webs and spider-arms instead of the tendrils.

@TvRF2.0back in the days, black suit are just that: black suit, with black infinite webbings. No tentacles or fluid tendrils. Hell if i remember correctly, venom's webs back then are also white Raimi's suit follows the old days logic of black suit, except the white web since Tobey has organic webbings
@@yezki8 yeah I never understood why Venoms webs were white though. Maybe the symbiote was recreating the webfluid out of itself since it technically should know how to make it from being binded with Peter but it still always bugged me a bit
Raimi suit probably does the self-heal thing because it's consistent with the film. Peter tries to rip the suit off, but it immediately reforms. And for that same reason, it doesn't have the same symbiote effects as the other suits, because the Raimi symbiote was pretty barebones while Peter had it.
I think it's interesting that the Black Raimi suit, still uses the mechanical arms because if you remember in the movie, the suit didn't use any of its symbiotic abilities with Peter, it only made him stronger so in a way it makes sense
I think a really good design choice could have been that the Raimi suit has those damaged lenses that were common in the Raimi spiderman films where his mask would have a huge chunk out of it allowing the actor to portray more emotion
True, however exposing the mouth or eyes would require specific rigging and modelling changes but just for the damaged version of one suit, where as the rips and damage actually seen can be handled with purely material effects without changing the mesh.
I think they don't treat the Raimi Venom suit the same way because in the movie Peter didn't have tendrils or black webs, so they might have just kept it as movie-accurate (minus the venom abilities from the game, but those can be used with any suit)
I wish they would just make the spider jump and dash change between the symbiote and spider arms based on what abilities you have assigned. Or if you have a mix of both just make it an option in the settings. When this game comes out on PC I'm sure someone will make a mod for this relatively quickly. Also the ability to change from white to black symbiote powers.

The Raimi black suit is considered a symbiote suit, but Tobey Maguire never used symbiotic tendrils, and his webbing was still white in the movie, so they've left those faithful to the movies, which is why it's a little weird in they symbiotic landscape of the game.
For those wondering about the anti venom suit damage symbiotes hurt other symbiotes so venom was doing damage AND anti venom actually hurts itself trying to cure people so peter trying to burn away venom was withering his anti venom suit away as it had no time to regenerate
That's actually pretty cool that the SM3 Black Suit is a mix of the Regular & Symbiote Suits because in the movie it was just a suit that increased strength (and ego) when Peter had it. The webs were still white because they were Peter's natural webs, they weren't black until the Symbiote bonded with Eddie which then copied all of the abilities since he was just a normal guy. But the suit was still alive & reformed itself when Peter tried to rip it off so the lack of battle damage still fits.
You do realize that even the abilities name is different right? Like symbiote blast is replaced with anti venom blast. The symbiote abilities are programmed to lost permanently in the story, giving all the symbiote abilities after story doesn make any sense for the story and that would make Peter to have too much abilities with many of them are exact same. Changing anti-venom abilities to symbiote abilities is hard to code might take a year to figure it out, besides symbiote abilities doesn't give more advantage than anti-venom abilities which gave extra damage to symbiotes.
@@zeronime284 I understand that but to me it’s just weird to have a black symbiote suit with white tendrils. Even if let’s say you use a standard suit after the game and you switched all your abilities back to the spider arms when you try to block or parry an attack the white tendrils block the hit it’s very out of place for me they should have done something
@@Venom12081 now, the parry is real oversight unlike abilities the parry should be how traversal skill attuned to tech and symbiote suit. But that also maybe because parrying with symbiote is more practical because the symbiote is more protective to Peter, maybe.

It makes the Anti in the name pointless if Venom could just touch and bully him, I don't get why Peter needs to activate Anti-Venom touch when the very suit itself should be dangerous to Symbiotes as a passive. Perhaps they just thought it looked cool damaged during the final battle.
raimi suit is diffrent thats why. still has normal webs in movie and game so i guess they ran with that and gave him spider arms too. raimi suit also cant turn into clothes n shi
Im pretty sure that the symbiote was just mimicking peters normal suit basically meaning that he would only have normal Spider-Man powers while the symbiote still took ahold of him.
I think it's because the raimi symbiote is a symbiote suit that tries to mimic a fabric suit, like how the symbiote suit turned to a tuxedo in the story mode
It kind of makes sense that the Anti-Venom suit doesn’t take any damage from normal enemies, but takes damage in the fight against Venom considering how strong Venom is in this game.
The main tell for if the game considers it a simbiote suit is the HUD. Peters health bar, focus, and web meters all change in any of the symbiote suits.
Nobody seems to be putting it on the dot but I will for everybody else Raimi's black suit doesn't use tendrils or anything else not only because that peter didn't get to develop his ability that way, but also because the symbiote itself merged with the fabric, while the other itterations usually just become a whole new suit in itself to match the user, well in raimi's movies the symbiote simply merged with the suit itself, which might explain the mechanical legs and well... non use of tendrils, maybe.

I’m glad they kept the regular webbing for Raimi black suit. He already had organic webbing in the movies so there was no change for the symbiote suit other than strength.
Another dope detail is when youre wearing the black panther suit youre footsteps are completely silent, your controller wont even vibrate when you sprint
Not weird at all, Raimi's Version was different, he didn't use symbiotic webs or something either and in fact only granted the altered persona as well as the physical changes such as strength and health regen. So it's fitting that the suit remains undamaged (since it's still symbiotic and alive) but does not act like the venomized versions of the other suits.
The only two things that annoyed me were that they couldn't figure out how to make a fire weakness work despite including a whole faction of Fire based enemies and That Venom activated Petes Spider Sense
I understand they mostly did this for gameplay reasons but the fire one could have added some strategy to the fights instead of just rapidly using the AOE abilities and taking down the stragglers with the other 3 abilities
Like it would have been cool if when we have the regular symbiote that we have to be careful when dealing with the fire cults cause they could do more damage and it would make the Symbiote abilities less powerful and the spiderarm abilities less useless by the end until you get the Anti-Venoms symbiote
Raimi Black Suit also uses the Iron Arms wjen you parry, also I think it uses the iron arms for traversal & parry is because you can unlock the suit way before you get the actual black suit
For the last info: Thats because in the spiderman 3 movie, symbiote suit is just a suit. Doesn't even produce webs for peter nor helps him during combat. It only becomes more than a suit when symbiote bonds with Eddie brock like producing webs, symbiote shield etc.
The anti-venom suit is weird the first time it forms on peter it looks the same as venom , then peter later takes the mask of like it’s cloth , and it is battle damaged in the ending fight.
So fun lil fact for y'all - if they're going by the anti-venom powers in canon, the suit is able to regenerate itself like the venom symbiote can but in a different way. Basically the remnants of the venom symbiote in peters bloodstream fused with his white blood cells when he was exposed to mr.negative's powers, this means with time the suit will regenerate
I think the reason for them treating the sam raimi spider suit functionally just like the other suits is just because it was already in the previous game and was like any other suit back then. It is interesting it doesnt take damage though, kinda seems like it should it its being treated like a normal suit
I mean that’s to be expected, the suits were made individually to work with the model so your expect them to design damage marks where they’d make sense.
You need to rewatch the movies again if you think that’s the case the mcu suits were almost never ripped and yes I’m aware the far from home suit gets damaged in the the film but not at all like in the game the tasm 1 suit isn’t as ripped up in the movie and the tasm 2 suit doesn’t get massive gashes in it and have seen how torn up the rami suit gets in the movies they barely did anything to it in the game
The Raimi suit should have had the partially exposed face and broken lense from his final battle with Green Goblin in Spider-Man 2002 when he takes enough damage.
I hope the next update we get to change the symbiote effect colours since we are stuck at white symbiote during endgame which is annoying when im literally in other symbiote suit
the reason the symbiote suit from Sam rami doesn't shoot black webs is because in the movie he still shoots white webs, venom was the only one who did shoot the black webs, BECAUSE the symbiote latched onto the suit not peter, unlike every other form of black suit Spiderman. To explain the scene of him ripping the symbiote off in spider man 3, he is also ripping the suit but the alien is trying its best to latch on to peter himself. And because of that the symbiote learns with eddy to attach itself to skin not clothes, the first bit landed on the hand :)
What I find more impressive is when he takes his mask off it doesn't switch to the default advanced suit. Might not be so impressive to other ppl, but I'm a dinosaur and I was not used to this. Arkham knight had this as well.
the raimi symbiote suit isnt recognised as a symbiote suit, sure. But that doesn't mean it's strange that it doesn't have a damaged model. Technically speaking, one model morphs into the other when you take enough damage, so all it takes is for there to be two models, so really, there could be a change in the suit when you take damage, except it would only be a change in the model, going from model 1, to an exact replica of model 1, just to fit with the code.
The black Raimi suit is a symbiote as well because it shoots black webs it just didn’t have a effect on Peter because he didn’t wear it as long as the Surge Black suit
The Raimi suit is considered symbiote it just has far less properties of the tendril like symbiote since it has white webbing and only makes him stronger in the movie with regeneration. The other ones are more of your ultimate spider-man / web of shadows suit so it fits in with having more of the symbiote abilities.
