@@Teddy_Bear312 I do, that's the point. If I choose to wear garbage bags and gold chains, I want my character to wear those in cut scenes as well. Pre rendered cut scenes would prevent that.
GTA 6 will not even compare. The mostly serious tone of RDR2 is what makes all the side encounters fun. Plus GTA 6 is not gonna implement crafting, eating to refill meters, camping, having to bathe cause you're dirty, hunting to eat.
@@grimm2871But they should this will make the game more immersive. That game has been more or less the same driving car, swimming, missions, guns, club etc. They should add something, GTA 5 had a new thing that you can change between 3 characters but that was all new it had to offer.

On a side note, the background music during this part is my absolute favorite piece of music in this whole game. So simple but it always gives me the goosebumps.
Is there a way the conversation can lead to the player becoming part of the cult? And what if you tied one of them and then kill the leader? Will the cut scene show the tied person attempting to jump while being tied?

You wouldn't know how good Rock Start handle the interactions between protagonist and NPCs until you play other games. I haven't got my PS5 until last month. The first game I am playing with it is the "Ghost of Tsushima". Don't get me in the wrong way. It is indeed a good game, but this game is the only reference I could get the most recently. When you interact with the NPCs in "Ghost of Tsushima", they wouldn't face the character when approaching. You have to walk to their sides to activate the cutscene to talk to them. There is no way you could move your character or camera during the conversation. There are only certain of them with talking bubbles whoever you could interact with. Rock Star's NPCs are doing even better during play than those in the cutscene of other games.
Rockstar went all-in on realism for interaction with the game world, but they made a few sacrifices for that. Realism doesn't make for the best combat mechanics, so it's somewhat stiff, as is most basic gameplay. And despite the realism of the map, it's not _realistic._ For the area supposedly covered, there aren't many towns at all, and especially for the time period, the towns in the game don't really measure up. Valentine is supposedly in the equivalent of Colorado, or thereabouts; there should realistically be three or four cities the size of Saint Denis in between Valentine and Saint Denis, and Rhodes should be larger than Saint Denis. And all the supposed distance should be filled with much more than it is. It's really a bit empty. If it instead focused in on just one state, they could've made it feel much more realistic. Setting it further out West would have fit the vibe they were going for better. With Lemoyne representing Louisiana, the lack of good-sized modern towns just outside of it is perplexing. Riding out of Lemoyne's western border should lead into multiple towns, not an empty expanse - huge chunks are missing from the map. And for all the interacting you can do with NPCs, you're actually quite limited with how you can interact with them. You basically only have positive or negative context-sensitive choices. You don't get to ask basic NPCs if they know about something, or ask for directions. It's just Greet, Greet, Greet, or Antagonize, Antagonize, Antagonize. Or Respond Positively, Accept, Decline if they're actually a quest-giver.

@@Tonyconstanza Oh, no, there's plenty to keep you occupied, and it'll be one of the best games you ever play. I'm just saying the map isn't realistic for the scale and the time period, and your interactions with NPCs isn't as immersive as it could be.
The video is referring to blowing all their limbs off before the cutscene. The devs didn’t intend for legless hovering people running and jumping in a cutscene
It's a real time cutscene. They didnt specifically made different cutscenes. Other than the few according to your choices. In this case meaning that if you attack/kill one of them it will trigger the cutscene, where they leap off the Mountain. Which in this case because of the real time cutscene, means that the somehow can run, even without having limbs to run with. If they really had made a cutscene responding to being blasted by dynamite, they would either have been blown off the mountain, and/or been crawling or rolling off the Mountain with their missing limbs.
It would be nice if the game allowed more freedom during missions. The game shouldn't care if you shoot some of those cult morons. They are not important for later game missions anyway.
I was wondering what would happen if you shoot the "HE HAS FALLEN" guy instead of the main guy (all the videos show the leader dying) but Im guessing he will still yell it himself after dying
No it works differently in the game, the cut seems are just extensions of the real game, that’s why they have their limbs blown off but are still going through the normal cutscene.

The fact this video has 2.6 million views show that they add as many rare cutscenes as possible for these kinds of videos to exist. It really helps the game's legacy.
You can also meet them at the epilogue with johnny, where they will commit mass suicide. If you run with them, John will cry "Chelonia!" As he runs off the edge of the cliff.

Must be a newer update, I had a broken controller and I had to reset a couple dozen times on this mission and after like 7 attempts I tried killing people and lassoing the guy to by pass the mission but they all just peacefully went down the mountain as I killed them all in frustration
