The DHP | Hermitcraft mini animatic

DHP is literally the opposite of Scarland. Scarland being the happiest place in Hermitcraft and DHP being the most depressing. I had fun drawing the sad beige office backdrops! All drawings are heavily referenced from the DHP screenshots and a little bit of what I imagine this permit alysum to be, I hope you like it!
Music by Jono (I played “On Hold” on repeat for the last 3 days of me doing this animatic, it’s wonderful but it contributed to my part-insanity )
Programs used:
FireAlpaca
VN Video Editor (I have Premiere Pro but idk how to use it 🤡)
Ok bye I’ll be gone for a few months again 🫥 I need to finish my longer animatic hehe

This is beautifully full of bureaucratic nonsense. I love the opening hours sign, the soulless motivational art, the brochures and the details on the form MJYAAFK06, it really pulls together Grian's idea of the DHP

After having had to go to a Department of Driving Services within the past few days (and humming aloud Jono's Please Hold while waiting), I now have a bit more of a dread of the permit office than I did previously XD. Really smooth and great animatic! I loved every second of it! (other than it bringing back brain-destroying, recent memories of waiting in expectant silence and the rest that comes with a real life permit office teheheheh..he...he....)
