He seems like such a genuine and nice guy. I like that he was straight up and honest with the owner before purchasing. This guy is local for me, I see his cars every now at again. Funny enough, l have spotted his mclaren outside Charlestons before lol.

If only everyone had that perspective on life. Gifts from the buyer to the owner paying it forward with a good deal. Money is meaningless, Actions and your heart is the only thing that truly matters in life.

The trees part is nice. Also that's a sharp color. Purple can work on a car, but the car has to be crazy enough justify it.

If I’m not mistaken this car was originally owned by “lotto Jim Hayes”, Google his story won lotto went broke then went to prison for robbing banks. If so Mario Andretti drove this car in the Running of the Bulls in ‘99 or 2000. Car was in rough shape from going through so many owners hands and for some reason no one could get all the motor gremlins straight. Beautiful car still, I remember when it was new and Jim got rid of it for an orange Murcielago.

I took pictures of this car when it was parked in front of the City Bites in Edmond OK.

The 1st lambo I ever saw in person, was a ruby slipper red SV monterey edition, without the SV painted on the side. Still one the prettiest cars I've ever seen. I really do wonder what happened to it. I think its in TX now.

Perhaps my moral compass may need a little tweaking or something, but I don't understand this human emotion called, 'GUILT'... especially when it comes to landing an incredibly good deal on an item such as a car. When I get a good deal on something, I'm thankful, happy and consider myself lucky. With that said, that Diablo is freakin' STUNNING and there's no way I would have sold it so soon after getting such a good deal on it. Oh well, to each his own. As long as everyone is happy. It still would have been nice if that car remained here in the U.S., though.

Yeah that's definitely the Japanese culture. People don't realize how arrogant and rude Americans are (entitlement) until you go to countries like Japan where they don't have the same freedoms we do over here, they have a much higher respect for other people they don't know, family values through the roof, and major respect for their employers. Yeah, it blows my mind too, but a lot of Japanese families built their businesses from the ground back up after Hiroshima, so they have a much greater sense of pride for the companies they work for. It's honestly amazing to see. I joke with my friends but I'm almost serious that if I ever start another business I really want it to be in Japan so people will actually appreciate the things I'm trying to provide them instead of acting like it's not good enough.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they even want to slow down all the gas pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. :-(!!!!!!!
