Most women who face sexual violence from their partner never tell anyone about it. Sex in a marital relationship, regardless of how coercive or painful it is, is rarely considered abusive and marriage is taken to bestow blanket consent for sex. It is important to understand that every individual has complete control over their body and marriage does not take that right away.
