My Grandfather was killed that day. Didnt make it out of the landing craft. He was an unarmed stretcher bearer. ❤️

Hi Zoe, my grandfather was a Corpsman with Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps, landed here on this beach, and was taken prisoner. Would love to chat with you. I wonder if they knew each other.

Hi, he must have known Mr. Ron Beal. He too was there and taken prisoner. I don't know much about my Grandfather as you can imagine, he died when my Dad was 6 yrs old.
