Stomach bugs are never fun and, are always a pain in the ass. Hope you feel better soon Tim. I been thinking of getting myself a nice briar for awhile but, not much has caught my eye. A few Savinelli's, Petersons and a couple of artisan pipes have caught my eye honestly but, they are expensive enough that I'd be nervous about ruining them somehow.

Greetings Tim. Very sorry you have been feeling shit!! I have yet to try that Rattrays blend, but do have a couple of tins of it from 12 plus years ago waiting for me in the garage. You have wetted my appetite. Interesting to hear about the Grabow. I have heard others speak positively of the brand, but if honest, I have always been a bit sniffy about it, viewing it as a little inferior, which I know is probably very wrong. As you say, every pipe varies, and a high price does not mean it will smoke well! Get well soon buddy.
