lets remember that Genshin's story was kinda bad before Sumeru, lets give Wuwa a chance, they are still literally 2 days old, Genshin has a good story, and ost, but the gameplay is ass, its just figuring out what combination of bursts does the most damage. I believe the story of Wuwa WILL improve, be patient.
Genshin impact story was great from act1 or 1.4 it just got even more better, i tried both games and genshin negs in every thing except gameplay, even the design in wuwa , people might think it's better than genshin depends on opinion but i find it too flashy and fan service , visuals too , but i appreciate that kuro games worked hard in their game and the story of wuwa at the start like one hour in the game was shit , i was one of the haters of the story but as soon as i finished the story quest i started to make theories and got interested in the story , like that the rover in latenc discord or half a latenc discord, alot of this, boss fights in wuwa are awesome especially scars fight but again u can't compare wuwa and genshin since genshin in from 2019 and worked for itself making new ideas but wuwa is from 2024 and took many ideas form genshin impact,so don't compare genshin 1.0 to wuwa 1.0 , compare the both now games cuz we don't live in the past
They're not bad. I was supposed to quit in 1.0 but decided to stay because of the story. Although the Inazuma archon quest felt kinda meh because the climax didn't give justice to the buildup but they're still great overall. At least imo

Genshin has a beautiful OST and scenery but a pain to explore; the gamplay is fun but there's only one place where your rotation and composition matters. Honestly, after a couple of years doing the same abyss, im just not interested anymore. Maybe Wuwa will end up being the same, maybe not.
