I listen to your podcasts and respect your perspective on training/developing youth ball players. Minus the indoor facilities, monthly fees, and superior technology, a few former college players (now fathers), are doing the best we can out here in Hawaii for no charge with a club of about 14 7th and 8th grade kids. The whole off season has been a work up with interval strength training, weight ball throwing programs, and cage work. Had in and outs for the first time this season yesterday and their throws were crisp, on a line. The fielder's movements mimic high school players and most of them are 13. No PG tourneys out here.
