Idk adaptive seems like it pushes back up for you so that all you have to do is gently hold it down to have a free modded controller that fires for you

I got you with the sauce. Go to your main setting ma for controller & lower the radius of when pressing the trigger in order for it to register. Cause I always have my triggers on MAX SHORT. Controllers are 10$ more than normal. And as far as a ps5 you can get one here before too long for the price. If not cheaper. These people that spend 1000$ on a ps5 are fools
There's an even better analogy, there are AR lowers (or maybe just triggers) called forced reset triggers that force the trigger to come fully reset after a single shot so you can just keep a constant pressure on just the trigger and get many shots off
@@MyManJFKTV yeah but it was only used in a very small hand full of games and usually wasn’t to important. The only one I can think of is in MGS when pressing x softly made you draw your weapon but smashing it made you fire.

The triggers work on almost every game. Call of duty, Fortnite, fifa, 2k, every ps exclusive, every AAA single player game in the last 4 years. I personally haven't come across a game that doesn't use them
They are different thing. That’s like saying, the difference between driving a bus in light traffic and flying a rocket to the moon. They ARE both vehicles but have completely different purposes.
Yes, they are functionally different mechanics when one is off and one is on. If you turn on the Xbox controller and play a racing game, the vibration motor actuates.
I actually used this logic on my wife when we were dating, and she asked about my "turbo fingers." She started buying me games after she surveyed my tastes. You don't need a gamer girl, just one that accepts your gaming.

I own both consoles and the X Box Series X controller feels incredibly last gen after you have experienced the new Dual Sense on PS5. They are just so ridiculously immersive especially for single player games. You can switch off the adaptive triggers for multiplayer or if you wanted to go back to the more dated X box style controllers but seriously once you've experienced that huge increase in immersion the dual sense delivers I can't imagine many people doing so as playing on my X Box controller feels like going back 10 years to the X Box One days and definitely not in a good way 😂

When i first got my ps5 i got hell let loose as my fisrt game and i thought my remote triggers were broke or something cause they was hard asf to pull. It took me a while but i finally figured out it was meant to be like that and i had to turn it off😂
I'm sure Adaptive Trigger can be use for trigger stop, just need an update for this feature, it would be really cool, just toggle it in the settings and it blocks the trigger to a point, the best thing about this that it could be highly tunable
One is meant for games where semi-auto is used highly, the other is for full auto immersion. The difference is that xbox made a controller to perform better, which is why it also includes elevated sticks for more precise movements and key-binding paddles.

You xbox players feel like you have the better stuff for "pro" gaming when your "pro" controller is badly engineered and charged 100$ more. What all gaming is about for the average player is immersion. On this not Sony has put way more effort and thought into making their BASE controller the best controller of it's generation for the respectable price of 70$. The illuminated fantasy about that fanbase's green fridge has to stop, mofos can't even play fighting games, and they tryna compare their cheap "pro" controller to the more functional and technologically advanced Dualsense controller when all what is pro about it is the price.
Are adaptive triggers all that noticeable? For me HD vibration looks like a way better way to make someone feel the recoil or something like that, but having the trigger doing that just looks weird.
@@ivanmunoz9055 if you have a PS5 just disable the Adaptive Triggers, it will distract you in multiplayer games and it damages the controller. no wtf, it's about the game design like Returnal literally using 2 completely different attacks on the same button. Its not autofire vs semiauto. Its more like firing your gun vs firing a rocket. You dont wanna waste those rockets, so the adaptive trigger stops you unless you force through it
if games dont design their entire system around it, then yeah its gonna be whatever this stupid argument is. Adaptive triggers are more for PS5 exclusives because they dont transition well into cross-platform
@@Goldie_Roger i was saying it in more of a preference way as in when im playing "tryhard" games i wouldnt want my triggers to vibrate when shooting as well as the whole controller vibrating. But id use those in story games to add to the immersion.
@@jayemx6965 I meant it in an objective matter. What I was trying to say is that the conversation needs to be phrased around the adaptive triggers being a feature rather than an enhancement. XBOX Stoppers are completely different, separate purpose in their own category. PS5 adaptive triggers would work for multiplayer or single player. It's basically just another button that can fit naturally inside the trigger. Instead of having a different button for aiming or zooming the scopes, that can be the adaptive trigger. Zoom and shoot in 1 button. Instead of having 2 different buttons for punches (quick jabs & stronger punches), that's now 1 trigger. Now think outside the box. In an RPG, the trigger can be a quick-menu or map, with full-press being the full menu. This will be even more useful for MMORPG's like FF14 where the triggers are used for hotbars/hotkeys. Now bringing PC games designed for keyboard/mouse UI interaction will be easy with 2 adaptive triggers. Ok, so yes, it's just another button. But it's designed into an existing button to make it more intuitive.

Then I'd just get the Xbox then, there's no point in buying a console setup with a controller with more expensive hardware in it if you're just gonna disable it. I'd say disabling vibration motors would be better than disabling a whole nother type of advanced mechanics you get what I'm saying? The only plus side about disabling the motors whether that's disabling rumble packs, haptics, trigger rumble or adaptive triggers, the only positive to me is longer battery life. But I prefer the extra effects, I only disable the vibration (sometimes) only when the batteries are running low on my Xbox or Playstation controllers. I don't have the next gen consoles yet, (I wish) but it'll be pretty much the exact same thing.
