let it be known that breg is easier to deal with than villagers, he doesn't move on his own, he's easier to keep track of, he protects you from skeletons and you can probably put a fishing rod on him easier. he keeps gregs away from you at the low low cost of not allowing you to get too far away. we love breg

this is really interesting honestly, i'm gonna note down all of the observations that i'll be making in this comment (i havent installed this mod yet and i'm kind of late to the mod) 1: trying to escape from breg seems like it uses the same mechanism as greg dragging you up to the surface when you try to hide underground (since it does the same little animation when you try to get away from it by using a boat). breg is also just really silly and i love him 2: breg fits inside a boat, i wonder if the same works for greg too, also boating breg around is funny and it does actually seem like its based on your proximity to breg for the dragging thingy. also it is really smart to use slabs to get him up blocks 3: you need lectures on interior design smh 4: putting breg on a lead would be really convenient but of course, that'd be too simple 5: putting breg into a bucket is an incredible invention, i approve 6: breg doesnt seem to take projectile damage for some reason (the skeletons that shot at him didnt hit) but he takes regular damage (as evidenced by the iron golem) 7: breg saying that greg is ''turned on'' by a certain shrine is wild 8: gregs spawning on the same y level as you if your on an elevated platform is definitely new, i dont remember that being a thing, i guess its kind of a counter to the tower strat, but regardless, i'm sure you'd still be able to just surround yourself with blocks and greg wouldnt be able to get you. also i'm assuming that the boat strat still works since it doesnt seem like diffy changed the ''dragging'' animation at all so camping in the ocean is still viable as far as i can tell the ending was actually pretty emotional, even though its just a silly mod, you executed that masterfully so, much like last time, huge props to your editing and storytelling i think there's definitely less here than the original greg analysis that i made on your other video since it focuses a lot more on breg and breg doesnt have quite as many features as greg but its still interesting to compile some of this together in case somebody would want to do a speedrun and just want some info laid out theoretically, if a speedrunner has enough patience, they would be able to just keep breg permanently and never summon greg and just beat the game (though, i am really really curious about what happens if you send breg through a portal, does the game count that as breg being too far from you or as breg just straight up disintegrating)

These vids have a unique vibe to them. Curious to see how you'd tackle other mods or specific content in general if you have plans.

I did some testing and turns out if you go far enough away (which you can do with 2 pearls or a boat) it stops dragging you in. I managed to do it on -5775683326133997747, 4703395739902869045, and 1999755508300786157, the spawn location is slightly different every time you load into a world so they might need multiple tries. The 1st one is probably the best as it's the easiest to escape breg on and there are 2 buried treasures close by which have 2 diamonds and 14 iron, however the 2nd one has a village but it was the hardest to escape breg on There's also 11016454462926463, 32408552692936788, and 59148675480448985 (found with seed finder) which all have woodland mansions close to spawn (so easy totems for nether and respawn anchors) and it's easy to escape breg on all of them, the 1st 2 are closer to a village -and I just realised that u can go through the portal normally but the portal on the overworld side breaks-, can't reproduce anymore but you can probably use immunity ticks somehow to get respawn anchors you can basically fly if you put a lot of arrows into a portal at the same time this is what I thought before: If you were to set up a pearl stasis chamber then move breg far enough away so he would be unloaded if you teleported, then activated it (or just threw a pearl on high render distance then lowered it when the pearl lands) and you might have to bring him out of the spawn chunks, breg might stop dragging you because the part of the code that drags you is probably in breg so if he is unloaded it would stop running that and wouldn't pull you in.

Hey, i think why Greg does not spawn because Breg spawned him when you pressed yes, that's why he wants to chill with you in a boat ( if you are smart ) but when you pressed yes, he could not have a friend to chill with anymore so he makes you rely on him. ( BTW: if you pressed no, think greg took over breg and killed you| also sorry for misspellings i was in a rush. )
