A mesmerizing presentation...celebrating history, fashion, art, dance, and music...not traditional Dior...but so what...fashion is not all about the past...if so the great houses of design would've been dead long ago...the challenge is the melding of the past, the present, and the future and elevating it to an art form. Few of us can afford the brand, but, fortunately, many of us can appreciate the artistry.
Really don’t like the dancers - too much time filming them. I want to see the clothes but I seem to be the only person that feels this way. When I go to the ballet I would be horrified to have fashion models wandering all over the stage.
Dior has taken the relaxed minimalism of 2022 and bumped up the elegance a few notches for 2023. They're smart to realize you can't make people swing out of their comfort zone too fast. This collection will do well.
Oh Dior, not an ordinary fashion show. it's not in their vocabulary.. it's full of drama, art... after watching, it will leave you speechless because it's world class
That was beautiful, a stunning selection of clothing with great variety from wearable everyday items to incredible pieces of art, and with that gorgeous choreography, set and music, a very beautiful and mesmerising show, well done Dior.
This was a very cohesive and intentional collection. The way the clothes, set decor and the dancers told a story was really inspiring. This was a nice reminder that although it is just clothes, fashion is also an art form.
Finally, they spiced the things up to a good extent, worthy enough of the huge Dior legacy. The dance, exquisite; the clothes, romantic, nostalgic and modern at the same time, everything about this presentation is beautiful.Thanks to Maria Grazia and the team for a gorgeous collection.

That was so brown& beautiful. It’s like a gothic wedding. Or maybe it was the year 1985 & the New Romantics just made the Limelight scene. How romantic. We are blown away by this haute couture.
Some of it felt like what a Dior collection would be like if the late Alexander McQueen was designing it mixed with a dash of Ann Demeulemeester'esque gothic/romanticism.
@@akym82810 Oh that's a better shout for sure. It's kind of like a filtered down true McQueen so Sarah Burton is a good call. The Ann Demeulemeester bit that I mentioned too is more like the later Sébastien Meunier work too, a bit more romantic rather than the earlier 'grittier, punk'ish, s&m'esque' Ann stuff. So not true Alexander or Ann but the later Sarah and Sébastien stylistically for sure :)
Dior just showed everyone else how to actually make the whole 90s/alternative trends actually consistently look good (and in a luxurious way). Really great work. Loved the set and the kinetic feature (performers). Alongside the mentioned 90s/alternative trends, made me think of those Tool videos from back then, which I also always enjoyed.
The designs are of course, exquisite. The commentary between the jaw-dropping choreography and the designs tell the story of how fashion taught us how to walk; doll-like under the structures of the past, to a modern reclaiming of 'femininity.' To revisit and reimagine... Bravo House of Dior! Bravo!

Magnifique décoration une scène d'un autre monde, mystique et mortuaire...Élégance, Sophistiqué et Majestueux. On perçoit pour ma part une devanture du temple de la Saga Familia (mon imagination 😊) J'aime ce monde "Autre". Des danseurs et danseuses 👍🏾. BRAVO pour cette Couture Souple et Rigide à la fois. Far too dark, brooding, yes, diabolical .. seemed to have been tailored to compliment, all of the dim and questionable aspects of today’s society. The dance portion, where so many male dancers descended down upon the woman, seemed more like gang assault .. go back to your sketch pad, please .. has our world not turned dark enough?
This collection gives me The Brothers Grim. Very creative! The dancers are phenomenal as well. Beautiful! ❤ P.s. The videographers and production team are excellent as well. Brava.
Even with the cool twin theme Gucci did, this show blew them outta the water. I would actually wear most of this. Feels timeless but also current. Well done 👏

And that’s exactly what Jisoo is doing, she has a large public and helps Dior to increase their sales every year. She also embodies the brand perfect. What else do you want?
Love the variety and how I saw a nice number of outfits that were different but were made out of the same fabric so it was like having multiple different choices but still being in your comfort zone
