Sorry for being a bit late to the party, but i really enjoyed watching this! Such a lovely, happy crowd of people, having a blast!! I loved all the Rock'n'Roll dancing, it looked such fun and i couldnt help myself, i was grinning like a Cheshire Cat! Loved it!!! 😍😍😍😍

What a fabulous weekend you had, the Savoy looked spotlessly clean and the entertainment was brilliant. I liked the fact you showed how beautiful The Winter Gardens is, what a superb piece of architecture, it’s a pity the Tower was closed you would have loved to dance in the Ballroom. The visit to North Pier was interesting and you were lucky to see the Starling murmuration, what an amazing sight. I hope you return again to enjoy the facilities Blackpool has to offer, such a pity Storm Debi appeared at the end of your stay.

Great video xx so many fond memories of Blackpool, visiting Grandparents and eventually living there for a few years. Lots of family get togethers at the Savoy, thanks for sharing. PS it was so good to see tinned tomatoes at the breakfast buffet - that just doesn't happen so much these days, especially down south where I now live xx

Don't know how I came to watch this but anyhow yeah I enjoyed it watching everyone else enjoying themselves good vid and the old guy near the end holding onto the rail at the bar to twist down lol funny that was, anyway cheers for the vid.

Next time you come to Blackpool, take the tram to Bispham Station the highest point on the Fylde Coast. On clear days you'll get great views of the Lake District mountains, North Wales and if you're really lucky The Isle of Man. Best time to see the Isle of Man is at sunset but only if the conditions are right. We do get some amazing sunsets. Worth bringing binoculars to see Barrow in Furness, Piel Island Castle and the Sir John Barrow Moment, Ulverston. Cross over the road to Red Bank Road for lovely restaurants. Get back on the tram and go to Cleveleys which got the lot! Beautiful beach and lovely town centre for great shopping. Looks like you had a great weekend xxx

What a great weekend you had. I get where you’re coming from with the reviews for the hotel. Looked ok to me. Ok ,a bit “ruff” round the edges but Iv stayed in hotels worse than that. Thoroughly enjoy watching you both dance, must be fantastic to share your rock and roll interests, my husband isn’t interested in that era or dancing unfortunately. I do. We do love going away in our motorhome though.work and finances permitting. Great job guys. ❤

It's the first time me (dave) and my wife(janet) have watched your videos. We are hooked lol, their absolutely brilliant, full of so much detail and fun. We live in Morley Leeds, not that far from Holmfirth, not as the crow flies, lol. We love the East Coast and west, Blackpool, Whitby, Scarborough etc. Your motorhome looks amazing, just the kind I'd like. We always have weekends away in Hotels and B&Bs, seeing the local rock & roll shows and concerts, many in pubs, bars. Me and janet have laughed and enjoyed your videos so much. You both seem just like us, so loving, full of fun and down to earth. With us being new to the Channel, just wondered if you'd done Blackpool yet.

Haven't been to Blackpool in years, never been in The Savoy! Really enjoyed the dancing 🥰

Genuinely the worst I've ever stayed in. We had a double buggy for 2 kids. When we checked in, we said we were returning cos of, basically going out to blackpool. When we returned, to go back to the room .. THEN informed us the lift wasn't working. They put us on the 2nd floor. No lift ... double buggy. They refused to change the room. They refused to allow us to change hotels. They could have said said when we checked in, what the issues were. ... My wife and kids were crying by now. We had a long day. WE had to lug a 2 seated buggy up 2 flights of stairs. Extremley heavy. The next morning, when I went to complain, ... I was met by a IMMENSIVLEY rude woman who basically said we were checking out so it didn't matter. FUCKING AWFUL !!!!!!!!

I stayed at this hotel with my best mate in 2017,the TV didn't work,stains on the mattress,someone was playing thumping dance music near us,cannabis smell I could go on.would never stay there again after that experience,luv Blackpool though.

Absolutely biggest shithole I’ve ever been in, and it was £80 a night. How the authority’s allow this place to be open ,I don’t know, it can not be assessed at all.

There is still something good about Blackpool even in a storm, looks a good hotel and you had a dam good time there. Gaz Yorkshire coast.

Oh shame about the weather, you’ll have to come over here to the rockabilly weekend in Torremolinos next year, just finished fabulous weather. Mr Slaw would like the American classic cars on show me thinks.

We had our wedding breakfast at the Savoy Grill and have been back many times

A bit different from the days when you enjoyed the tranquillity and excellent cuisine at the Castle Green Hotel back in the day. An entertaining vlog and the hotel did have a lot going for it, but buffet meals are not my choice. ❤

The room looks lovely and spacious ❤❤

We stayed there new year weekend food great but the room we had was frosted windows so you couldn't see out as it is Britannia owned hotel and Britannia Hotels don't have great reputation

Hi were new to you the slaw family we have stayed in the Savoy hotel there and really enjoyed it don't know what trip advisors on about the only downfall is they should have more lifts not just one as disabled people can't get upstairs everything and the staff there are excellent and the rooms it's an old hotel so you're going to get leaks in it but they are repairing it bit by bit but yes we will go back

You are exactlycorrect when you say faded grandeur and that goes for the majority of brittania hotels, were else can you get to sleep in such fantastic buildings, if they were perfect the daily rate would be triple i would rather pay less and be able to experience buildings like this.
