Thank you, Boots!!! On the 19th anniversary of tdb playing a small rugged mountain venue in Trade TN in 2003, they co-headlined with Umphrey’s in a slightly larger venue at Above the Caverns, also in TN this year. Captain space obvious, here.
I gotta say, with all due respect, that stat wasn’t captain obvious tier. I had forgotten about the’03 anniversary! I’ve been planning on uploading a lot of ‘03 soundboards for their 20th next year.
I wasn’t super into bisco (I thought) but saw them at sacred rose and loved the set. Love their jams now. Has their style evolved more in the last couple years?
10/27/22 Sacred Rose was a really solid festival set, which can be very hit or miss with the Biscuits. (Btw, Bisco is what the fanbase calls the Biscuits’ festival [Camp Bisco]) Their sound has definitely evolved in the past couple of years with the introduction of over a dozen new songs. Kinda a forced song writing evolution due to c19. The new songs are widely, almost-unanimously loved.
@@BootsORiley I love that about Bisco's fanbase, they actually like their new songs. Btw boots any chance of a 12/31/22 upload? Spaga's last stand was tight
Yaooo Boots! I got a question for you, or anyone whom might have some insight for that matter: Have venues that say they are requiring Vaxx Cards actually asking for them at the door? I can’t imagine that would be an easy thing to pull off… More specially I’m wondering about NYS, not the City, but upstate if anyone has been to a show there lately. Sadly I haven’t been able to make it to many shows this year due to a busy ass work schedule, but I got some tickets to finally go see what Goose is all about and the venue is asking for the Pass or a Negative test
Sorry Budsport, i have no experience on the matter. If they are requiring it though, i wouldn't show up without a test or a vax receipt though just in case. Hope you're able to make it!
@@jordanhenderson3812 same Jordan. I haven't been anywhere that gives a flying fuck whatsoever and am surprised to learn that there are still venues still out there LARPing like C19 is something to actually worry about
@@jordanhenderson3812 that’s great to hear. From some other venues I’ve been to for shows outside of music the site said they would be checking for the vaxx cards but I’ve never actually been asked before. My girls a bit worried cause I may not be vaxxxed, yet… but I would be highly super sided if this LARP’ing was still going down as well. Thanks ✌️
Is Johnny Goode still doing lights for these guys? I know they've really scaled back over the last couple of years but this looks like they've gone back a decade or more for their lighting rig.
I wish they would go back to darker shows with those white search lights(2002-ish). Set a dirtier/darker feeling that seemed to seep into the band’s playing.
I always watch phish videos for lights. This summer was stellar. I listen to db videos for jams. I would be pissed if i went to the show, but I'm not gonna hate on a yt video
Agree. Barber is asleep for the large majority of this show. Magz, while a great keyboardist, has never been able to lead a show on his own which is evident if you look at 2010-2012 when barber was checked out.
