The Gospel is Jesus' sacrifice...the law is how we act so that we do not live in sin. You see it in Genesis 4....sacrifice and avoiding sin.... but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast. Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
Close . . . but the Gospel isn't a promise. It's a proclamation of a PAST event. A promise, though indicative, is a proclamation about the future. Jesus' work is finished. It's not yet to be accomplished.
Yor not studying Scripture, your simply repeating what someone else says. Read it for yourself. Your intelligence will prove you wrong. Romans 6:1-4, read the entire chapter, it talks about the regeneration of the true converted sinner. Romans CHAPTER 8 is classic explanation of true conversation. Chapter 5 if you backup will tell you our desperately needs of Salvation from God Himself. Ephesians chapter 2 will demonstrate true Conversation .JHON 1: 11-13, Ezk 36: 20- 27. John 3, read John 3, over again and again and again . Prayerfully seek Him . Don't play with Armenian Theology and Calvin's Theology. Wrestling with your eternal soul matters the most. Sorry but I think Calvin's interpretation of Paul, The Apostle had the greatest experience of God's Grace! then any other person ever mentioned in Holy Scripture . He was trying to put an end to this movement in Ancient Palestine . This Jesus who arose from the dead. Paul had it out for this Sect that claimed the Resurrection from the dead. He received a letter to give him authority to arrest everyone who believed this so called nonsense. The as Paul was on his way to Damascus, Suddenly a bright light Shon all around Him. And a voice came to Him . SAUL, SAUL. WHY ARE YOU PERSECUTING ME. PAUL ANSWERED. WHO ARE YOU?! LORD! Armenian will teach that man is Auotonimis. We are in control of our destiny, underscoring the GRACE of God.
