I remember this game vividly, as well as the 2 fan sequels. Played them to death. Especially the third one (shoutout to the guy who helped my tiny little brain in 2018 get past the blue key in the third one). Both games had a good music selection which obviously wasn't theirs. Since they're both uncopylocked you could get a closer examine of them now which is cool but sad because uncopylocking a game on Roblox is just another way of saying it's abandoned. Good times. There was also Friends.exe, which wasn't really a horror game. Still didn't stop me from playing it every chance I got. There was a sequel to that game which jumpscared you but wasn't really scary (In 2018 it was for me because I was much younger then. Got every badge in it though (except for the key one)). Developer took it down though for some reason. I'm surprised one person remembered this game and a video about it (made recently, no less) has more than 15,000 views. Okay, long comment, bye. TL;DR: I remember this game, its fan sequels, played it a lot, reminisce a bit, talk about a less horror-oriented fan game, and act surprised about how it's still remembered by many.
Interesting to note that the theater is one, if not the only safe place. If you don't release the black monster he can't kill you and the monster states that "he", the white monster can't reach you either.
I remember how when i was a little youngin' (7-6 years old probably), I decided to play this game cuz it looked fun, waked into the theater, saw the terrifying stuff, and instantly left. got traumatized into oblivion
I remember when the creator of party.exe couldn't animate or something, so at the end where the white entity kills the black entity it was just a small comic saying "pretend this is animated" or something LMAO
theres a secret ending in the theatre where you actually jump OVER the gap from the falling platform and you dont die at it isnt really an ending but its a nice secret

I'm impressed someone still remembers party.exe Also, the name of the white entity is Subject_0 so he probably was the first to fall on the error and wanted to escape from the error but nobody wanted to help him, so he gained revenge on others like the player.
its quite unfortunate that how if you play it and only skim the surface, it seems as if subject 0 is the bad guy. Now that we look back, he was just a victim of his circumstances. He never wanted to harm anybody, inferred from how subject 0 wanted to rest in peace so badly at the end
Dude I loved this game! I thought it was so unique at the time I played it because I'd never seen anything like it, but now games like this are common. Still, I love this game for scaring me as a sheltered little 10 year old or the first time.

oh my god, i played a different version of this game and ive been looking for it for YEARS, this is not the exact one i played but its essentially the same
Reminds me a lot of ''The Truth'' from Isle, except much simpler and less complicated. Its like Isle if it wasn't the roblox GOAT it is right now, and instead just chose to be a slightly more generic multiple endings game.
Party.exe is kinda like the horror game light bulb. Both games put you in a simulation that you can break out of and terminate the life support so nobody has to be in the simulation again whilst also having a creature hunting you down.
The aspect could not be a simulation but a game, because of the Theater ending when we get killed by the infected Subject_0, an error screen appears. It could also explain why we can't die in this world, because the game keeps resetting itself after you die. Subject_0 could be intentionally killing you not only for your lungs, but so you can find the right ending to put an end to ERROR_, Subject_0 is completely conscious about future events but he cannot convey it.
there was another game that played out exactly as party.exe would but it was a my little pony game where fluttershy or pinkie pie invites you to her house and then tells you to get something and then they kill you
I actually didn’t know about party.EXE until this video so I decided I would play in 10 out of 10 gameplay they’ve even come out with multiple chapters answer funny memes
I think thr reason the "bad ending" is a "true ending" is because when you die in the other endings you are reset, but dying in rhe bad ending actually kills you instead of simply being reset
i remember playing the OLD GAME WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT and i i somehow got a secret ending by guessing some codes that is probably in happy oofday 1 or i just forgot ok?
Still revisit it from time to time. Been playing for 5 years but didn't play much late 2018-late 2020 so I only have 8 event items. The game used to be small and simple which I really liked. Then they added all this stuff like the grounded lab.
