Looks like the result if Sinn made a Samurai. Seems they could charge a little less with the common Seiko movement they opted for. I like it overall though.
I have to say I quite like it. The subtle splashes of green suit the watch well. I get the point a Miyota 9 series would be better. But I could live with the NH38, especially as it is the proper no-date movement. Maybe the hot water trick works with this bezel?
Good shout, Alex! I was waiting to finish all the filming and now I definitely have to give that a go 🫡🙌🏻I actually love the colourway here - those little touches are just perfect. Otherwise it’s just a grey watch. The little bits of colour take it to another level, you’re bang on 💯
“Brands of condoms…” made me actually laugh out loud. RZE makes great watches. I’m one of those weirdos who prefer steel over titanium though. Boo on the misaligned bezel. Still might get one though. Thanks!
Haha thanks, mate - and you’re right, absolute little tanks as well. Generally I prefer steel cos I think I like the weight on the wrist but it’s nice to have a cool titanium piece for a change. Takes some getting used to though, with the lightness! Let me know if you pick one up, mate 👍🏻and what colour would you go for??
I feel like you are missing the greatness of this watch and the RZE brand. Good luck getting more sponsors after trashing them and calling them condoms.
I actually think the watch *is* great - it has its flaws, but I don’t think the branding/model name is one of them, and has far more going for it than against. I gave it 8/10. But this is a review, and my job is to (attempt to) entertain and inform viewers/potential buyers, not to try and please the brand. I have plenty of videos and brands can decide to work with me or not based on those, and I’d respect any choice. If a brand took offence at a very inoffensive joke about condoms then fine, but I think most are grown-ups about these things.
@@LumePip you are a funny dude but your jokes don't have to disparage the brand! If I gave you a $600 watch and you called it a condom I would immediately feel like I made a mistake.

But I think if a brand saw this, I'd hope their takeaway was "This guy spent a lot of time and effort making a video he really cared about every aspect of to show off the pros and cons of our product". If they did think, "He made a joke about condoms, which generally allude to strength and durability, and our watches, which is BAD", I'd think they probably hadn't seen/understood the video and it's on them. I categorically did not trash them. I think they make amazing watches, and I've reviewed another of their watches. In that video, I compared it to a Michael Bay film. If they didn't take offence to that, I doubt they'll be "offended" by condoms!
This is a why watch to me. Why would you buy it? It’s £:200 more than a Helm or a Citizen or Seiko SKX, for a watch from a brand I have never heard of. Good review but not a watch that I would ever consider buying Thanks
The pricing is mainly due to the titanium construction over stainless steel. RZE is considered a microbrand, so they don't get the same widespread attention as a seiko or citizen would
