I would honestly be embarrassed if I was one of the developers, especially when other developer teams like bungie for Example that have a game just as old as division are laughing at us for the second time around. Maybe if Division had half the player-base as destiny, then maybe, just maybe they can consider banning there players. But 95% of game developers would never ban there player-base for such a silly thing as xp. They actually only ban the players who really cheat. Run scrips. Put a bullet in between your eyes from a hundred yards out and threw a wall.

If I developed a game and you cheated it in some way, I would take all of your time, effort and achievements and turn them into a burnt pile of ash. It would be like you never even played the game before. Not sure how stupid you are but XP=Power. Pre 1,000 SHD is a huge power increase. Even 1,000+ is SHD Calibrations for Optimization, Printer Filament for Expertise, do this during a Global Event and you're getting tons of stars for materials for both as well as easy Exotics/Named. Do this during an Apparel Event and you can complete it in a day... None of that is fair. All that XP converts into strength if you're not an idiot so no, nobody should be allowed to illlegitimately gain strength over others. You want to be like me? Fucking work for it, clown.

Why should players be banned if the game developers were the one who didn't fix the problem or shipped out the content fixed and not broken? That's like saying blame your customers even though you're the one who messed up on their order. Honestly they should just fix the problem and not ban anyone since it's their fault. Players will always find a way to take advantage of a broken system because it's faster but it's the game developers job to not make any broken system so players don't do that. It's common sense. I play hundreds of MMO like FF14 to ESO to GW2 and they ALL fix the problems that players are abusing and then the players can't do it no more and the players don't get banned because they know it's their fault. Division is the only game where they ban players for their shit broken system.

This is a bug, a glitch. It's due to lazy coding, not patching it as soon as it's found. Look at Bungie with Destiny 2. If a glitch is found in destiny 2 that is game breaking, they patch it really fast, and NEVER ban players for using a bug in the game to get more XP. Because the blame comes down to the devs. Yes, all devs and studios make mistakes, no game perfect. It's not about being perfect, it's about fixing a bug or glitch as fast as possible. Div2 NEVER fixes bugs or glitches fast, never. The funny thing is, Div2 has a Public Test Server before every major live update, so people can test the new update and give feedback before it goes live. And yet, they never fix the issues in the test server. Why? Laziness. Did you know there are still bugs and glitches in div2 in the game right now, that existed in the beta before div2 even released? And yet, people still stick up for the lazy careless development team of Div2. Insane.

To be fair... regardless if the devs should of done a better job at patching these exploits, you should of known better to not exploit the game. They could of just rolled back the xp and levels(shd watch levels) prior to people doing this since they have all the stats on their servers.

Thats the funny thing, he knew it was an exploit and continued to do it then blame the devs because "they didnt fix the issue". dont blame the devs for the issue. No game is perfect. if it were perfect then we wouldnt be having all these issues

Im about to say this and I can hear the rage and taste the salt....I want the DEVS not only to ban them for two weeks but to roll back their SHD to 1000 and Expertise to rank 0 since the the cheaters cant get their heads out of their asses. You violate the terms of service and You should get the max penalty.

This is the exact way it should be. If theres an exploit every few months that can do something like this, what would stop the next group of people from exploiting it? Like honestly if theres not a rollback then this 2 week ban is weak af. Next time an exploit is found everyone will do it because whats a 2 week break from the game if it puts you months ahead

Wow, THEY need to learn from thier mistakes?.... How about the people just play the game as intended (learn from YOUR mistakes) and stop complaining when they get caught not playing the game as intended, and making the game unplayable for others. Always gets me, the mentality of people that do things like this. Such as someone who robs something from a car and says " well its thier fault they left the door unlocked". Theres also videos of the boxes left at houses, with thieves taking them. Mark Rober makes a box with a camera inside, plants it and a thief takes it. When the thief discovers what it is, the "ten"? year old son comes walking in and says, "Its a scam box, WE have been scammed".... wtf, They have been scammed... Thieving rats. Getting banned though, is a bit much. Personally just revert thier SHD level back to 1000, punishment more befitting i think. Atleast then in future they may think twice about spending hours cheasing the game for an easy advantage, only to gain nothing and end up worse off.

I don't even watch videos on xp glitches. I prefer to play the game as intended and put in the grind to get xp. It's called morals and integrity. Yeah, it's just a video game. But in everything you do, you show your true colors. Just my opinion and beliefs but I still enjoy playing the game.

people never learn eh, i've got 2 weeks ban + rollback back then, i wont glitch anymore. just leveling like a normal gamer, you just need to get to 1000 and stop thinking about leveling, focusing on complete the library. xp glitch isnt worth it

Agree. I think the main reason people do it is for the mats, so they can get that expertise up on gear. Could be wrong though. I have never had the desire to use one of these exploits, I am shd 1600.

Widdz. Really ? You are assumimg that if people were banned once, two years ago, then using the new 2023 exploit will get you permabanned. There is no evidence of that. However, since they were warned once, the permaban is possible. The appropriate question is: how many people are in fact using the exploit? Does just two people using the exploit affect 30, 300, or 3000 people who are NOT using the exploit ? Then yes, permaban. I left because of the instability issues. I could care less about exploiters, as long as it doesn't affect my game. And that is the real issue. Its like fraud. Most people dont care about fraud if it only affects a few people. But if it affects you personally, you're gonna yell. Frankly, just like DZ Div1 cheaters, UBisoft should simply corral all the exploiters onto the same server, set the pingtime to 2000ms, & let them enjoy that !!

It's funny actually. Blizzard would have glitches in WoW but they actively fixed the glitches. Numerous times. So, ya, Ubisoft is being lazy. Take care of the game the correct way and this would be a none issue.

When someone exploit smth in a game, as a developper, laugh about It, then fix It, after maybe rollback account , and evryone will move toward right direction. but banned is brutal, It is not like most people earn money by playing division 2, It is a game at the end of the day. Remember when the turret exploit, they didnt warn the people not ingame not social, and still random ban a lot of people, now they warn about the exp exploit, but they didnt tell you what it is, so if you dont know or didnt do it and they still ban you then its unfair just like before, now if you know what it is and did it after the warning you deserve whatever they want to do it is what it is
