Effectively a Hunters Fury levelling build with a very strong rifle for range: 2x Belstone 2x Uzena 2x yellow Chest talent Intimidate (or Unbreakable) Backpack Bloodsucker Vector w 10% Dttooc and/or Presservarion/C&P talent Rifle with 10% Dttoc and/or Ranger talent 4-5 Red core 15% 1-2 armor cores Shield and Striker drone for “aggro” management Haven’t looked into exotics yet, gonna do that, great vid! 💪👍
The other option instead of doing bounties for the credits once boosted, is to just buy 30 or so items on your lvl 40 toon, toss them in stash, then log into the 30 toon and grab them to sell. Faster than the bounties, assumes your lvl40 has tons of credits
You cannot reconfigure a lvl 40 exotic to lvl 31 at the beginning in NY, as your bench doesnt have its quality high enough. You can reroll a lvl 40 to 30 back in DC though and take to NY.
I recommend rerunning for the exotic until you get the level 30 st Elmo's and bloody knuckles. Then you don't need a prebuilt loadout, and can build as you go. Bounties should be done in New York at levels 35 and 39. Control points can be done anytime, but don't access the cp box until level 35 or 40. Same with any safehouse boxes.
Man oh man is this shit awesome! I never thought to do this for new York runs. I always just used the stuff that drops. I usually run New York solo. Does the level 31 gear hold up good on level 39 npcs? I plan on maxing out the 31 gear prior to starting the run. Hopefully that helps with the 39 npcs.
Thanks Manny. I really love tip of the spear gear with Flamewall but it's level 30. Do I really need to replace it from 30 to 40 to stay alive? The almost infinite flamethrower ammo is so nice 😔
You'll probably need to replace it. This works best because we bring a lvl with us and the gear scales. Now the flamethrower is nice because you do not ever replace it, so the only thing you'd need is a bit more armor so you don't get one shot.
@Mannyocrity what do you recommend as set gear to craft for lvl up speeds ? should i wait to get target loot striker and go for it in DC for my main red dps build ?
If you running in a group use the gear in video. If you are solo grinding then your going to need to update gear as you go because the gear does not scale. What I did in this video works because the world scales to the level 40 so all 30s gets scaled to 40 level. How ever the scaling stops once the 30s reach lvl 39.
@@Mannyocrity AHH I see thank you allot for the info, yeah I play alone the manhunt since there are not so many ppl anymore that are willing to come help you or to find in matchmaking. But I did manage on lvl 31 to craft a super gear from 3 piece's providence, backpack ceska and 2 piece's sokolov for my vector and as secondary I go with famas, overall so far I completed the manhunt in 2 and half hours so I managed to cut 2 hours less from normal way when you lvl up
Hi Manny, can I still do this with a new character if I alrdy started NY with my main? Just bought this game recently and currently level 32 I think, reached lvl 30 with the main campaign before going to NY. Still learning about all this since I'm new to division 2 😅
Yes, you can, but only certain exotics can be down graded. You do this in the crafting station. Put the exotic onto your stash, create a new toon, go to the white house, grab exotic out of stash, go to crafting station and reconfigure it.
I would not delete your original character. I would keep it for sentimental purposes, but I would create another character and boost because you'll get the first 3 specializations maxed out.
@@Mannyocrity I opened the exotic cache on my first account but now I made new character that's boosted which I plan to make my main. What do I with the exotic?
@@agentblue1000 you can move the exotic to your stash where your other character can pick it out of. The stash is shared between all your characters except hardcore ones.
Why even do this? Why make a new character, boost him, level to 40, then delete? Why not just run the character you've gotten to 30 already? For some context, I've only had this game since early Feb and just recently hit lvl 30
When you hit level 40, you get Keener's watch. The watch levels up and gives you some bonus attributes. This maxes out at 1000 shd levels. After this you get 1 scavenger resource point that can be used for resources like printer filaments, steel, poly carbonate and such for every shd level. Shd level is account bound, so it is shared with all character that are level 40. These resources are very helpful in optimizing gear and leveling your expertise. We basically level a character to 40, use up all the scavenger resources, delete them, and then create a new one. Hope this answers it.
