The Division 2: The new season is here for The Division 2 and with it brings some brand new exotics that include the new Vindicator exotic rifle. To get your hands on this new exotic you must purchase it using NSA credits at the NSA vendor. This vendor is attached to your rewards from the Descent game mode which means you will need to play this mode in order to get it. In this video I give you a rundown of the new Vindicator exotic and give you some tips on the fastest way to get it unlocked and in your inventory!

I played Decent for the first time yesterday..took 20 minutes to find a group where people didn’t just leave..then we got to loop 4, it took an hour, I was rewarded with 30 points and one season level of xp

Any reason you wanted to play with a group? Because Descent is arguably easier and faster if you're solo. Fewer enemies to deal with in each room, plus only one Nemesis in the Nemesis encounter.

I got it this morning after about 3 hours of running it its not a bad gun but not something to write home about my m1a cqb does more damage then the vindicator it sadly needs a buff alot of the exotics need buffed or completely reworked you can get multiple boss rooms back to back and if your on loop 4 you get 13 nsa credits each time

If the Devs were smart, they would've locked St. Elmo's Engine in Descent because it's such an awesome AR! EVERYONE would've been grinding Descent! 🤣🤣

Very useful video! After watching I can say that the chance of me getting this rifle has now decreased by 30% to a 50/50, sounds like an absolute chore and I am now not as optimistic. Having described how credits are earned, it made me think of some of these other Division 2 RU-vidrs that outright just bought and unlocked those coloured outfits that are over 1k each and they bought them all, just how much descent do these guys play, like damn!!

I honestly think the Devs put too much faith in Descent mode and insinuated many players were going to have fun with but it backfired. Now, they've added a exotic new rifle (which 3% of players are going to use or add in their collection) just to make up or "waste filler hrs of play." 😒😞 It's not Decent mode is bad, it's just too long and boring! I would LOVE to get the collectible Comms but I just can't. So many other games to play with a good grind are worth rewards and time invested. 🤔😒

I feel you. I do think if people gave it more time it isn't too bad. For example as you mentioned the comms. These just require a full nemeses run per week. Once familiar with the mode this can be done in about 40 minutes which is quicker than the invaded missions per week. Just three of these you have the exotic and over time you have your comms and named blueprints.

As mentioned in the video, I think three full nemesis runs will do it. Make sure you do every random boss room it gives you 👍

I thought desent would be underground and survival hybrid based on their explanation of it. Its closer to summit unfortunately. I like the comms but the game mode is.... I don't like to say it but mediocre. Hopefully the changed up rewards help.

They have added reconstructed caches to the NSA vender. These are what drop the named blueprints that are available in the game.

I think 3hours solo in that manner is a huge underestimation mind. Yes you can get quick, even almost instant room clears on occasion but consistent 5 minute loops are going to be very rare for many players. Also factor in wipes earning you zero.

My two tips so far are: Back straight out. If the starting equipment is garbage - like I got x2 no damage Scans as two of the equipment options...OUT. The other is to stick to Easy rooms if youre just Loop farming but stick with it and go for harder rooms if you luck out with good talents, etc.

There isnt one yet to buy but you can use the optimization table to max it with resources.

The only problem I have is trying to beat the nemesis I can do it alone but running others we can get to the nemesis with 3 people but that’s where we die lol

Yeah, in a group the Nemesis can be very tricky! The odds of beating the Nemesis lower with each extra squad member

I would say that the team needs to be experienced with the nemesis fight. They should know what build they want to build and if you all follow the same plan then it makes it easier. Nobody should select skills like hives, chems or stickies. This will mean there is less chance for the Nemesis to bring them, especially the healing skills. Each team members should really focus on damage output over everything else, try and get a rifle or Marksman Rifle for quick shots at high damage. Plague of the Outcasts, Unhinged and Trauma are the three talents that are going to help best against the Nemesis.

I dont agree with what most people are saying. I like Descent a lot. I played it for the first time today to get rifle but after getting the rifle I kept playing. I really enjoy how it forces you to make the best use of what it gives you to work with. I can undertand why some players wouldnt like it. Its not easy and you really have to think it through. You have to constantly reposition yourself and have awareness of what the enemies are doing. Open world is easy mode. I only made it as far as loop 6 but I saved to buy the rifle, and then I played for a bit longer to level some other benefits. I think I will be playing a lot of Descent because it really challenges you think outside the box - especially early. Anyway, I have the rifle. Just wanted to comment since instead of people commenting on your video they are just saying how much they dont like Descent.

Everyone saying Descent is Boring and Useless. Very obviously doesnt play Hardcore as Descent is the Best way to level up In Hardcore with no consequences.

even if the grind for it wasn't atrocious, the gun just isn't very good. compared to even something like diamondback, which barely sees any use, this is almost pointless. +75% base weapon damage against limbs you can barely ever hit... that's only a flat 80k extra damage per shot, assuming you land it. very disappointing for an exotic.

I em day one player Div,Div2...and this is buls...!!! Every new players must defeted Nemesis 7 times,at last 5 times or spend hours and hours in this stupid mode! Instead,bring me "Survival" in the game and you see me again in this game. For me nothing new accept rpm on EG for 800 and that is all,my humble oppinion! Sorry...!

Here we go with the cry babies complaining about something you have to grind to get. I never understand clowns like this. If you don’t like grinding, don’t play games like this. If you don’t like having to do something to get something. Just stop gaming all together. If you don’t like descent, a good game mode, don’t worry about getting this weapon you think you need. I just came back to Division 2 after two years off and love this game mode. I’ve only played it twice and have gotten to zone 6. It’s really not that hard. Just….GET GUD.

They made it too easy to get, they should of made it so the only way you could get it was by beating nemisis abs only by a percentage/chance it drops.
