I’m new as well 😊 The game is free on steam currently so I picked it up. I typically play solo though. I’m a woman and from my experience random players don’t leave me alone when I play online games lol

Some more tips from a guy who played the game since April 2021 Mods aren't as game changing as the other mods apart from weapons and skills Mag extensions. Dark zones are neither fun nor lucrative to play, stay in the light. It is impossible to match make for Raids, as nobody cares about them in endgame. Warlords of New York is a DLC which is definitely worth the purchase, given the lore and game's lifetime expansion. Gear : Red cores are upgrading your weapons Yellow cores are upgrading your skills Blue cores upgrade your armor and resistances However, keep in mind that only the equipped gear bonuses are applied. Some high-end equipments have a chance to be NAMED, which means it has a talent on steroids or secondary attributes that would be impossible to find on any other gear/weapon. Don't like a primary core on one of your piece of gear? Go far enough to unlock the weapon expert behind the crafting station, which will help you optimize already existing cores, or completely replace them by different ones.

I have 92 hours into this game and still have no idea what is going on. Understanding the builds that people put out isn't easy. I can copy and paste a build but fully understanding them is important too

Weirdly, this game doesn't support Dolby Atmos on Xbox Series X when it was one of the games touted as utilizing it. The game sounds great, but it's a huge bummer because The Division 2 was one of the first games back in 2020 that I wanted to try first when I got my Atmos setup. That said, I went back to these games again. The Division is one of my favorite winter/Thanksgiving/Christmas games to go back to.

I love the story the lore the gear and equipment everything that's in the game. I'm currently looking forward to the division Heartland and I also wanted to try out their beta

"Get into it", not seriously no. The campaign is still great and the expansion Warlords Of New York is amazing, but because of the recent Proficient System and Expertise System you'll be so far behind that going into the DZ isn't going to be fun as you'll just get farmed. And by the time you get anywhere near close to being competitive Heartlands will have been released.

Only things locked are 3-4 guns and 2 -3 breastplates. Nothing you really need. Everything else can be done single or by joining random groups.

I have 560 hours in the game, and stopped playing because there was nothing left worth doing, except grinding out season pass constantly. with that said, I would have been dragged in by playing it with Playstation players, so that I could introduce friends to the game. Unfortunately there's no crossplay, and there's no way I want to start all over again, without the option to swap back to my main character once I had got them to a point where I wasn't ruining the experience of learning the game by destroying everything immediately.

im level 30 havent unlocked special fields research, there something missing? maybe cuz i have not finish the main storey campainge ? IDK don't even have extended Health like many do IDK. also at level 30 when finding weapons there very underpowered IDK thought it would start seeing better loot and gear, but nothing yet IDK.

I wish there was cross platform character transfer. Had near about a 1000 hours in D2 on the PS4, but starting from scratch on PC, eh too much of a grind. Obviously the matchmaking at low levels is non existent, so it doesn't go faster.

div 1 was good but div 2 is way better. at lvl 30 in div 1 it becomes very coop dependant. I like how in div 2 your not forced to pvp aka dark zone and can play throughout the entire game solo. Keep the game deep into pve and make dark zone by choice....

Bruh! How do you clear out activities (Rescue Operations, Public Execution, Propaganda Broadcasting) off your map?! I've captured the control point and cleared those activities. I go to do another district but then I look on my map, and the same activities popped up like I didn't just do it.

I remember when games were fun to play, all the latest AAA games are loaded with micro transactions stores that really aren't micro at all. When a game has items in said stores that cost as much as the game you know gaming companies have gone to Darkside.
