On the Marksman Rifle category the Custom M44 has a shorter reload speed and has all 4 mod slots. It can be on par with the M700.

so, its safe to say LVOA-C are in the M4 category? I use the Tactical M1911. get all mod slots and works pretty well for me. Brutal is second talent and gets me out in a pinch. Also, use it for Hard missions to challenge my skills. makes you get better at headshots while on the move :)

As a SMG user and someone who doesnt have a House...New Talents for the Smg exotics -Midas Crit Damage is increased the closer you get to an empty mag -Hildr/Eir Dual Weild for 5 secs (All 6 Talents for guns will be active) Tommy Gun / Thompson Crit Chance increased by 10% when hipfiring and Stability increased 25% when ADS

Amazing video, really loved it! The charts and personal recommendations really made for a good video showing off what works and what doesn't. Only gripe I would have with this video is that Thompson is spelled without the H in this video. If that's the same in-game, I apologize, but I just thought I'd point it out.

I play on console so I like the stability that comes with my ACR, which means I’ll never appreciate the greatness that is the M4 :(

The pistols are kinda fun in PvE situations.. when I'm running non-silenced weapons I'll sometimes use the pistols to take out strays that aren't part of a large group since you can keep the aggro down.. but its highly situational and not the common usage.

Amazingly useful Marco! Thank you for taking the time to make such a detailed video. As I experiment with different weapons and builds, I'm discovering that DPS is a good gauge of a weapon's effectiveness, but ultimately it boils down to player skill, playstyle, and "feel".

Wish they would've added an exotic bolt action sniper with a nice unique talent.

I just started using snipers in earnest. I have to say that I really like the M700. The Terminal vendor had a fantastic one for sale last week. This thing is really good. I'm able to land head shots pretty well with it. I just got The House last week as well, but haven't tried it yet. Can't wait to give it a whirl. One weapon that has really worked well for me is the First Wave Vector 45 ACP. I must have a good role, because this thing shreds. A random I joined up with in the DZ was impressed and wanted to know what I was using. lol.

Little excessive and maybe over the top, but I have to start this by genuinely saying thank you. Not only has my return to The Division from launch been a refreshing experience, but your channel has made the transition much easier. The amount of depth you put into every video is unmatched. I have played numerous games over the years and I have to say you are the only channel I would ever consider donating to in order to continue production of videos. One video I would love for you to do and would donate personally to have is an understanding of the prefixes, or factions, to each weapon. I enjoy several different weapon types. The problem I have is, I have no idea which is truly best in slot to each. For example what is the difference between say a Lightweight M4 to say a Police M4. Regardless, thank you once again and keep on hunting my fellow rogue

Possible to do an analysis of the %weapon damage change from flat damage on gloves and how that will factor in? Also look at best weapon talents with the changes to Adept? Awesome content!

Finally Marco haha just now getting back into the division haven't played for a few months and am lost was looking for info yesterday before 1.8 drops thanks for posting Any other info would be great like stats, attributes, and builds unless most of the 1.7 guides are still usable.

Your side commentary on this video literally is the funniest things I’ve heard all day because it’s all true.

So a year later, everyone is using the house, everything looks good on paper and weapons seems aligned, but this is exactly the issue, creators should not just see the stats on paper but practice on them.

I got the Tenebrae from a Named Elite, First exotic weapon I picked up the other day after reinstalling The Division. And damn these patches are sweet.

I actually use the 93r, it took alot of practice but I can finally string the whole clip at once and damn does it empty fast, once in awhile I still jam in combat but it's gotten pretty rare. If you want to use it i recommend getting 10 mins of practice on npcs a day so you don't get annoyed just using a pistol but you actually get practice. Also some of the semi auto snipers are hilarious to use at point blank. People don't expect it but you can pop shot just like the sasg(fire rates are even pretty similar).

Having been an avid user of the SVD, it takes only a decent Stability mod to allow the max fire rate with pretty much ZERO reticle bloom and very little recoil.

I was testing m4 and bullfrog today side by side with the 3 hardest hitting builds (wich are of course predator, nomad and striker) both rolled for the same talents except of course for the free talent and man is the bullfrog a beast, with almost the same amount of damage being dealt but in higher RPMs the bullfrog is simply beast specially when used with predator. Bullfrog is a must have for this patch with the M4 being the second option IMO Have in mind that I tested this on PS4 not PC, could be a whole lot different for both platforms

Woah I came back for this patch having the Bullfrog that I really like and got The House (Unforgiving, Deadly) on my very first exotic on patch day; I haven't even used it haha... Didn't even look at it.

I know this is just a game but snipers DON'T go for head shots, they shoot center of mass. The same as the Police and Military. Somehow headshots became the cool gaming shot.

to sum up the video the m4 meta is still in effect and if you missed out on the m4 blue print maybe in 6 more months you will see it again

No more chicken dance :- Critical Hit Chance is reduced by 50% when hip firing. Removed reticle when hip firing.

I loved using my Black Market AK-74. It had very little recoil. Like a laser beam. It kinda fell by the wayside against the m4.

just got hungry hog is nice for tearing up groups just don't stop firing and with lone star you never have to reload swap and go.

The pistol shield build with banshee was good when they had Provident and the 1911 put out the most damage per head shot and was best for president, 93r was best for pvp with the holster because you can emp in 3 shots but overall, pistols need love to be able to play in pvp

A pistol with Coolheaded is nice as a sidearm for my D3-FNC Gearset if you throw away your shield by mistake

Just returned to division running the G36 ADVANCED and M4 LIGHTWEIGHT both amazing AR 8000 firearms and 450000dps

He forgot the custom m44 which has additional slots than the regular m44

In yesterday's state of the game, the devs said they were buffing all the exotics to have higher damage than their high end counterparts, so we could assume that the medved and the warlord are going to have higher base damage than the SASG-12 and the AK-47

If the Firearms(F), Stamina(St) and Electronic(El) attribute values were given ratings of Below Average, Average or Above Average what would the ranges be? For example: 3,000 - 4,000 F/St/El = Average(?); like I said this is just an example of the information I am asking about. I understand the importance of weapon talents and mods and how they can affect the values of Firepower, etc...without having an idea of the _value_ of those numbers when making builds I don't have a frame of reference to determine if I should or even need to add/reduce (x)...

Thanks for the effort but MarcoStyle these types of analysis can be misleading to new players without in-depth explanation. It really depends solely on your build. For example: 1. classified striker, Bullfrog will cause more burst and sustained damage than M4, and the build stabilizes the jumpy weapon. 2. classified predator's mark, you need 10 hard hitting shots. Basically slower rpm weapons like SCAR L, AK, also MDR. Can you imaging a target got hit by 10 shots with MDR. You use M4 the gear-set becomes useless. 3. classified reclaimer, as a healer role he/she can use the alejandro and fire from cover and the stack allows reclaimer (usually very low firearm) to dish out very respectable damage. 4. Hunter's faith you can run out of bullets with SVD, it's not sustainable. The list can go on but it really depends on the gear set and build. A video about what gear set/build shines with what weapons and talents is a lot more useful.

I think the showstopper is because the others are presuming your hitting all pellets and with the showstopper that’s more possible

5 piece Deadeye Custom m44 with all 19% crit hit damage mods. (Deadly) (Prepared) (Competent 3rd slot) Fully proc'd, I hit with 740,000 damage But now you have me wondering what the m700 can do.
