So they're applying the gameplay mechanic of having the enemies be bullet sponges who soak up all your ammo. Problem is, they're not Aliens, or robots. People should not take that many hits to go down.
+log gard Well most human enemies in Fallout can actually be killed by one or two headshots from decent gun. Here it appears that you need at least whole clip regardless of where are you aiming.
***** Most humans in Fallout go down after a headshot. Some of the footage I'm seeing of Division, has regular looking people in hoodies taking multiple head-shots, being sprayed into them. It just doesn't look right.
they're being very unique. it's a 3rd person tactical shooter rpg. yes they're humans, but it doesn't have to be realistic like rainbow six where they die instantly. it's like a warcraft shooter with skills and crafting etc. it is weird that they soak up damage, but it's unique
***** it's not really advertised as survival. Since you don't even see things like drinking wate, scavenging for food etc. The whole point of them absorbing bullets is because it's an rpg. Yes you do have to take cover, because being too cocky gets you killed easily
+RiSk Blitz I can see why but i think its a good thing, there aren't a lot of rpg shooters out there, mainly destiny and borderland, but i think its widely different from the two due to it being open world. I don't believe there are any driving mechanics like borderlands. Also unlike the two is the customization of the guns. It's similar to ghost recon future soldier and that is a good thing, no gun is exactly the same since everybody likes different things. Regardless this gun is going to be a push for rpg shooters and will be awesome!
I haven't really been paying attention to this game but the past few days I've been watching a lot of footage for it. Looks really good! Hope it can deliver and not flop

Loved this video! With crotch exclamation marks, Mike (!!!) getting scared (when did that ever happen?), flame throwers, mannequins and artful mounts of corpses with and without axes this game and our beloved OX gamers have only wonderful things to offer...
When this game comes out properly, you guys should do a lil video on all the details in it Such as:- -The bobbing of hoods and backpacks when walking/running (Such a small but very nice touch) -The way Snow develops on clothing during snowstorms and such and even on the environment which melts away over time -The little stories told in the word through set dressing, so much to find and discover that is just incidental and there for atmosphere -The ability to enter a block of flats from the floor with no loading and then go all the way to the roof and jump across to another block that way and enter through a window then climb all the way down that There's so much more, I had a good time playing this ok, CAN YOU TELL XDD
So this may sound mean, but I actually mean it as a huge compliment - I love that you guys are just regular guys and suck at these games as much the rest of us. It gets old seeing all these "omfg mlg 1337" guys who are ridiculously good at every game ever on RU-vid. Thanks for not being afraid to be relatable.
I can't wait for this game to come out, been waiting since announcement, RIP Tom Clancy. Don't mind waiting a little longer. Also nice video, you guys manage to balance having fun whilst doing a good playthrough.

I think we can all agree that "The Adventures of Terrence and Mike" needs to happen! Either a mini series or a telltale game. The heartbreak when Mike has to choose to let Terrence set fire to himself to save the world
Things I have learnt about The Division from this Let's Play; It has pop-able balloons, there are a lot of elevators, there is an 'everything on fire' character build and you can inspect crotches....... So Day 1 purchase for me then!

I don't know if you guys saw it but, The Division has released another video of how an agent has to face difficulties and in that video, you guys are present. like you shooting and the jumping jacks and all I have seen it earlier.
The more i see of this game, the more i'm convinced it doesn't deserve the Tom Clancy title, i mean 16:25 what even Is that? it took two turrets And Mike and Andy emptying their clips just to kill one human being in a hoodie, there's no tactics here or a shred of realism...just another mindless shooter with dumb AI. You Disappoint again UBI Would be nice to see you three go an adventure here though.
+douglas gray "No Challenge". Holy fucking shit. Have you NEVER heard of Rainbow Six? Insurgency? Even the new game Squad? Games can have realistic ballistic warfare and be more challenging than ANY RPG. The challenge comes from the careful planning and execution of your tactics because if you make bad decisions and you die from a shot to the head, that's on you and your team. THAT is teamwork, providing scouting and intel and cover firing so the enemy doesn't stick their head up while your team mates try to reposition. If everyone's a bullet sponge though, it removes any real tension and careful planning. Everyone should be equal, including your own player character.
+VaneFox Except this IS an rpg, not a tactical shooter. If the enemies and player died in half a second there wouldnt be any progression or meaning to half the weapons (why bother with an smg when the ARs are immediately better at basically everything).
And once again in a comment section people fail to understand the concept of RPG's, the point of RPGs is to have combat which provokes tactical gameplay and combat this has been repeated by the devs and almost everyone else who knows how RPG's work. If you're looking to 1 shot kill go play COD or something
+Txmothy Have you ever played DnD or any kind of classic rpg? Because in those games (which basically invented rpg's) you still need a good tactic outside of your gear, because even with crazy good gear you can still die from stupid actions. Just beeing an rpg doesnt justify the fact that 2 people and two turrets dumped stupid amounts of ammo into a person without the person even reacting to it. You clearly dont need any sort of tactic or skill in this game which simply makes it bad and boring.
The66Hammer You failed to notice that they were overgeared for the area. In someone elses video they went balls deep and brainlessly charged in, two of them died and the third barely survived to beat the guy. As ive said elsewhere, and ill place it here too, these issues are a matter of numbers. This is the sort of thing that can be easily fixed during the beta/early release if need be.
I thought this was supposed to be an RPG/survival game set in a post-apocalyptic New York. In the e3 trailer they showed having to scavenge water. So why do the pistols have infinite ammo?!

So...do headshots even do more damage than regular areas? I'm not sure how far into the game they are or what gear they have, but jeez those guys took a lot of damage.
I'm definitely buying it! A TPS is what I really need and thankfully there's quite a decent lineups of them this yr. PvzGW2, Division,Gears of War 4, Quantum Break and Horizon Zero Dawn!

what's up with all the lights? I know in-game the virus that hit the city happened around the Christmas season, but why would all the christmas lights would still be working after the crisis has already started? is there a reason for that in the game world? legitimate question
Speaking of weird mannequins I got proper freaked out in Fallout 4 when I was looting a building and the bathroom had a skeleton in the tub surrounded by mannequins holding different things like knives and plungers, Mannequins are truly a sign of evil in video games.
Regular enemies are taking four and five Magazines to take down.Where they do that at? Game looks as if was delayed to play more like Destiny, but still feel like a ghost recon game.could be interesting.
+bob builder it's not huge, only open to mid-town manhattan on release. they have other areas, like lower manahttan and brooklyn but those will be DLCs. i'm hoping for harlem thug gangs and wall street yuppy gangs to fight.
Are bullets in this game made of sunflower seeds? I know it's the post apocalypse and you e got to use what you find, but getting shot doesn't seem to matter that much in the nit so distant future.
