Thanks for all of the information. I've been out of the Division loop for a while (before Underground came out), but saw your vids leading up to 1.4 coming out and how it was gonna change up things. Been playing this week and really enjoying it, but don't have a clue what is good and what's only mediocre anymore. These videos give me a good direction to start in and have an idea what to work for. Much appreciated!

HH/M60/lmg may have best sustained dps but if you want shortest time to kill in pve and enjoy running&gunning I would say go after g36/lvoa with 4 peice alpha, savage gloves & any other yellow of your liking (vigorous/reckless cp or a tenacious mask). Gun mods: Headshot damage/crit damage as main stat for muzzle, scope, and grip ( for g36 I would use a stability mod for your grip) Mag: weapon size, rate of fire, and any 3rd you like(crit, reload,etc) Weapon talents (will be 6 for 2 assault rifles on alpha) Brutal Deadly Responsive Unforgiving Armor destruction Ferocious(will have to be on 3rd stat line on one of the weapons) -competent would also be a good sub as a 2nd third slot talent instead of brutal or deadly Armor rolled on chest, knee, BP, holster(all gear mods rolled with armor too) Extra pve damage on minor statlines: Chest - damage to elites (if you run reckless I would get protection from elites to hedge the extra incoming damage) Mask-damage to elites on major stat line & enemy armor damage on minor stat(will have to give up skill power) Knee-enemy armor damage Gloves - enemy armor damage on one of the statlines I've run every build and this is the best pve setup for me in 1.4. What your numbers should look like: 275-300k dps(this is without the BS "focused" talent on g36) 275-350k toughness depending on your firearms or stamina mod preferences 70-80k skill Sorry this is long but hope it helps someone

I love all the comments. LVOA-C is better than G36. SVD is better than SCAR-H, MP7/7 is better than the PP-19. Etc. Just shows all weapons are viable in this game and everyone uses different types and specifics. Which is great! I remember when it was AUG/Vector with sentry. Otherwise you were totally screwed. TD is handling it so far. Hopefully some new content and slight QoL fixes will make this game rain king.

Well based on my experience, SVD is more of a Deadeye set weapon due to smaller reticle per shot which make them ideal for bullet spamming DMR.

Solusi Radikal : Yeah exactly. Between all the gear sets and weapons, there is a ton of viability and selection, and there really isn't one OP weapon or gear set. They're all powerful and well tuned, even Dead Eye, and this is so vastly different than before. I love it. Shows people all can have their own personal and different experience now instead of the same thing for everyone or you're SOL.

Depends on build....SVD and Scar H are my fav...I use a Sniper Deadeye with destructive prepaid and Meticulous.... Its pve performance is godly since I'm able to take out an entire map from a distance without reloading

TIP - if you're running firecrest and going for a turret opening turn strategy for combat, competent is one of the best perks to have, with the flame bonus damage and the extra percentage increase after using a skill it lets you deal some decent damage

Deadeye Crit damage focused also still pack a lot of punch, especially with tactical advantage talent. Well their highest damage output will be way bellow headshot oriented sniper rifle, but Deadeye has more consistent damage output.

medved from clear sky is a rapid fire shotgun. it has unforgiving, ferocious and destructive. its pretty good. lvoa c is a close range weapon due to really high climbing even with the best level 33 stability mods. some of the pp 19 variants dont have a magazine slot but have the reload speed perks, I find the Aug has better stability, accuracy and a good fire rate, just need to find one with destructive and it cuts down enemies. ACR is another gun I use and it has amazing accuracy and is one of the most stable weapons, with a better overall damage than the lvoa c and is just under the scar. overall you will use the ACR as a great primary due to its overall balanced and performance at any range. combining the ACR and AUG with a predators mark you deal a median amount of damage to your target through bleeding, allowing you to take advantage of the ACR and its versatile range, so you can sit back unload and wait for the damage to set into your targets. (predators mark doesn't deal 50% of dmg delt in 10 shots. instead it calculates the middle number between the highest and the lowest. and crits dont seem to have a significant impact)

I picked up a Midas within the first 3 or so days of 1.4 and I am pairing it with a SRS. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it's got coolheadaed AND determined on it, so I'm set.

OP secondary build: Double Barrel Sawed Off: Ferocious Swift Meticulous Pair this with the following Talents: One is None Police Up On the Move Tech Support Pair this with a 4 set D3-FNC smg build and Pulse ability This allows you to shoot the double barrel multiple times without reloading, get up in the enemies face and go for head shots, your magazine will refill multiple times if you don’t miss and saves you ammo if low on SMG

From why I heard and saw in the patch notes all named weapons can come from named enemy drops. Problem with pve standpoint is just the fact that world boss spawns is at 4 hours instead of the much shorter time in pvp. So say you can get a good cycle going pvp named drops are more common simply on more enemies. So Hungry hog can be dropped in pve, but requires more luck and grinding then pvp. Also I love the Military and Blackmarket AK rifles for raw damage which can be super helpful for striker builds or even firecrest and occasionally predator in pve

I'm rocking a lvoa with lightweight m4 for my alpha build but also have G36 too. I love my pakhan for lmg now tbh just love the thing and MP5 St smg.

I got an m4 yesterday with some good rolls but when i added my extended mag the rate of fire was so high that i ran thru 60 rounds in less than a second. It was crazy so I been using my ak with a base damage of 18.9 k damage.

Currently running with a Black Market AK47 as I haven't been lucky enough for a G36 to drop yet but so far it's the second best assault rifle in the game to get for PVE imo

I'm currently rocking the pakhan and a LVOA-C with brutal, destructive and ferocious.. might check out the G36 though if I ever get one drop with decent talents

Pakhan with predator's is op for pve destructive ferocious and the bleeding are just amazing, you can literally melt every npc!!

from a dps standpoint, id put assault rifles before lmg's for base dmg, as you have to wait for the bloom to reduce to be somewhat effective, meaning you miss a lot of your first 20 bullets, and as for assault rifles, i havent used a lvoac for a while but i do run with AK, lightweight m4, or a g36, but out of the g36s, i think the g36c has the best handling, whereas the lightweight m4 has the best dps, and the ak has the best dmg per bullet (works well with the 50% bleed from predators set *i think*) agreed on the sossige shotgun, having a 24m range, completely destroys the m870 10m range by a country mile, it fires faster, has a bigger clip, and my sossage does 80k dmg/shot whereas the 870 does 125k, for that extra 45k, i can get 2 shots off in the space i get 1 off on the 870 so its kinda 160k vs 125k (at around 4k firearms) also reloading is a load faster smgs i still use the aug + perfectly rolled mp5 ST (ST version has increaced accuracy) as a secondary weapon to my assault rifle

I would suggest the Black Market AK-74 as a replacement for the G36 and if its the 204 one sold a few months ago in the DZ better. With a full srtiker + 2 sentry build and a few stability mods she doesn't moves at all, the recoil is almost none existent and the damage is higher.

Right now I'm running with the LVOA-C and a FAMAS I know it's not very good to use to ars but the famas is good with taking down shields and health and the lvoa-c is good with shields and taking down health at mid ranges sometimes long ranges

I prefer damage per shot over damage per second cause I hear that state is broken right now. Plus, it's always glorious to see my FAL deal almost 100,000 per shot and my m44 going up to 500,000

I use an Enhanced ACR-E w/ brutal deadly predatory (base damage 134,754 & dps is 251,803) and a Military SCAR-H w/ brutal deadly fierce (base damage 268,534 & sos is 431,624)

I just got into this game lvl 30 world tier 5 and my Socom Scar drops enemies so fast. Never looked into smgs but I got a AUG hight crit dmg , so will see how it performs. 👍

My favorite is using the Lone Star-4 piece gear with two M60s (229, with 17K-19K damage)-- reloads automatically and instantly with two Striker 2-piece gear for 20 percent stability. It works really good. One magazine will take down the big boys.

I have been using the G36 C with a monster Military SCAR-H that has 295,861 dps that puts me at 425,057 dps when I use it. I have not even tried to get more dps. I know I can but I do not want to lose out on the hp right now. I have also been using the nomad set since I play solo.

personally on console i find the SVD better even with the lower mag size. its just fsr more accurate with zero reticle bloom making it easier to control

so I've been using a 229 Hungry Hog at my 3200+ firearms is doing 17.4k damage pershot (220,000+). I'm using tactical advance so after a cover to cover move it sits at 324,000 dps.

I was thinking about using an assault rifle + shotgun / assault rifle + smg / assault rifle + sniper / smg + sniper / smg + shotgun, because I for some reason find LMGs strange

The Gecko 17 I always have bad lag. Little frame rate drops here and there but the worst thing ever is the enemy health bars. I can shoot an enemy and all the sudden he stops taking damage, and I'm taking a ton. It's completely off. It ruins the game most of the time for me. And I have a beast rig and my internet is 25MBPS DL/13MBPS up.

Arekz are you sure the Hungry Hog comes with random talents? ive seen 4 drop and one of em is mine and all of them has higher dps(higher basedmg) but the old crappy talents, or can someone variefy?

Austin Spraggins I've been searching for better alpha pcs with higher Stam/firearms rolls. able to get my alpha dps with lmg's up to 200k/283k/109k. i haven't found a lot of newer pcs from 1.4, think like 3/4 are 1.3 pcs, meh

my M60 came with Predatory, Sustained and Competent. and I have the FAMAS which I some times switch out for my ACR which has Predatory, Skilled and the 3rd I can't remember lol. it's not as OP as some people's builds but it's lots of fun. I run a Firecrest build mixed with Nomad (3 and 3). I let my flamethrower do most of the work and use Seeker Mine (scatter mod). to make enemies back off or to get them out of cover so my buddy can melt them. He also using Firecrest but use the full 4 piece, cause he likes the 15% damage increase and with both use the same skills to keep enemies from hiding. I use the Security special and he use the Medic Special.

If you can, use a Tenebrae as a sniper. Way better than the Scar-H's. And I prefer the Showstopper over any other shotgun at the moment. Mod it right and it crushes.

Why didnt you mention the p416 assult rifle, it is equal to the g36 in base dmg and rpm. as for marksman rifles 220 ssr and the mk17 which are certainly comparable to the scar-h.

The SCAR-H has great on-paper dps but i find that i can easily out-dps it with any stable assault rifle. The bloom and stability is just too much.

Hey there, please enlighten me here. I get higher numbers on hit (the ones that pop out the NPC once you hit it) head shots run like 80k a shot on m60, whereas on the video it gets max 50k, but the health bar disappears nowhere near as fast as it does on your video - any tips ?

The Medved from Clear Sky is the best SASG for PvE IMO. Also, is it me or does the damage seem low for the OMG gameplay in this video? With pulse, my M60 averages 80k non-crit head shots, and 110-120k crits.
