Butler City Lake is located in Bates County Missouri and features, fishing, recreation, forest, and historic fields. Nearby are several state historic sites, including the battle of Isle Mound site. On this particular day the clouds were broken just enough to cast beams of sun light from the skies. The clouds and the sun beams danced with the winds, as the water in the lake shimmered. The DJI Mavic 3 Pro waltzed it's way along side the lake capturing hyper lapses, video, and aerial drone photographs. I've lived in Bates county for numerous years and never even knew of this beautiful lake, hidden about a mile off of the route that runs from Butler Missouri to Virginia Missouri and on to Trading Post Kansas. #dji #mavic3pro #newyear2023 #lakes #missouri #travel #dronevideo
